January 25th

Verdandi: *sitting in the snow, making something*

Asphodel: -Tails swish around as he digs through a bush-

Verdandi: *hears something and looks around* Huh?

Asphodel: -Sniffs around as he continues to dig around. Ears flick as he looks up and spots Ver- Hey!

Verdandi: Hi Asphodel! =D *waves back* Digging? ^^

Asphodel: -Shakes the dirt from his fur- YEP!

Verdandi: Cool! *walks away from her snow sculpture in progress and goes to see the hole*

Asphodel: What were you building over there?

Verdandi: I was making a snow bunny. =3 Not quite done yet.

Asphodel: Aw, it sounds cute? Is it turning out good, since, well, we don't exactly have fingers?

Verdandi: It's turning out well. The ears are kinda hard to make though. xd

Asphodel: Do you need any help?

Verdandi: *smiles* Sure! ^^ Maybe an extra set of paws is just the help I need.

Asphodel: -Smiles- Okay! What do you want me to do?

Verdandi: Well, while I'm trying to figure out the ears, maybe you could work on the legs?

Asphodel: -Follows after Verdandi- Sure, I can do that. -Looks over the sculpture and tries to plan out the legs-

Verdandi: *looks at the scupture's head a bit, before gathering up some snow*

Asphodel: -Grabs some snow and starts working on the legs, his tails swishing happily-

Verdandi: -carefully starts using the snow to sculpt some ears laying down on the head, trying to make them look as realistic as possible*

Asphodel: -Turns and uses his tails to carefully dust off any loose snow, then turns back and lightly pats down the basic form of the legs-

Verdandi: *finished up the ears, looking them over before deciding that that's as good as they're going to get, and looks at Asphodel's work* Oh, those are really good, Asphodel. =D

Asphodel: -Blinks- Really?

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. =3

Asphodel: -Laughs nervously- Well, uh, thanks!

Verdandi: You're welcome. ^^ *looks at her snow ears* You know, you'd think that someone who actually had bunny ears would be better at making them out of snow than this. xd

Asphodel: -Smiles back- No problem Ver. -Tails dust along the snow top-

Verdandi: Want to do something else? =3

Asphodel: Sure! Any ideas?

Verdandi: Maybe we could go for a walk?

Asphodel: -Nods- That sounds nice. I know the path down there leads to the water fall, that one through the woods, and that one to the lake.

Verdandi: *thinks* The Waterfall sounds nice. ^^

Asphodel: -Bows down- Ladies first.

Verdandi: *smiles and starts to walk down the path Asphodel said led to the Waterfall*

Asphodel: -Quickly trots after her and smiles- Has anything new happened with you?

Verdandi: Not too much on my end. How about you? ^^

Asphodel: Eh, same old. Only difference is all the kits are now teens.

Verdandi: Really? We've got a kit at the house still, but I think she's gonna be growing pretty soon. ^^

Asphodel: I guess some grow up faster or slower then others do.

Verdandi: *nods* Very true. ^^

Asphodel: Sometimes I wish I could be young again just so I can do little things here and there.

Verdandi: Me too. *didn't have a very nice childhood* Though you can be young at heart all your life. =3

Asphodel: That's true. I don't really act as mature as I should be.

Verdandi: *laughs a little* I don't think there's really a standard on how mature one should act. You should be allowed to be yourself. ^^

Asphodel: Yeah, but you know, some say you should act like your age and not your shoe size

Verdandi: I think you're fine just the way you are. ^^

Asphodel: -Smiles- Thank you Ver.

Verdandi: You're welcome. ^^ *ears perk up a bit* I think we're getting close. =3

Asphodel: Ah, it's nice that it isn't cold enough to freeze a waterfall.

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. Though that would be interesting to see. ^^

Asphodel: Yeah, I suppose it would. All that ice would probably look beautiful.

Verdandi: *picture it* It would. ^^ Though Waterfalls are beautiful unfrozen too. =3

Asphodel: -Smiles as he sees the waterfall in the distance- Come on! -Darts off-

Verdandi: Okay! *dashes off after him toward the Waterfall*

Asphodel: -Laughs and skids to a halt by the lake edge-

Verdandi: *slows down as she gets closer, and sits down next to him, looking over at the Waterfall* The Waterfall's really pretty. ^^

Asphodel: -Looks around in awe- It really is...do you think it is warm enough to swim in?

Verdandi: *puts a paw in the water* Hmmm...just barely. =3

Asphodel: -Smiles and he backs away from the edge. Shakes himself loose, darts and jumps in to the lake- WHOO!

Verdandi: *laughs, and jumps in too* Yahoo! =D *swims around*

Asphodel: -Peeks out from the water surface and dives back in. Swims by Ver and lightly nudges her legs-

Verdandi: *feels something nudge her legs* Huh? *dives under to see who it is, smiling when she notices it was Asphodel* ^^ *swims off after him, almost as if to say "I'm gonna get you!" in a weird sort of underwater version of tag*

Asphodel: -Grins as he kicks to the surface-

Verdandi: *follows after him, surfacing to get some air* >3

Asphodel: Oh, why..hello there. -Grins an innocent smile as his hair sticks and covers his eyes-

Verdandi: Hello~ >3 *swim right up to him and gives him a peck on the cheek* ^^ *giggles and swims away*

Asphodel: -Blushes a red-orange as he floats still for a moment-..-Shakes his head and swims after Ver- Get back here!

