When bands release a seemingly good or great, album that turns out to be a total waste of time.
Battlelore's Last Allaince is one of these notorious failures.

I don't know if this really counts but..
I really enjoyed Mercenary's 11 Dream album, so I was really looking forward to the newest one and everyone in the Metal Forum was raving about how good it was but when I listened to it, I thought it was horrible.

I think you are right......but maybe not, they are all into Black Metal now, I hate most raw Black Metal, so its really hard to tell things like that.

I don't think they really like it, it's just for "Cred". It seem to be a pissing contest, who can listen to the most underground, raw artists possible. None of them actually like it. It's mainly when some kid on the street goes "hey man, what bands are you into?" They can give off a list, and that kid says, "I never heard any of those."
The Metal Forum regs for the post part: have no job, no friends, no motivation, no aspirations. All they really have is Gaia's Metal Forum where they increase their self importance by putting others down and quarreling with each other. Like I said before, they dont really like it, they SAY they do.

It's not metal, but I just have to mention Guns 'n Roses' Chinese Democracy. There's no way around it.

It's not Guns N' Roses anymore. It's just plain ol' Axel Rose Ego Trip. What did you expect?

Yeah, I think Metallica's Death Magnetic was a huge dissapointment.

Yeah, it's not really Guns 'n Roses without Slash, Axl shouldn't have been able to keep the name... But there's already a whole topic about that. lol

I'd say "Crimson" by Sentenced is probably the low point in their career. Considering that the albums that come before and after Crimson are superb, you'd expect the same level of quality. Nope. Half the album is great, but the other half fails miserably.
