When the seventh season of Smallville contains this little gem:
"Pete is working as a roadie for OneRepublic and develops super-stretching powers after chewing kryptonite-tainted gum."

Soooo many reasons why Smallville should've been condensed into fewer seasons and ended already, this being one of them.

When a guest appearance from Gina Torres, the badass chick from Firefly, can't even save you from even earlier, early cancellation. The last 3 eps of Pushing Daisies won't even be aired, though they were meant to give the show closure. scream

When they put you in the Friday night slot to begin with. Poor Dollhouse. I wonder if it has a chance at survival

Or anyone frakkin stupid enough to put scifi on FOX!! Sliders, Dark Angel, Firefly, Terminator and Dollhouse, just to name the ones off the top of my head.... FOX should be ashamed.

Though I must admit the last two have a minuscule amount of hope for a few more weeks. I keep hoping against hope that they won't be SO FRAKKIN STUPID.. Those shows are awesome. And they need to quit cancelling the good stuff.

Indeed.

Another way you know a show is DOA: If it has any real intelligence about it whatsoever. A perfect example would be Arrested Development.

When it switched networks and it's first air on a new network is a rerun from the last season on the previous network. Poor Medium.
