The rays of the morning light shined through the trees of the forest creating small sparkles on the plants and animals that touched it. A small shake in the distance resounded as an inhabitant of the forest, a kitsutora, shook her fur free of water from a very recent bath. Amaratsu, or Ammy as she tended to be referred to as, glistened radiantly in the morning glow, her fur pure white now free of dirt. The sun trickled down lighting her to look even more beautiful then usual. Her features often came out best in the light.

With one more shake Ammy freed herself of most of the rivers water she had used to clean herself with only moments ago. "Ah, what a refreshing morning dip," Ammy said softly to herself as she strode out slightly from the rivers edge. Each of her steps seemed to bring new life to the ground underneath her, if only just for a few moments. The warmth of the sun against her coat made her feel more relaxed as she sat down and tilted her head to the sky enjoying the rays that seemed as if almost attracted to her.

Sighing lightly Ammy enjoyed the silent peace around her. The sound of the nearby rush of the river soothed her. But even so Ammy was used to doing so many things she would normlly have no time to relax. This however was one of the rare occasions that she didn't have anything planned to do. It was more-or-less her day off one could say. As she debated what to do next the colors of a butterfly fluttered by her vision making her blink in slight surprise. Her tail flicked happily as she felt a rush of excitement by the bugs appearance. Her ears pulled back slightly and she let out cute giggle when she felt the winged bug land on her nose for a moment. Of course her giggle had startled it moments later and it was sent fluttering once more.

Feeling a bit playful this morning Ammy bent down slighly before pouncing after it as if trying to catch it. Ammy, being who she was however, was careful to make sure she wouldn't wound the fragile beast during her play. After all she wasn't trully trying to hurt it, she just wanted to entertain herself a bit, and it wasn't like there was anyone else around...or so she thought.

One last pounce and the buterfly wiggled helplessly under Ammy's gentle paws, no real pressure on them as to not harm the little flutterer. "Got you," Ammy giggled lifting her paw to allow the butterfly into the air once more. A flick of her tail and ears however made her blink turning her head. So engrossed in her play she hadn't noticed she stumbled in front of anyother Kitsu. Feeling a bit embarressed at her kit like play she blushed lightly under the other's stare. "Ah...h-hello," Ammy stated lightly her attention shifting to the odd eyed kitsu in front of her allowing the butterfly to get away in the meantime.

Ammy quickly shook her head softly as she reajusted herself in a more suitable sitting posture. Her long bushy tail flicked behind her, it's dark tip looking like a brush elegantly painting a picture behind her. "Oh no! It's perfectly alright...I don't mind you being here. Not many visit this area so some company is nice every now and then," Ammy stated lightly. Ammy herself wasn't someone who wanted to fight. She could if she had to however, but she didn't see a need to when the other wasn't intent on attacking her either. The flaming disk on her back she used if she was in danger flickered low as if in agreement, not threatened by the other's presence.

Smiling lightly she gave a small bow, "I'm Amaratsu, but you can call me Ammy," The white and red kitsu introduced herself. It would be rude if she didn't after all. "You're more then welcome to stay here as long as you like. It's fairly peaceful here so I haven't had any problems much myself...if you don't mind me asking what are you doing around these parts?" Ammy asked. After all they were pretty far into the forest and most Kitsutora's she knew tended to stay near the edges for fear of the beasts that lurked deeper in the forests.

Ammy smiled sweetly at the other. "It's a pleasure to meet you Nelee," Ammy replied politely. "You'll stay? That's wonderful! I've been getting a bit bored myself having nothing to do today. There is a river not to far from here...I just finished a bath but if you want we can go for a swim. The water feels wonderful with the sun added to it," Ammy stated thinking of things the two of them could do. She hadn't met many other Kitsu's like herself so she could only guess what kind of things Nelee may like to do. "Or...would you perhaps have something else in mind?" Ammy questioned unsure if the other may like her idea or not. Seeing his smile however made her thoughts wander for a moment thinking of how cute he looked when he did. She liked his smile, it made her feel almost like a kit again.

Ammy couldn't help but chuckle slightly, not in a making fun of kind of way however, more of a refreshing chuckle. "Oh? Not good in play huh? Why not think of it more as training then?" Ammy replied. After all Kit play often taught necessary skills. It was the reason most mothers often encouraged play with their kits. "If you like...I could refresh your memory," Ammy grinned before laying low to the ground her back end sticking up slightly. "Try to catch me!" Ammy giggled before leaping through the air straight over Nelee her feet hitting the ground a few feet away causing green sprouts to form before she bursted forward with surprising speed making her way closer to the river.

Once feeling she had made a safe distance she stopped for a moment turning her head to get a look at where Nelee was. Unfortunatly to her surprise she found herself staring not at a racing Kitsutora, but a rolling one. Caught by surprise it wasn't long until he rolled straight into her forcing her to roll along with him, the two tangling together to form one big ball of fur until...

plop...

A sudden rush of water seperated Ammy from Nelee and with a few swift kicks her head popped up to the surface. Her heart racing slightly it took her a moment to realize what happened. Once she did however her head quickly scanned the rest of the surface of the water wondering wher Nelee had fallen, all the while her paws softly paddled underwater keeping her afloat. "Nelee?" Ammy called out worry starting to set in when she didn't see the other surface right away.

Ammy's eyes now scanned the surrounding area frantically having not seen hide nor hair of the other being. A suddun voice from behind her made her turn quickly before a feeling a relief set in. It seemed the other was alright after all, even still Ammy couldn't help but want to make sure. Making her way over to the bank she quickly moved to the male's side. "You alright?" Ammy questioned her nose poking around him as if to check it out herself. Seeing nothing wrong she placed her head up against his before a laugh erupted. "You weren't kidding about being clumsy," she chuckled lightly in between laughs. "I'm glad you're alright though," Ammy added as her giggles faded.

Ammy nudged the other softly hearing him talk about being a failure. "Aww, don't say that. You just need a little more work is all," Ammy replied trying to cheer him up. "You're only a fail when you give up trying," Ammy stated pawing at him slightly. Hearing him ask about her however she smiled lightly. "I'm alright, I'm more sturdy then I look," she replied before moving out of the water and onto dry land. She plopped herself down allowing herself to catch her breath again. "Whew...what a rush that was though," she giggled. She had wanted excitement, and Nelee had certainly provided her with it.
