They met at her father's community ball. Everyone wore their fanciest dresses, petticoats, and suits. The ball was for her to meet a man to marry, and she did. They danced the night away, forgetting the world. A fire broke out, he rushed her outside of the castle to safety. Her true love's life ended when he went back into the fire to save her father.
Ever since that night she hasn't smiled, nor can she sleep. She dresses in all black to commemorate their deaths, even years later.
