An old boardgame made in conjunction with MB back in the early ninetees if not mistaken. Agis Neugebauer is actioning off his game along with some of the character modules. Pretty effing neat if you ask me, pity that it's so expensive.

Think heroquest and you are not far off.

If you're a new gamer (i.e. you haven't played Warhammer Quest) you need to go out and find yourself a copy; it's a brilliant game. We've been playing it over the summer holiday because we hadn't played it in ages, and we've been having great fun with it. Just avoid the newer characters, that they released about 5 years ago in Death Blow, as they're all broken (especially the Halfling Thief - I was playing one of them and he ended up at least one level ahead of everyone else and killing half the monsters himself. Only the equally broken Pit Fighter could keep up with him).

If you don't know what Warhammer Quest is then it's pretty much as Lt_Brookman described it - it came out after Heroquest, and bares more resemblance to Warhammer (about 4th Ed, I think) than that did. It's also a bit like D&D, only with more minis and less roleplaying, and you don't need a DM - there are random tables for everything.

The GW on-line store sells some of the old mini's, some of which still look damned good, especially the Witch Hunter, which they should touch up and re-sell as a permanent addition to the range.

I still have my warhammer quest ( ok so it's in abox a couple states away at the moment but yeah) it was really fun. I only had a couple of the extra charecters you could by for it though.

Made my own WHQ box.

I'll get to the expansions later~

I'm missing 3 minotaurs, but using poxy models for now (rat ogres), and the same with giant bats, but bought some bat swarms off from eBay so it'll drop in eventually!

I'm also in a group of people who will make a 3D version of the game, it'll be a lot of fun! And a complete monster-encounter pool as well~
