Hey there! I'm Karu and I'm the Guild Captain of Release! This is my first guild and most are probably wondering about the story of the name and why I decided to make Release so here I shall tell.
Well, as a teenage girl just going into high school I realized how I would always go to my friends for my advice and vent and rant on them. Sometimes, however, you DON'T want to go to your friends for those kinds of things. Sometimes outside help IS better.
I noticed how there wasn't a safe haven in Gaia except to your friends for this kind of thing. Sure, there's the Life Issues forum and I tend to visit that place a lot. However, sometimes users aren't that nice at advice and sometimes you don't even get advice at all.
I wanted Release to be a place where you could release your problems and have people there to help you with outside vision and you can trust.
But, I then realized that the idea of Release being a rant/vent/advice guild is nice but it just could be so much more.
I'm seeing Release now as a sort of "jack of all trades" guild where you can meet friendly people, role-play, chit chat about random stuff, show off or seek advice or even give advice in creative activities, which isn't just avatar art but could also be photography or writing.
Really, you can "Release" anything you want to release. Be yourself, be random, be creative, get your problems off your chest, just be true.
That's my elaborated grand scheme for Release. I'm positive that Release will reach it one day.
