((If the font color bothers you lemme know. :3 I just have alot of black and yellow, so I wanted something different. I'm willing to lose it for the rp though)) -Today he was going further. Further than he'd ever been from the area the nomadic group had currently settled. There was plenty of excitement near by. Pa and the family, one of the other clans with children were visiting, and the simple daily escapades in a land full of wildebeast, gators, and the ever expansive savannah provided plenty of fun and trouble.
Nonetheless, Sahale was feeling restless. He wanted to see things he'd never seen before. Explore further, learn more, find the best, and of course, earn more of those every elusive tatoos. A smile spread across his maw as his mind played flickers of fantasies, scenarios that resulted in the additions to his pelt.
Bubbling with excitement, he bounded forward into the grasses.- "Ready or not world, here I come!"

In the very same grass a small shape moved, chocolate brown, deep and glossy under the sun. Little Eeva had been stalking field mice and once of twice she'd even come close to catching one! Sadly, she was still a little too unpracticed, though her mother was telling her all the time how much her technique was improving.
In any case, she was soon drawn from her hunting practice to the sound of a bubbly voice. With a squeak of surprise she lifted her head up above cover, peeping curiouslt around to see who this new person was. Certainly not one of her brothers, in any case.
"Hellooo? Who's there?" She wriggled her nose. "He~ellooooo~?"(( Text colour is fine! <3 ))

-In his excitement and bounding he might have missed her earthy colored pelt among the grasses, but the soft feminine call slowed his step, eyes searching for the unfamiliar source.- "Hey..?"
-And finally upon spotting her, he pivoted, bounding up the few final steps. A stranger! The bag and tattoos gave her away as a pride member though, what clan though?- "Sahale Kanati, bird clan." -He answered her question with a toothy grin, tail flicking back and forth.- "What're you doing out here?"

Bird Clan, eh? Well, this was awesome! Eeva loved meeting new people, especially people from other clans. The Bird Clan was one of the ones she knew so she was doubly excited to meet another member.
She pushed the grass aside as she moved towards him, head high and eyes bright. "Eeva Subiani, Shadow Clan." She replied smoothly. That was what she liked about this land. They took deep pride and showed great respect for their clans. It made them somehow seem to fit into the larger picture.
"Oh, you know, just hunting and stuff. Gotta practice if I'm gonna be as good as Mama someday." She smiled. "But nothing that exciting. I was trying to look for my friend, Chepi, but she doesn't seem to be around today. She's brilliant. I was hoping that..." She hesitated and eyed him expectantly. An idea lit in her eyes.
"Hey, Sahale, you look like you're the type of cub who's up for some fun. Right?" She bounced eagerly at him. "Want to go exploring or something? I mean...my Daddy won't be awake for ages so he won't notice if I'm gone or anything..."
She didn't mention her mother because Rehema would probably be the first one to notice if one of the children was missing.

-Eeva, Shadow clan.... Very cool. The name was filed back in his mind along with her image, flickering a desire within him to meet someone from each of the clans. It was quite likely that it'd happen, with his dad being in such a place of power, but nonetheless it was something he'd strive to.
As he'd began to open his mouth in a randomly polite acceptance of her greeting, the word hunting touched his ears, and it changed to a proud smirk.- "I'm an awesome hunter!" -Of course, it probably helped that he could see the prey before it got to him, a beautiful gift from his mother Mana.
A paw went up instinctively at her playful bounce, batting at the air before her, as her eager excitement caught like wildfire.- "You came to the right guy!" -He proclaimed as he hopped a step of his own, tail flicking impatiently to and fro.- "Absolutely nothin' better then a bit of adventure."

"Really?" Eeva's eyes lit and glistened at the sound of that. "Wow, you'll have to teach me some tricks of the trade sometimes. Then I could surprise my Mother with a new trick or two. She'd be ever so proud if I could follow in her pawprints." She puffed out her little chest confidently.
And then her excitement heightened. She'd found another adventure partner? This was too awesome! With a playful squeal, she dived at him, sliding to a halt right in front of him. "Yay! That's brilliant! Now I don't have to go on an adventure all by myself. You'll come with me, right? I mean...I don't have any plans yet, but adventure is never too far away. If we just go wandering we'll come across one soon enough. What do you say Sahale?" She eyed him eagerly.
She bounced past him, heading in a random direction in the maze of grass. "But if you want to come, you'll have to keep up~" And then she was off, moving as swift as her young legs could carry her.

"Yeah, sure" -He nodded confidently, not all that unfamilar with the request. He took his sister out on occassion for just that, to teach her to keep her silly little paws and voice nice and quiet for the hunt. And they'd even had some success with it. It was something Sahale would never tire of, as long as he remained the best of course. Couldn't give away ALL the good tricks.
He raised his paws up at the squeeing 'attack' that bolted forward, snickering with amusement as she pulled to a stop right before him, another paw batting out, this time close enough to move a few whispy strands of hair. His ears perked, the hair on his back rising with soft excitement as the slew of words escaped her. Of course he'd come! But before he could say it she was off, heading towards the tall grasses.
Turning and bolting off after her, he mused pleasantly, teasing her though there was obviously no real venom or insinuation in the words. Simply cubby silliness and geninune excitement.- "That won't be a problem. Just don't chicken out or tire out too quickly Eeva!"

She glanced across at him as he ran at her side, paws thudding against the firm ground beneath her. She loved running, the way it filled with with life, had her lungs grow warm and her heart pounding.
She loved it.
Her clear laughter rang into the air. "Don't worry. I've been on my share of adventures already. I know what to expect. Worry about yourself, right, Sahale?" She'd been on a few adventures before; some harmless, some dangerous. However, each one had been a surprise, nothing planned, so it would be today. They wouldn't know what they were letting themselves in for until it was too late.
She paused, thinking. "I think I've met your sister. Terema? You don't look much alike."

-Thrilled to have a partner in crime for their journey to the unknown, Sahale ran along with her, his body flooding with adreneline and excitement. His senses snapped into attention, taking in the scents, the sights, all the little details.
He grinned simply as she returned his tease, eyes gazing back towards the familar lands of home that were sinking into the distance at the mention of Terema.- "Me and her actually look more alike then the rest of the family." -He laughed, musing softy.- "Not real sure where our blacks came from."
"You have brothers and sisters too?"