Verdandi: *mischievously giggles* You gotta catch me first! >3 *swims away, but not so fast that he wouldn't be able to catch her*

Asphodel: I'll get you! -Starts to pick up the speed and gain some more by using his tails-

Verdandi: *giggles, and picks up the speed a tad*

Asphodel: -Pouts and dives back under the wonder and grabs at Ver's paws-

Verdandi: Whoa! *is tripped up and unable to swim* You got me! ^^ *giggles*

Asphodel: -Pops back up with a smug smirk- Ha! Caught you like I said I would! -Chuckles before giving her a peck on the cheek too-

Verdandi: *smiles at the peck on the cheek* Yep, you sure did! =3 *very happy at the moment*

Asphodel: -Swims in circles around Verdandi- Have you ever seen the movie Jaws?

Verdandi: *shakes her head* I haven't actually seen it, but I heard about it. It's the one about the killer shark, right?

Asphodel: -Nods- That's right. Kind of interesting.

Verdandi: Yeah, it did sound pretty interesting. ^^ I'd hate to be attacked by a shark though. It would be able to kill me for sure. Oo

Asphodel: -Chuckles- Well we are in a lake, so we are safe/

Verdandi: True. Or at least safe from saltwater sharks. =3

Asphodel: Hm...that's true...

Verdandi: *peeks underwater for a minute and surfaces again* Yep, we're safe. ^^

Asphodel: -Sighs- That's good... -Grins and pounces Ver-

Verdandi: *is pounced* Whoa! *was not expecting to be pounced*

Asphodel: -Hums the Jaws them as he swims around Ver- Dun dun...Dun dun..dun dun dun dun..

Verdandi: *watches as Asphodel circles her, helplessly trapped in the middle* Oh no! *playing along with the scene as best as she can*

Asphodel: -Roars as he leaps out of the water-

Verdandi: Ah! O_O *turns around as if to swim away, but is surely too late to save herself*

Asphodel: -Laughs and rolls around-

Verdandi: *turns around when she hears laughter and giggles* Aw, you're not chasing me! xd *treads water*

Asphodel: Yeah, just felt like playing around. I'm not a man eater.

Verdandi: Okay. ^^ *swims up closer to him* Well, glad to know you won't eat me. xd *knew he wouldn't eat her anyway*

Asphodel: -Laughs- Of course. Of course.

Verdandi: *smiles, and treads water as she thinks for a bit on what they should do now*

Asphodel: Should we get out?

Verdandi: Sure. It is getting a bit late. =3

Asphodel: -Nods and starts to swim towards the bank-

Verdandi: *swims alongside him toward the bank and gets out of the water, resisting the instinct to shake the water out of her fur*

Asphodel: -Looks like a drowned ten tailed cat when he crawls out-....

Verdandi: *smiles at Asphodel* Looks like you could use a towel or something. ^^

Asphodel: -Laughs and shakes the water off- Ah, the air will be my towel,

Verdandi: *giggles* Yeah, that'll work. xD *walks away a little bit and shakes the water off of her as well* Ah, much better. =3

Asphodel: -Looks like a poof ball down- owo

Verdandi: *pats down some of her own poofed fur, and looks over at Asphodel, smiling* Ah, the downside to that method- fur tends to poof up. xd

Asphodel: -Shakes himself again and waits for his fur to calm- Ah, yes, -chuckles- it is a poor poor downside, but I shall live,

Verdandi: *nods and walks over* So, shall we start heading back? =3

Asphodel: Sure, maybe the walk will dry us off.

Verdandi: Okay. ^^ *starts walking down the same path they got there from*

March 5th

Verdandi: *wanders into the clearing and looks around*

Asphodel: -Comes tumbling out of a bush, all curled up in a ball.

Verdandi: Hm? *spots a ball with 10 tails and familiar colors and wanders over* Hello Asphodel! =D

Asphodel: -Uncurls and lays on his back. Blinks and takes a moment to come to- ..Oh, hey Ver!

Verdandi: *smiles* How're you? ^^

Asphodel: I'm good. You?

Verdandi: Great. =) It's getting closer to Spring. ^^

Asphodel: -Nods and climbs on to his feet- Yeah, all the snow is almost gone anyway.

Verdandi: Happy for the warmer weather? Some of the namrah at the house are going to miss it.

Asphodel: -Nods- Yeah, I am. I really miss the warmer weather of spring and summer. I guess Winter isn't my season.

Verdandi: When I came to Namiah it was pretty warm too, so I'm happy to see that weather return. ^^

Asphodel: So, what have you been up to since we last met?

Verdandi: I've been pretty good. Missed you though. ^^ How about you?

Asphodel: -Blinks- You missed me?

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. =) Is that weird?

Asphodel: -Quickly shakes his head- Oh, no no. Just wondering.

Verdandi: Okay. ^^ So what would you like to do today?

Asphodel: Well..we can try going down to the beach?

Verdandi: Oooh, the beach sounds fun. =D

Asphodel: So I take it you want to go then?

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. ^^

Asphodel: Well then, Off we go!..once I find the direction from here...

Verdandi: *looks around* Is it this way? *points roughly in the right direction, maybe a tad or two off*

Asphodel: Hm...I think so. Only one way to find out. -Starts to pad off, but stops and looks to see is Ver is following-

Verdandi: Yep! *follows after, hoping that it's the right way* At least beaches are pretty big, so we're bound to find one if we're roughly in the right direction.

Asphodel: True, I hope we don't end up getting lost..

Verdandi: Should we mark the trail somehow so we can find the way back?

Asphodel: I suppose so. We could try scratching the bark of the trees, or..hm..I don't think a burn trail is good...

Verdandi: *shakes her head* No, not really. Not unless you have a way of putting out the fire. =3

Asphodel: Well I do..but I'm afraid I might not be able too.

Verdandi: *nods* Well, best not to risk the forest. ^^

Asphodel: -Chuckles- I suppose.

