So to explain it...(hoping someone actually reads)
surprised The demomans Grenade Launcher has gone through so many downgrades its actually normal to find the Stickies a better weapon
lets see the down grades
A.Lowered The grenade cap to half.
:/ I think this was exaggerated I DO think lowering the Stickies cap was smart because of the stickies spamming.
B.Lowering grenade launchers grenades from 6 to 4.
I don't mind it really would help with actually AIMING but Valve...really...Change the damn skins Don't be lazy.
C.Grenades wont explode on contact with an enemy after hitting a surface
I think this is like saying...Medic without uber charge,Snipers without chargeable shots,scouts without a second jump,pyros without a being able to burn people without initial touch,soldiers cant rocket jump and engineers without being able to upgrade buildings faster.
Small changes CAN differ a class a lot

I just think valve should tweak the grenade launcher a bit
The reason why people prefer stickies can just be awnsered with one word..."efficiency"
it has range,you know you will hit a target and not a game of chance anymore compared to the GL.

so my idea would be.
Delay stickies by 2 seconds
Give more nades to the GL
and Give it its old explosion on contact after bouncing off a surface.

I love the idea of more 'nades for the launcher.
The delay...not so much...but balance is balance right.
But the explosion after bouncing is debatable.
It could be rather very overpowered or useful.

Maybe a weapon whose specific purpose is to richoche off walls and ceiling and hit a target or building would remedy that. But I don't see it coming.

That was actually the grenade launchers main purpose.
a grenade launcher like that is BOUND to be in a game where you can rocket jump
If you watch meet the demoman you can see him use the bounce to kill a pyro

Yeah but imagine a 6 round gun, with a very powerful crit, and can ricochet off walls, floors, and ceiling, and explosive splash damage.
I can understand why they nerf the demo so much.

actually after the ricochet nerf they started to use stickies
I can live without with 2,lower crit chance,its splash isn't as big as people think its like 3 feet (in a ball form).
surprised but really would you rather have to fight people who have a gun that shoots 4 shots and bounces around and you can dodge because it might take them a little bit of skills to get the bounce right or people that fire bombs that explodes when they want and blow you up no matter what

the 6 rounds inst that big of a deal
but :c why not reskin.
reduce crit chance
my idea is to make it a weapon people will actually use not keep spamming to make people run away while they can actually use the other

First thats how it was before
second it really doesn't nade 2 moer nades per clip just more ammo
and last part people HARDLY use it because they rather use win bombs
and it would decrease spam because they would actually hit more targets

Heavy=Minigun spam
Soldier=Rocket spam
Pyro=Flame thrower spam
Medic=needle spam
and to what you just said...
Would you rather Lose about half your health or just melee the p***k?

The reason why the demoman in TFC and Fortress Forever had 6 grenades is because the nades where weaker.
It toke 1-2 For scouts 3-4 any other class.
I think they made more sense
