I think it's interesting how much guys are into the lolita thing. Hime and I went to take pictures of her in Lolita for someone and we passed thru an entire gathering of exchange students. You could hear them melting on the floor around her. Well, it's obvious why, but on other days, you can walk thru them and they barely take notice of you whatsoever. They literally forgot what they were talking about.
On the way back in we encountered another Japanese boy, who seemed to also forget how to speak around her. It's cute, she's cute, but also slightly funny. Good thing she's mine ;o lol

What are your favorite brands? (or type for example if you get your Lolita cheap, if it was a name brand which one so we can know your style?)
I like Baby, the Stars Shine Bright stuff, Putamayo and h.nato. I tend to wear Punk Lolita for everyday use, and Sweet or Gothic Lolita for special occasions. (Like a Mall trip or something)
What about you all?

I was recently looking online for source pictures for us to use when Yama and I design the main threads in the Lolita Café subforum when it opens, and I found a bunch of things that I actually think are very cute. The more time I spend looking at Japanese fashion, the more I'm becoming enamoroued with it. I've discovered though, that I'm becoming more attatched to the darker aspects of it, and not the sugary, cutie pink and light blues that Yama appreciates. Like, I like those mini-skirts a lot, and I like the cut of the plad dress that you posted. (:

If you're in to the mini skirts then ero lolita is for you... Plaid? then go for punk... Personally I'm a guro loli but we're an endangered species... People are really into Sweet and EGL.... [ sorry if it sounds like I'm lecturing... i got really into lolita over the summer and researched so I could find what my favorite style was >w< ...