Verdandi: *goes over to a tree and leaves a little claw mark* Is this noticeable? =3

Asphodel: -Tilts his head- I think so. Hopefully we will remember the makes well enought to tek back. -Tails wag as he pads off again-

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. Though I don't think we'll get lost. Usually if I wander around long enough I can find my way to the clearing. =D

Asphodel: Really? That must be tiresome at times.

Verdandi: Sometimes. It depends on how long it takes for me to find the clearing. Occasionally if I'm gone too long Weilan will find me and lead me in the right direction before going off to track down Fiala who's lost almost daily. xD

Asphodel: Wow, my mother is always getting lost too. She really needs an escort or something since it worries me.

Verdandi: Maybe you could find her one? D= Do you have a flying namir at the house who could find her easily?

Asphodel: We do, but..she doesn't really know any of them.

Verdandi: Well, hopefully nothing happens to her. That would be awful. =( Though Namiah's pretty safe, so she'll probably be okay.

Asphodel: Me too, but..she always makes it back home, somehow..

Verdandi: Well, as long as she makes it home it's okay. *marks another tree* I wonder if she sees anything interesting while she wanders around.

Asphodel: I'm sure she does since she always seems happy and unphased at the thought of getting lost. -Ears perk at the scent of sea salt-

Verdandi: Smells like we're getting close. =D

Asphodel: Hehe, I bet I can beat you there.

Verdandi: *smirks mischievously* On the count of three?

Asphodel: Just give the count. -Grins-

Verdandi: 1.....2......3! *takes off at three, but not before, controlling herself to make it fair to the one not counting off*

Asphodel: -Grins and chases after Ver- Wait up!

Verdandi: *slows down a bit so Asphodel can catch up without risk of tripping*

Asphodel: -Runs up and catch up to her and smiles- I need..to work out more..

Verdandi: I like to go running through the woods for about half an hour

Asphodel: Well..if you want the company.. -shrugs-

Verdandi: You don't have to if you don't want to. =3

Asphodel: I don't mind, really.

Verdandi: Okay. ^^ I usually go to the clearing at about 12 o'clock in the afternoon to go running. =3 *walks out onto the sand, listening to the waves* The beach is so relaxing. ^^

Asphodel: -Pokes at the sand to test the temperature before following after Verdandi- I guess that depends on what kind of beach you are on and when.

Verdandi: It does? *never been at the beach during a storm*

Asphodel: -Nods- There are many kind of beach out there. Nude, polluted, crowded, ect. Stormy beaches are never nice... Plus..hot sand does not feel good on your paws.

Verdandi: True. I probably wouldn't want to be on a crowded or polluted beach, or on the beach during a storm. Hot sand's annoying too. *thinks* Since we're namrah, does that make this a nude beach? xD

Asphodel: Well...Human nude beach! They are scary! -nods and looks serious-

Verdandi: Nude humans are scary? Oo


Asphodel: From what I have seen on TV...YES!

Verdandi: Maybe I should avoid the TV then. I don't want to see something scary... Oo

Asphodel: Just stay away from the um...uh..erotica movies and such.

Verdandi: Oh, okay. =3

Asphodel: -Crouches down as he sneaks over to the incoming waves and paws at them-

Verdandi: *walks out next to him and touches the water* Brr...cold. xD

Asphodel: Do you think there are any fish in there?

Verdandi: Hmm...probably farther out to sea. =3

Asphodel: -Pouts- Well that sucks. The water is probably too cold to swim in anyway.

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah. *paws at the water some* I bet it'll warm up soon though. =)

Asphodel: Hah, the weather is getting warmer, so soon the sun will fully be out and everything will be green again.

Verdandi: *nods and thinks* I wonder if I can get Sara to go buy some baby carrots. =3

Asphodel: -Ears perk- Hey, do you know why they call red onions..red onions when they are purplish pink?

Verdandi: *thinks* Because it's shorter? xD I don't know, humans are strange sometimes.

Asphodel: Hm, that must really confuse the onions then...

Verdandi: *nods* Though I try not to think of what my fruits and vegetables think of or say while I'm eating them. Because then I wouldn't have anything left to eat. xD

Asphodel: I wonder how foodmir feel when they see people eating the food they are based on.

Verdandi: They probably look away. =3 Like how I would look away if someone was eating a rabbit.

March 19th

Verdandi: *wanders into the clearing*

Asphodel: -Watches the fish swimming around the lake and paws at them-

Verdandi: *walks over to the lake, thinking a swim sounded pretty nice, and spots Asphodel* Hello! =D

Asphodel: -Blinks and turns to Ver with a smile- Hey there Ver. What are you doing here?

Verdandi: I thought that a swim sounded pretty good. =3 How're you?

Asphodel: I'm fine. I'm just watching the fish and failing at catching one. -chuckles- I guess fishing isn't my thing.

Verdandi: *smiles* Yeah, they're kind of slippery. I've never been able to catch one. xD

Asphodel: Hm, I wonder how humans manage to catch them...

Verdandi: With a fishing pole usually. They trick the fish into being caught. =3

Asphodel: -Looks down at his paws-...Why must I lack fingers..

Verdandi: Maybe they should make a fishing pole for us non-anthros. That way we don't have to become an anthro to go fishing the way the humans do. ^^ Though if you wanted to become an anthro I'm sure you'd make a nice one.

Asphodel: I'm not so sure about that topic. I'm fine with the way I am now, and I'm not so sure if I would be able to...get used to it.

Verdandi: *nods* I don't think I'd want to be an anthro. I'm happy being just a normal namir. ^^ I still say they should make a fishing pole for us normals though. >3

Asphodel: Haha, I wonder what it would look like then. It would be odd to see something rebuilt for paws.

