i got me 5 dwarf puffer fish
no they are not in my big 55 gallon
the little devils are VICIOUS
they are in their own little tank...happily terrorizing snails
i will get a pic later
they are SO CUTE!

they are in a 3 gallon tank on my desk. recommended safer to go in a bigger tank because of aggression issues but i took the risk (because i have MANY extra tanks just in case) so far no problems and they are all 1 inch already so they are adults.

they were probably raised together? OR i have females? i KNOW i have one male and one female but i cant tell with the rest. i THINK females. they wont stay still long enough for me to tell. they are voracious killers of snails and devours of blood worms D: <3 not gonna try flakes or pellets because im sure they wont even look at it twice

when i am on the computer they watch my hand on the mouse and all come swimming out when i first sit down.

Are they active? Do they eat only live foods or do you just do that?

they are pretty active
and they will only eat frozen foods like bloodworms and mysis or live food like snails or shrimp
no fish cuz it just isnt good for them

they will not eat flakes or pellets or anything else that doesnt looks like some kind of wild food item. the snails are for their teeth (they can grow long and keep the fish from eating) i will probably get them a few every weekend because even just blood worms help the teeth
the snails will be a treat and i might buy them a shrimp to gang up on : O

they are hungry right now...searching the bottom for food stuffs

no
pure fresh water
salt would kill them (unless it was FRESH water aquarium salt for like a disease since you cant treat these with copper on account of the lack of scales)
thats also why i used sand in the bottom...so they dont hurt their little scaleless selves

They are simply adorable! I wonder if they'd do well in a 10L tank, that's about 3 gallons right?
Oh and I read that dwarfs don't seem to have the overgrown teeth problem. (source: http://www.dwarfpuffers.com/)

As long as they are not fighting, I wouldn't really worry. I'd be more worried about overstocking :/

i keep sucking up strange round things when i do water changes and i dont know if they are eggs or what D: but when i see it imma either get java moss for them or a part of a morimi ball for them to maybe spawn in

i found out i have 2 males and 5 females
good chance of having babies
