Friday ~ January 14, 2005 Well, after not playing MS for a day I was going through withdrawls. I loaded it up this morning at 5:00 am. I created a new character named Rieza (I'll upload her pic later) and she's gonna be my smexy archer girl.
I chose Betsu again to play with since I didn't wanna start a new character while I was kind of sleepy. I went to get some potions and whatnot from the shoppes and headed out (looking like a total n00b with my Maple Island gear still equipped).
Lucky for me, I have high luck! As I was fighting monsters around the Thicket around Lilith, I got a butt-load of items from them. I got lots of ore, some gem-stone pieces, lots of ornaments, Omok pieces, and best of all a Two-Handed Axe.
When I tell you that axe was the best thing that happened to me, I'm not lying. I bore down on those monsters with the fury of Hell. I leveled up to 12 and just knew I had enough DEX to be a thief. I did!
I edited my stats and took a taxi back to Kerning. I became Thief and I was very happy. I took a taxi back to Lilith because I didn't want to take a chance in dying and getting my EXP taken away.
I went to my favorite Thicket (number III) and I was pwning those stumps (my favorite monster currently) when I met Honey.
I met her earlier when I tried to sell her some arrows because I have over 800 of each kind. She declined and I left that area and went to the next. I had been fighting and was resting on a floating isle thing when she came to heal by me.
I told her that I'd give her the arrows for free since I couldn't sell them. She declined again. We stood there healing for about 2 minutes before anyone said anything. Then she asked if i was Peiony. I didn't even know what that was. She laughed and said it was another word for Phillipion. Then she asked if some other guy was Peiony. I didn't know him, but I had congratulated him on lvl-ing up (I like doing that...it makes people feel special). His response to me was "TY, po!".
Honey then told me tha "po" was a sign of respect in the Phillipino language. I was intreagued. I love learning languages. She then asked if she could teach me some words. I was thrilled!
Let me see if I can remember without looking at the paper. Ummm, I can't! Lol, I'll post it when I get home then! But she taught me how to say "How are you doing?" and "I love you". She also tole me that you referr to older by "ate" (pronouced 'ah-teh'). I think that's neato.
So we decided to party up and level together. She was a lvl 14 Archer (so cool!) and I was only 12 Rogue. We bagan fighting stumps and slimes together. It was cool and she was much friendlier than Mahuomud.
I leveled up and she told me "Congraulations!" and I responded "Thanks, po!" She kind of laughed that I used the respectful term like that random boy earlier.
We moved on toward Kerning because she had business there. Along the way, we met Asdf15 (one of her friends from Canada! How neato...I partied with a Filipino and a Canadian). Right after meeting him, she had to leave and told us to stay until she returned. Lol, kind of awkward for two strangers randomly parting together!
So we did what everyone in a party does....we fought together...then changed channels and fought more while waiting for Honey to return. She finally returned with like 2 HP. I dunno what she did, but she barely made it back.
We fought monsters together as a party until about 6:45 am or so. But they had to go to school...
I headed back to Lilith Harbor. But I died without my party *tear*. Since we were near Kerning I returned there. I looked at my items and was shocked! I had tacked up nearly 10,000 mesos fighting!
It was time for some new gear. I went and got some basic "thief gear"....a Black Cap, Dream Shir, Dream Pants, and Garnier (I can finally shoot those stars!)
I headed out to level up since I was at 90%. I reached level 13 and decided to call it a night since it was almost 7:30 am and my younger brother's alarm for school was going off.