Verdandi: It'd probably look neat. =D It'd have to have something that'll reel something in just by you pulling something, and it'll have to be able to anchor itself ot the ground.

Asphodel: -Chuckles and shakes his head- So you came down here to swim?

Verdandi: *nods* Yep! =3 Want to go swimming with me? *slips into the water*

Asphodel: Uh.. O-okay -Paces a bit and then carefully slips in-

Verdandi: *swims around* Still a bit cold...I can't wait for mid-spring when it'll be warmer. =3

Asphodel: -Tries to keep his head above water and watches all the fish swim away- When is mid-spring?

Verdandi: Mid-spring? Oh, usally a month an a half into Spring. That's the time when it's warm without being too warm. ^^

Asphodel: Oh, I think I was born in Mid-Spring..or late Spring Early summer..I can't remember..

Verdandi: Do you remember which month it was?

Asphodel: Uh.. -Ears flicks as he thinks and mumbles out some months- March..April..May..June..July..JULY! I was born in July.

Verdandi: Oh, so that's mid-summer. =D *thinks* I came into Namiah in...June I think. *nods* Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was June.

Asphodel: Oh, so you came to Namiah a month before I was born? Interesting.

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah, pretty much. ^^ It's interesting?

Someone's having a rant-fest in GCD, and it almost seems sarcastic. xD

Asphodel: Yeah. It is just one of those small interesting things. Like..when the clock says 1:11 and it is November 11th. Or like..when the clock says 4:44/ 4:04 is it is 04/04/04.

Verdandi: Oooh, neat. =D Generally I miss those kinds of things though. Oo

Asphodel: You do? I tend to find them even when I'm not thinking about it.

Verdandi: Well, I guess it depends on the interesting thing. I really don't pay close attention to dates, though I'll learn interesting things about other stuff. For instance, did you know that rabbits aren't rodents? That's a common misconception. =3

Asphodel: Really? Then what are they?

Verdandi: I forget...I know the scientific name for them, but I can't think of what they're closest relation is. I know Sara said that she read somewhere that rabbits were more related to horses than rodents. =3

April 23rd

Alisa: *somewhere off with Asphodel*

Verdandi: *wanders into the clearing*

Asphodel: -Smiles down and gently pokes Alisa, his tails curled up around her to keep her warm and safe-

Alisa: *wiggles happily* ^^

Verdandi: *looks around and spots Asphodel* Hello. =D *waves*

Asphodel: -Ears perk as he looks up and spots Verdandi- Oh, hey Ver! How are you? -Chuckles at Alisa's wiggling- Are you happy?

Alisa: *wiggles as if saying yes*

Verdandi: I'm good. =D *wanders over and notices Alisa* Aw, an egg! ^^ Babysitting?

Asphodel: -Nods- Yes. She is my brother's child. Him and his fiance just had kids the other day, six to be exact.

Verdandi: 6? Wow. That's a lot. =)

Alisa: *rolls curiously over to Verdandi* ...?

Verdandi: Hello. ^^ *waves*

Alisa: *wiggles* =)

Asphodel: Yeah. It was a big suprise for them. -Pats Alisa- This little one is named Alisa. She seems to be a good girl so far.

Verdandi: I would imagine. xD *looks down at Alisa* Alisa, huh? That's a pretty name. ^^

Alisa: *happy, liking this "Ver" person* ^^

Asphodel: -Ears lightly flick around- It does have a certain ring to it. I wonder if it has any kind of meaning to it. I know I am named after a flower of some sort.

Verdandi: You are? =3 I'm named after the Norse siser of the present. ^^ Alisa probably means something. I'd have to go look it up.

Alisa: *rolls around a bit*

Asphodel: Yeah, but..I have no idea what the flower looks like. I've never seen an asphodel before. -Smiles as he watches Alisa- Don't get hurt now.

Verdandi: I haven't either. I bet it's pretty. Most flowers are. ^^

Alisa: *rolls around for a second longer before pausing to rest* ^^

June 4th

Verdandi: *wanders into the clearing*

Asphodel: -Is carefully trying to climb down from a tree, but ends up slipping and tumbling down in to a near by bush-

Verdandi: *hears someone fall into a bush and looks over* ...Asphodel? Are you alright? D= *wander over*

Asphodel: -Crawls out of the bush and shakes himself loose while coughing up some dirt and leaves- I-I think so. It was a nice adrenaline rush..I think..

Verdandi: *brushes off a couple of stubborn leaves from Asphodel* Well, I'm glad you're okay. =) So what were you trying to do? *guessing he was trying to climb the nearby tree*

Asphodel: -Smiles and ruffles his hair a bit- Thanks. Oh! I was trying catch a squirrel. He kind of..stole my berries.

Verdandi: Well that's not nice of him. xP It's not even Autumn or Winter. *looks up into the tree for the squirrel*

Asphodel: I guess he had someone to feed or couldn't find anything of his own? Either way, I don't like him.

Verdandi: *nods in agreement* Well, I think the berries are probably out of reach now. Maybe you could get some more? I know where some berry bushes are, and it's not too far from here.

Asphodel: -Ears perk as his tails wag around happily- Really? That would be great! Where are they?

Verdandi: *points* They're this way! =3 It's a bit of a walk, but it shouldn't take too long. ^^

Asphodel: Well I have nothing to really do, and it has been a while since we have seen eachother, so ONWARD WE GO!

Verdandi: Alright! >3 *starts walking in that direction* So how've you been?

Asphodel: I've been alright. My neices and nephews are teens now, and it is interesting to see them running around and such. How about you?

Verdandi: Teens already? Wow, kids grow up fast. =) I've been good. Not too much going on though.

