Zylo, Alruna, and Kali appeared in a large vaulted chamber, an enormous cavern painted and carved in images that depicted great wars, thousands of deaths and killings, countless acts of evil and brutality, and on a great mural painted across a great slab of stone it showed a strange creature, a skull-faced being that stood resolute, stopping the violence and aiding those in need, protecting all that is holy. Beneath the mural lay a coffin, a great stone slab covered in symbols and runes lay, keeping in whatever was trapped in the coffin.

Zylo looked at Kali, "This is the Shadow Labyrinth, it is used to imprison those of great power, good or evil, my friend, Kabaal, is a guardian of anything that inspires faith, temples, altars, anything considered 'Holy, or even Unholy. He's neutral and views all people equally, good or evil." Zylo smiled, "Me and him go way back."

Zylo sighed, "The Elementals saw him as a threat, they saw how powerful he was and how he defended temples of even gods that weren't real, they imprisoned him, then they wiped out all the temples of those they saw as a threat, the Elementals were sticklers for worship back then."

Zylo nodded and was about to speak but stopped and smiled, "He's awake."

Kabaal opened his eyes and looked through the darkness, the shackles that held him chained within his coffin shattered, he looked at the cover of his prison and it simply exploded, stone and dust flying through the air and falling to the ground as Kabaal sat up and stepped out of the coffin, surveying the three figures awaiting him, his voice was deep and dark, filled with power, but it seemed scratchy and bestial, part elegance and part primal. "Ah, Zylo, my old friend, it's good to be awake once more."

Zylo grinned widely, "It has been a long time, I apologize for not waking you sooner, things have been....busy."

Kabaal nodded, "I understand, I needed the rest, now, I'm sure you don't want to stay here either, we should go somewhere...more comfortable, then you can catch me up on what has happened while I was asleep."

Zylo nodded, "Very well." Emerald flames flared up around them all and sent them to the Altar of Chaos.
