The lights blacked out during the countdown before returning back on to feature the silhouette of the Instant Classic at the stage. His back was turned, and his arms were extended out to either side as sparks erupted from the frame of the entrance. Turning about, Christian removed the hood from his head and stared a hole through Jed, who was already in the ring. After suffering his first pinfall loss at the hands of the new XCW Undisputed Champion, Christian was determined more than ever to get back to that spot on top of the XCW food chain--determined to get his rematch with Poisin. Heading up the steps at a corner of the ring, Cage ducked in under the top rope and moved over to a corner of the ring. Standing on the second turnbuckle, he raised the 'CC' gesture overhead, with a number of the fans in attendance following suit! Returning to the canvas, Cage walked to the opposite corner, pulling himself onto the second level of the turnbuckles and did the same, getting a nice reaction out of the crowd! Looking back over at Jed, Christian stepped down and began to remove his entrance attire, awaiting the bell to ring.