Asphodel: -nods- Yeah, it seems like just the other day they were kits and before that eggs. I just hope one of them doesn't have a hormone overload or anything.

Verdandi: Yeah, being a hormonal teen probably wouldn't be much fun. xP I bet they're fine, and if not they'll get through it. ^^

Asphodel: Especially one who is love struck, but I don't think any of them have gotten there. Maybe I am just thinking too much in to it.

Verdandi: You might be, but there's nothing wrong with thinking. =) Do teens fall in love often? *thinks that usually adults are the ones who find love*

Asphodel: I don't think so, but they could always crush and be crushed on.

Verdandi: That's definitely true. And hopefully they won't get heartbroken if it winds up not working out.

Asphodel: Hopefully, but I haven't seen a heartbroken teen in Namiah yet, but there could have been one wandering around.

Verdandi: There could be. I haven't seen one either. Or at least not that I'm aware of...heartbroken adults are more common than teens. Probably because teens grow up so fast.

Asphodel: -Nods- True, plus some teens are more mature -smiles- Though I wasn't one of them.

Verdandi: I wasn't in Namiah during my teenhood. I remember it though. I...wasn't a very good teen. >.>;

Asphodel: Well..at least life is better for you in adulthood, right?
Nope, I will forget it...soon. XD

Verdandi: *nods* Yes, much better. ^^ I'm happy I came to Namiah, things are much better here.

Asphodel: Do you mind if I ask how so?

Verdandi: *shakes her head* When I was a kid my parents were killed by a demon...and somehow I managed to trap the demon in a mirror that I had. Thing is, even though I saved my own life, I was stuck with the demon. The mirror would follow me around, and talk to me. We...lived out in the middle of nowhere, so there wasn't much of anyone to talk to save for the demon. *skips part of her past she'd rather forget* Here, there was a demon who could remove my own demon, and I did so. And apparently it was for free, since he still hasn't talked to me about payment. So now I have friends and I'm free again. *smiles*

Asphodel: Wow, that sounds terrible, but it is good that you can have a happier life now and found someone to help you gain that.


Verdandi: *smiles* Yeah, I'm happy for that. =) *looks around, recognizing some landmarks* We should be getting close to the berry bushes now. ^^

Asphodel: -Ears perk as he jumps around like a sugar high child- Whoo! I can't wait! I can't wait!

Verdandi: *smiles, tail waving a couple times excitedly, and looks around* They should be right...Ah! There they are! =3 *points and goes over to them*

Asphodel: -Grins and trots on over to the bush to look the berries over- I..I don't know which one to eat first!

Verdandi: Hmmm...this looks like a good one. ^^ *picks the berry and offers it to Asphodel*

Asphodel: -Carefully takes the berry and pops in to his mouth. Ears flick around as he closes his eyes and sways a little- Mmm. That one was really sweet.

Verdandi: *smiles brightly* Yes, they are really good. ^^ *gaze lingers on Asphodel for a bit before going to get a berry for herself*

Asphodel: -Licks his paws and cleans any juices from his fur before grabbing another berry-

Verdandi: *nabs another berry* Berries are one of my favorite foods. They're almost as good as carrots. ^^

Asphodel: ... -Stuffs his mouth full of berries like a hamster- 'arrots? Oh~ 'at orage fing oo 'ike.

Verdandi: *giggles a little, finding that cute* Yes, that. ^^ You've never had one? *makes a mental note to bring him one next time if he says no*

Asphodel: -Shakes his head as he swallows a few of the berries in his mouth- No, ah dun 'hink so.

Verdandi: I'll have to get you one then. >3 They're good, or at least I think they are. ^^ They're not sweet like berries, but you'll see.

Asphodel: -Chews and swallows the rest of his "stash" and then cleans his fur once more- Do they have some kind of taste? Some of the vegetables I have tasted kind of taste like..I dunno.

Verdandi: *nods* They definitely have a taste. It's not like corn or other vegetables, it tastes different from them. *trying to figure out how to describe what a carrot tastes like* ...it's hard to describe what they taste like. They just...taste like carrots. xD

August 4th

Verdandi: *wanders into the clearing*

Asphodel: -Whistles while making his way out in to the clearing to see if he can find someone to chat with. His ears perk at the sight of Verdandi- V-Ver! -Quickly makes his way over-

Verdandi: *spots Asphodel* Hi Asphodel! =D How're you?

Asphodel: -Skids to a stop in front of Ver and smiles- Hello Ver. Long time no see. I think I have been fine. Been spending a lot of time with one of my nephews who moved in with me.

Verdandi: Yeah, it has been a while. I've missed you. =) So how have your nephews been doing?

Asphodel: -Smiles and chuckles- I've missing you too Ver, a lot. Well, I have been trying to teach him not to be so scared of being left alone..not working too well.

Verdandi: Really? Well, after growing up being surrounded by family I suppose being alone would be a bit strange.

Asphodel: Yeah, but I hope he makes progess soon, or else I fear he may never go out and live his life.

Verdandi: *nods* I hope so too. *thinks* Does he have some friends he talks to? *guessing that him having friends could possibly help with this fear of being alone*

Asphodel: I'm not sure. He is really shy, so he has a hard time talking to other and getting to know them.

Verdandi: That's a shame. Especially since there are a lot of really nice namrah in Namiah. D= Well, hopefully he'll be able to find some people to open up to if he hasn't already. ^^ Anyways...want to go for a walk?

Asphodel: -Scoots over to Ver and gently nuzzles her- You're so sweet Ver, you know that? I hope so too. Maybe I can get him to come out here at some point. -Blinks at the question and nods- Sure, I don't mind!

Verdandi: *smiles and nuzzles back a little* Aw, thanks. You're really sweet too. ^^ *thinks for a moment* Hmmm...want to go to the beach?

