You know, I'm not really sure. I've been interested in it for a while, but as you know, Hime, I don't have the best memory ever. I think the anime aspect of it I started getting into in 7th grade. I really started drawing in 8th grade as a hobby. Before then, I never really had done much except for ceramics. And, as a kid, I wasn't a TV watcher. I think I was attracted to Japan for reasons like the different life style and the different customs, clothes, foods, language, pride, etc.
I know you pretty much grew up with it right Hime?

Hai! My Mom lived next to a Japanese family (in MAINE even!) so she had influence from her childhood that she passed on to me. And my Aunt lived in Okinawa Japan for three years, and sent me presents from there ie Hello Kitty. I really got into it through anime, my first big one being Sailor Moon. After that, I started listening to the music, drawing and learning about where it had come from. So of course that lead me to Japan. Then we had some Japanese exchange students came to my school, and I realized that I loved the Japanese language - I loved Japan!

I ran home and told my Mom what my major n college was going to be, all at the age of 12. And, it still is. heart Miss Chloie You know, I'm not really sure. Well I don't remember but when I got to High School I lost interest
but I guess my friend Jesse got me back into the Japanese spirit

Mine was anime of course, but later on I found this guy named TokyoCooney on Youtube! He lives in Japan and and makes very funny videos about Japan! Then I started to really get into Japan and I found out about TokyoCooney's friends and bloggers on Yotube! Thus this spurred me into a life were I think about Japan 24/7! xd

I'm not sure, I could possibly when I was like 5 or something and my brother forced me to watch the original Dragon Ball with him. But on a more conscious it was probably Hello Kitty or Sailor Moon I loved those shows. I like Gackt and Hyde they are awesome Japanese singers!!! I love the culture even though I don't know much of it. I'm gonna visit Japan one day... lol ^.^

a manga called ranma 1/2 I got hook and never put it down.
funny now that I look back (liderly meen it I have then in a shelf behind me) I have a fuw set of complte
ranma, case closed, and rod we my first.
