In case you didn't catch it, just after Christmas about, Hamas had launched projectiles out of Gaza to attack Israel. The Israelis responded with a threat of invasion that they followed through with gusto: an aerial strike, an artillery siege, and a full-scale ground invasion.
Even though the conflict is over thanks to a peace treaty signed a week or so ago, I ask the soldiers of the Army this: Should Israel have attacked with such tenacity? Is Hamas responsible? Simply put, whose fault is it?

Well, by my philosophy, if you instigate the first move, it's on you and you'd better be ready for what hell you will and have released. And if not, we don't care, we won't hear your crying, you'd better have back up...and soon. So Hamas had it coming to them.

I think so too, but Israel's been getting quite a bit of grief due to the collateral damage and civillian casualties their attacks caused. I was all for the invasion, though, and believed Hamas called for it.

Really, though...Israel is showing a mighty hand of power still. I believe that if they could...they could take on the entire Muslim world single-handed. And with us by their side, victory would be eminent...unless the Muslims have something up their sleeve besides determining the sale of gas to us.

Well, here's the thing. Everyday (exaggeration) you look at the news, and some country is starting a fight with the Muslim/Arab country. What's happening? They aren't winning. Bottom line: If every country has been having trouble fighting the Arabs, and isn't winning, don't ******** with the Arabs.
To make this post relevent:
Considering every that's happened between the two groups, it's safe to say that Hamas ******** up. If you start something, you'd better be able to finish it. As we saw with Hamas, they couldn't back it up. It's like the bully that throws food at the fat kid, who's had enough, so he goes and beats the s**t out of the bully. That's what we saw here; Pure-Unadulterated-a**-Rape. Well, not really, but an Aerial Assault, Multiple Artillery Strikes and a massive Ground Invasion pretty much call for complete ******** ********.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. I retract my earlier statement. I did some research on it, and Hamas was NOT in the wrong. That is their land, the Israelites are NOT supposed to be there. That is not their land. Hamas was simply trying to get their belongings back, and Israel wasn't going to let them. The Israelites shouldn't be there, it's not their place.