Asphodel: Oh, the beach. I don't think I have been down there in a..long time. Lets go! -Jumps up and bounces like a hyperactive kit-

Verdandi: Okay! ^^ *starts heading off down the path that will lead them to the beach* I wonder if it's high tide or low tide now.

Asphodel: Doesn't that all depend on the moon? At least that is what I heard from someone.

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah, that's what I heard too. =) And it differs too...I think they said it changes every six hours or so. Or maybe not. It's been a while since I've heard that.

Asphodel: Every six hours huh? I guess we won't know until we get there then since I can't count the time the moon goes by.

Verdandi: *nods* Yep. ^^ *thinks* I wonder if the moon's alignment affects how severe hurricanes and tropical storms are.

Asphodel: I'm not so sure. I guess it could since it involves the ocean and such. I don't think we have ever had any of those around here though.

Verdandi: True. Good thing too, since a hurricane wouldn't be very good. Thunderstorms are one thing, hurricanes are another.

Asphodel: I wonder why no hurricanes come around here though. Maybe we don't have the requirements or something.

Verdandi: Yeah, that's probably it. *nods* It never gets overly warm here, and I think hurricanes like warm places. There are probably some other factors too.

Asphodel: -Ears lightly flick when they pick up the faint sound of waves crashing on the beach- Oh! I think we are getting close! -His tails wag around excitedly as he grins happily-

Verdandi: *sniffs the air* I can smell it. We're definitely near. ^^ *can see the beach faintly between the trees*

Asphodel: -Just radiats with joy when the beach comes in to view. Quickly dashes towards the beach and dives in to the sand-

Verdandi: *also runs out to the beach with Asphodel, taking a seat beside him and looking around* I love the smell of the ocean. ^^ Hmm...is this high tide or low tide...

Asphodel: -Rolls around in the sand for a minute, then rolls back and looks up at Ver- Do you come down here often.

Verdandi: Not too often, actually. Usually about once every week or two. =)

Asphodel: Ah, I usually keep to the lakes to watch the fish or take a rare dip. A bit scared I might accidentally curse a poor fish or something.

Verdandi: Yeah, fish are fun to watch. ^^ I come here to listen to the ocean or maybe collect shells. *tilts her head, curious* Curse a fish?


Asphodel: -Nods as he sits up and dusts the sand from his fur- You know, it is sort of my "power". I got it from my mother, though I don't think she can do it, so it must have been a supressed gene. If someone yanks my tail with I don't want them to, or freaks me out I can curse them with bad luck for a certain amout of time.


Verdandi: Ah...kinda reminds me of my mirror, except without the demon. *nods understandingly* Yeah, it wouldn't be pleasant to accidently curse a fish for that.

Asphodel: Well I have been trying to learn to supress the power, so I think I am getting the hang of controlling who I want, and don't want to curse.

Verdandi: That's good. It'll be worth the effort when you do get control over it. =) *nods and suveys the beach* Hmmm...I think it's high tide, or maybe somewhere between. *guessing since the beach looks pretty "clean" rather than having things washed up on it*

Asphodel: Either way, the beach looks beautiful tonight, espcially with the moon so full and bright. Kind of gives off a calm atmosphere.

Verdandi: *smiles* Yeah. ^^ The beach is really beautiful at night, and you get a really clear view of the sky, and the waves contribute to the atmosphere.

Asphodel: -Chuckles and watches the waves crash against the shore- It kind of seems like something you would only find in a romance movie.

Verdandi: It does, doesn't it? ^^ I guess those movies base those scenes on reality. =3

Haha, have fun with that. Yeah, it is never fun watching certain movies alone.

Asphodel: Yeah, but luckily there is no one doing any sex scenes on the beach at the moment. I think that would take it too far.

Verdandi: Yeah, that would definitely be a bit much. xD I'd probably want to head to a different part of the beach if there was.

Asphodel: Haha, I would be right behind you on that one. I know love is love, but..certain actions of love are best left in a private area.

Verdandi: *nods* Agreed. Besides, I bet it would be embarrassing to get caught doing that. *thinks* Or maybe not. Depends on the person. I'd be embarrassed though.

Asphodel: Well some who is full of themselves or has nothing to hide wouldn't mind much. I think I would be a little embarrassed too. I don’t really think it is something to sort of..show off since it is supposed to be a private and loving act.

Verdandi: *nods* Right. And it's embarrassing for whoever catches them too, so not caring is a little inconsiderate.

Asphodel: Oh~ Just imagine how the person's partner would feel. Probably wanting to leave, but the other person doesn't care of want to.

Verdandi: Wow, I hadn't thought of that. It'd proabably be really awkward for them too, probably even more awkward than the ones who found them.

Asphodel: Well they will have something nice to fight about when they get home.

Verdandi: And hopefully they'll work things out and won't do that in a public area. =)

Asphodel: Hopefully, if they love each other and or the offender is willing to change that is.

Verdandi: I'd like to think that the offender can change, but I'm a bit optimistic about things like these. I know that it doesn't always work out so well.

Asphodel: Maybe. Everyone can change in some form and fashion at some point. Plus.. -scoots over to Ver and stares at Ver- Yep, you look innocent.

Verdandi: *smiles, laughing a little since he's right and probably knows that he's right* Yeah. ^^ You look innocent too. =)

Asphodel: -Smirks while fluffing up his tails- It's cause I'm so cute and fluffy~ Plus who can stay mad at these big brown eyes? -Bats his eyes a few times-

Verdandi: *laughs a bit more* /I/ certainly can't imagine staying mad at those big brown eyes. ^^ Though I have a hard time imagining you upsetting me in the first place.

