Everything was looking pretty good.
The sun was in the process of setting, which gave a nice magenta glow to the sky. Also, the weather was cooling down from the heat that had infiltrated the area that day with little to no relief. It had been his day off from watch, so Seeley made sure to kick back and catch up on some sleep in the cozy comfort of his bachelor’s den. Afterward, he’d gotten something to eat and enjoyed the rest of his time running around with some of the kits that always seemed eager for him to lend a paw when it came to kickin’ around the old pinecone.
Now, having cleaned himself up and combed all of the tangled burs from his dark fur, he was ready for his dinner date with Nasrin. The fit Fox sat at their meeting spot, his tail swishing absently while his pale blue eyes scouted the area. He’d picked up the habit of keeping watch even when he didn’t have to.

After spending her day as far away as possible from the Senca and the better part of the afternoon searching through Luna Grove for one of those special flowers to wear behind her ear Nasrin felt as prepared as she could be for her dinner with Seeley.
As she made her way to the meeting spot she closed her eyes momentarily and stopped mid-step when she felt a light breeze blow through the area and ruffle her fur pleasantly. But the pause only lasted for a moment before she resumed her trip and shortly thereafter she spotted Seeley's growing form in the distance. Picking up her pace she trotted the rest of the way, not stopping until she was next to the male.
"Hey there stranger."

Trained hearing and scent announced his date before she even arrived in the area. However, he didn’t turn to acknowledge her presence right away; he simply sat where he was and turned to face her only when she was visually right beside him. When that occurred he gave the gray beauty a nice smile. Seeley may have been dense and incapable of deciphering a female’s true meaning beneath their words, but he wasn’t below noticing the pretty flower tucked behind one of her ears.
“Hey to yourself. I'm lovin' the flower,” he returned in greeting, leaning in to press the tip of his snout against her cheek. “How have you been? Not having people scare ya into rivers again, I hope?” He still felt terrible about that, but also somewhat relieved that she had agreed to go on a date with him.

"Thank you." Nasrin felt her face hear under her fur but she tried to ignore it and smiled instead of looking away embarassed. "I've been well, keeping away from the water actually." She chuckled a little as her tail twitched anxiously behind her.
Looking out to the sunset to distract herself she wondered what Seeley had planned. Having never been out with another fox before, let alone on a date, she really didn't know what to expect. "So, what's the plan?"

Seeley shrugged and looked at his date with the warm smile he was known best for. “The plan is whatever you’re in the mood for. I’ll eat anything, so just let me know, and I’ll catch it for you. After we eat I have a little something planned,” he stated, having scheduled out their evening after dinner earlier that day. He could only hope she’d be in favor of his little idea and wouldn’t find it too…childish, was it? Heck, he sure loved it.

Licking her muzzle as her stomach growled faintly Nasrin looked around then shrugged as her gaze focused back on Seeley. "I'm not known to be a picky eater. How about you get whatever is easiest for you?" Curiosity piqued at the mention of something else and she thought for a moment thinking about what it could be unsuccessfully. "Something planned hmm?"
