Its a gift item, if you go into your inventory and click on it it will ask you if you want to equip it, if you do it grants you a gift..... I personally find the prizes are cheap and nasty ... though I have heard it occasionally gives out a nice prize. I can never help myself with those things... I always have to know whats in it..... but besides the point, you can resell the trunk without opening it, you will probably get a better price for the trunk and not whats inside it.

yeah whenever I get them I just sell them, i opened a couple and I got 100-200 gold items, and it was selling for 5k...