Asphodel: -scoots close and innocently kisses Ver's cheek- I would never want to upset someone I care about, family or not.

Verdandi: *smiles when he kisses her cheek, blushing slightly* Thanks. ^^ I wouldn't want to upset you either. Wouldn't dream of it. =)

December 5th

Verdandi: *looking at the snow on the ground, wondering if she should make something* Hmm...

Asphodel: -Comes bounding through with a laugh and rolls around in the snow like a high happy dog-

Verdandi: *looks over* Hi Asphodel! =D *waves*

Asphodel: -Jumps up and looks around, snow piled on to his back and head. Grins- Hey there Ver! What are you doing out here?

Verdandi: I'm out enjoying the snow. ^^ It's like Winter officially started. =)

Asphodel: -Shakes the snow off- It is the first week of December, so it is to be expected. Though, when winter is over the island is going to be very..wet and muddy.

Verdandi: *nods* Wet, muddy, and still a bit on the cold side. At least the plants will soak up the water to grow for Spring. =3

Asphodel: You know.. -ears flick- I have never seen the flower I am named after before.

Verdandi: I wonder if they bloom on the island. We could go looking for one in Spring if they do.

Asphodel: -Smiles and nods- That sounds nice. It would be nice to see the thing I am named after. -Laughs- So, where you playing in the snow before I arrived?

Verdandi: *nods* I was thinking about making something. ^^ Not sure what to make though.

Asphodel: Hm, how about something simple like a snowman, or..snowmir?

Verdandi: That's work. *smiles* Want to build one together?

Asphodel: Sure! -Tails wag around as he grins- I guess we will need a rock for its nose and some sticks for ears.

Verdandi: *nods* Yep! Let's go get them before starting. ^^

Asphodel: ALRIGHT! Lets get the let out then! -Runs in one direction, the u-turns to another and then heads back again- ..Which way?

Verdandi: *points in a random direction* This way! ^^ *heads off*

Asphodel: Oh~ okay. -Holds his grin while following after Verdandi- You know, I feel sorry for all those fire pokemir and such who can't come out during the winter. It must be boring for them.

Verdandi: Fire Pokémir can't come out in Winter? That's kind of sad. D= Yes, it must be boring for them.

Asphodel: I believe so. Some might be able to, but others, I think the heat from their bodies, and if they have fire on them, would constantly melt the snow and keep them wet.

Verdandi: Huh. So I guess if any of them have exposed flames they'd have problems with that. But they wouldn't have to worry about freezing because the internal flame would prevent that. I don't think being wet would be pleasant for those who don't agree with it though. xP

Asphodel: True. I hope none of them get cabin fever or something during the winter months.

Verdandi: I hope they don't either. Wasn't there a book about that?

Asphodel: -Ears flick as he thinks- I..don't think so. Cabin fever is when you go insane from staying in a place too long, right?

Verdandi: *nods* Yeah, that's cabin fever. I think it's because you feel trapped, and if you run out of things you want to do you'll get aggravated without anything to really relieve it.

Asphodel: I wonder if fish in a tank feel that way at times..

Verdandi: All the time, I bet. xP Maybe that's why it's hard to keep them alive.

Asphodel: Must be why caged animals never live all that long unless you let them out every once and a while.

Verdandi: *nods, and spots something* Oh, a stick. =) *holds it up* Does this look good for a snowmir's ears? ^^

Asphodel: -Laughs and paws at the leaves hanging at the end of the stick- Looks good, ears , tuffs and all~

Verdandi: *smiles* Now we just need to track down a similar looking stick, and some pebbles. *looks around*

Asphodel: I think if we did under the snow we may be able to find some pebbles, especially since the snow hasn't turned in to a giant pill up yet. -Paws at the snow to see if he is right

Verdandi: Most likely. *nods and digs as well*

Asphodel: -Starts digging in a dog like manner, the snow piling up behind him as he continues to dig. His tails wag around in excitement when a couple of black pebbles appear- I struck gold! Or pebbles, but gold for the snowmir.

Verdandi: Awesome! =D Soon we'll be building that snowmir. ^^ *continues digging to come up with a 3rd pebble for the nose*

Asphodel: -Trots off a bit and cicles a few trees in search for a stick- Do you think we should give our snowmir a name?

Verdandi: Yeah! =D What sort of name should we give it? *moves over to another spot to dig, having not found any pebbles in hers*

Asphodel: -Pouts when he finds nothing and moves on to a new tree- I guess we should figure out if it will be a girl or a guy first.

Verdandi: It's a shame we can't flip a coin. xD

Asphodel: -Chuckles- We can flip a pebble?

Verdandi: That might work. =) We just have to note the differences between the two sides. *studies the pebbles* Hmm...this one has a spot on this side. Maybe we use this one?

Asphodel: -Nods as he grabs the pebble and tosses it in the air a few times- Shall we way the spot means male then?

Verdandi: Yes, spot means male. =3


Asphodel: Alright, lets see what the snow will give birth to! -Tosses the pebble in the air and watches as if flips through the air and then lands- ...We have a cold baby boy~

Verdandi: Aw, I'm sure he'll grow up to be a nice little snowmir. ^^

Asphodel: -Sniffles- Until the sun comes to melt him away until the next year.

Verdandi: They melt away so fast. =( But he'll get to travel far in that time. *find a black pebble in the hole she's digging* I found the last pebble. ^^

Asphodel: Cool! Now, -gets up and starts to walk around again- we just need to find that last -trips and face plants in the snow-

Verdandi: *blinks and offers a paw* You alright? =)

Asphodel: -Lips his head, a stick in his mouth- ..AH SWIG!

Verdandi: Hey, you found a stick. =) Or maybe the stick found you. It looks like a good one as well.

