Wow, talk about biased journalism...That entire article was based on speculation. I quote: "Republican lawmakers are raising concerns that ACORN, the low-income advocacy group under investigation for voter registration fraud, could be eligible for billions..." (Word In question has been highlighted). I also quote: "He said the money was previously limited to state and local governments, but that Democrats now want part of it to be available to non-profit entities. That means groups like ACORN would be eligible for a portion of the funds." Maybe we should help advocacy groups, they are after all what motivate the masses, and without motivation, the economy won't improve. However, I doubt that money will be donated to groups with questionable actions.

Exactly could be eligible, thats why we have to stop that from happening until we figure out if its legal or not. Yeah they are not eligible right now, but I suggest we figure out if it everythings legal before we even open that can of worms.

Well, there are hundreds of other advocacy groups that are also eligible; ACORN does not necessarily have to be included in that list, just because it's an advocacy group that votes democrat. If it's under investigation, then the senator that proposes funding for that group is definitely getting some pocket money from ACORN.

Not necessarily maybe he just really believes they are totally innocent, perhaps this is not some conspiracy plot.

Well, only time will tell if they are even guilty at all. All I know is that ACORN was only mentioned by the Fox News article and not by the actual plan.

this thing is still a work in progress. The article specifically mentions Obama requesting the removal of several items giving money to pet liberal social programs and to focus the funds on items that have the potential for job creation.

uhhh...well I imagine it goes something like this....
Obama: hey that item in the bill that gives money to contraception distribution...I don't think that really creates jobs
House Democrats: Oh darn, well we will take it out then
House Republicans: Yay