Asphodel: -Jumps to his feet and does a little dance- Yes, now that our shopping list is finished, lets be off! -darts off back to their original spot-

Verdandi: Yes! ^^ *follows after, stopping once they're in the clearing again*

Asphodel: -Yips and dives around in the snow- Huh..how do we make balls with paws?

Verdandi: Like this. ^^ *uses her paws to push together some snow, and then makes it abit more spherical by pushing it around carefully* It's slower without hands though.

Asphodel: -Scoots over and carefully watches Verdandi- Oh..Like this? -Tries to copy her and does well until he pressed to hard and the ball explodes- ...Oops.

Verdandi: It's okay, we just have to be careful. ^^ It'll be a bit easier once you get the hang of it.

Asphodel: -Pouts and tries once more- I hope so. I don't want to end up killing the guy before he is even made.

Verdandi: I'm sure you'll do fine. =) Snow's pretty durable too, so making a mistake won't hurt it much.You'll just need to fix it.

Asphodel: -Gently pats and tries to smooth out his lumped snowball- ... -Stares at it for a minute before throwing it at Verdandi-

Verdandi: *giggles* Hey! xD *rolls up another snowball and tosses it at Asphodel* >:3

Asphodel: -Tries to duck from the snowball, but winds up being hit anyway. -Laughing he runs off to hide behind a tree and make a new snowball- So you want to start a war, huh?

Verdandi: *giggles again and runs behind a tree as well* Well you threw the first strike. xD *rolls up another snowball*

Asphodel: -Starts to make a whole arsenal of snowballs- Yeah, well you answered the call of war with a retaliation!

Verdandi: True, a round of a who started it argument would be rather silly. *not bothering to build up a stock, and tosses one over playfully* ^^

Asphodel: -Uses his tail to sheild him from the snowball. Chuckling, he tosses his one of his own before vanishing behind the tree and in to some bushes to try and make his way over to the red female-

Verdandi: *hides behind the tree to dodge the snowball, making another one to toss at him* ...? *looks around* Where is he...?

Asphodel: -Holds back a laugh as he nears Ver and watches her in her confusion. Trying to edge closer he wings up stepping on a twig- ! -Ducks down to try and hide-

Verdandi: *looks over where the twig snapped, but doesn't spot him straight away* Hmm....

Asphodel: -Mentally curses himself, his tails starting to wag and flails around in a mix of excitment and nervousness-

Verdandi: *blinks at the tips of tails, and giggles as she tosses a snowball over*

Asphodel: -Yips when he is hit. Huffs, his cheeks puffed out, as he sits up- Hey!

Verdandi: *giggles* You're pretty good at hiding. =)

Asphodel: -Shakes the stray snow from his fur, smiles- Thanks! And you are good at spotting. -laughs-

Verdandi: I do my best! ^^ So, shall we resume making the as of yet unnamed male snowmir? =3

Asphodel: Sure! -Jumps over the bush and heads back out- I hope the base of the snowmir doesn't take too much time with how big some people make them.

Verdandi: I hope so too, though I wasn't really planning on making him really big. ^^

Asphodel: -Nods and starts gathering up come snow- I guess only Elders and anthros could take care of that easily.

Hopefully they get along. ^^ I want to get a bunny too. I just wonder if I can really have both a cat and a rabbit at the same time.

Verdandi: *nods* Yep, and unless we're going to go round one up we'd better keep things smaller.

Asphodel: -Packs his snow together and starts forming it in to a sphere- Too bad nameless can't be like frosty and come to life.

Verdandi: *does the same, making hers a bit smaller than Asphodel's* Yeah, that is a bit of a shame. =( Though if they did all come to life then there would be a whole bunch of them...and where would they go in the Spring?


Asphodel: ...To the mountain tops to hide until winter comes back?

Verdandi: True, that might work. ^^ Though they might ask us to not make anymore if it becomes really crowded up there.

Asphodel: -Whispers- But what if they learn to breed?


Verdandi: *blinks* That'd be interesting. Oo And they'd get overcrowded fast on the mountain. D=

Asphodel: Luckily they will be small people, so more of them can be stable up there?

Verdandi: *nods* Hm, yeah. =) I still think it'd get crowded after a while though.

Asphodel: -Smooth out his ball and smiles as he places it firm on the ground- Do you think the earth will ever be over crowded?

Verdandi: *thinks for a moment, smoothing outh her own ball* I think that the world goes through stages. Sometimes it's overcrowded and sometimes it's not. =) Usually if there's a problem, the world finds a way to fix it. Though that's not always a good thing for the species involved... *sets hers beside Asphodel's*

Asphodel: -Frowns, and nods. That must be why some places have more deaths than births at certain times, and why others have a drop in sex drive. Which gets weird when the goverment comes in for them and trys to..bribe them to have kids...

Verdandi: I'd hate it if someone tried to bribe me to have kids. D= If I'm going to have kids then I'm going to have them because I want them, or as a pleasant surprise with a mate. Not because someone else told me to. *wonders how to get her ball onto his, wondering if rolling it up there would work*

Asphodel: Some humans are just weird like that. And I wouldn't be suprised if some greedy person would take up the deal, but I would feel bad for the child if the parents neglected him or her cause they only did it for the prize of having him. -Stares at the snow balls- ..Should one of us hold on as the other tries to get them to stick, or..how do we..

Verdandi: *nods and thinks* Hmmm...I think that maybe one of us should hold onto the base while the other rolls the other ball up, and the one holding the base can make sure the one on the top doesn't fall off. Think that might work?

Asphodel: -Nods and holds his paws out, holding the base firm, but gently- Roll away!

Verdandi: *smiles and carefully rolls the snowball up the other one*
