Corabell walked through the melting snow of the meadow. She was happy that the weather was begining to warm up, but rather nervous to the fact that she was no longer going to blend in any more to her surroundings. She had pure white fur, aside from her hair.
Devi bounced through the meadow, bobbing his head and humming a tune. He wasn't sure where he was going, but just wandering around, looking for something to do. Then he spotted a white namir. She had bells around her and they sparkled slightly in the sun. He walked over to her and smiled, "Hey there!"
Corabell blinked as she was approached and addressed, then gave a soft smile and tilted her head. "Good afternoon."
Devi smiled in return. "How's it goin? I'm Devi!"
"My name is Corabell..." She gave a soft giggle. "It's nice to meet you Devi. What brings you out into the cold today?"
"Nice to meet you too Corabell! I'm just uh..." He looked around. "I'm just walking around I guess." ^^
"I see. It is quite a nice day to be walking around. The sun is begining to melt the snow finally."
Devi nodded, "Yeah yeah. Spring will be coming soon I guess."
"You wear some very interesting clothes, sir Devi."
Devi chuckled. "Sir Devi? You can just call me Devi! And uh...thanks I guess. You have some pretty bells there..."
Corabell laughed again, shifting the little peice of fabric that wrapped aroun her. "Thank you... I'm new here, so please forgive me if I'm not sure what to do...."
Devi chuckled again. "New huh? That's coo, don't worry bout it" ^^
Corabell smiled warmly to him. "Thanks... so what is it everyone does around here?"
"Well, I guess everyone kinda does their own thing. There's not specific thing we have to do." o.o
"Oh.. I see... so what would your thing be?"
He laughed. "My thing? Hm, music, keepin it real...stuff like that I guess" ^^; "You got a thing?
"I... honestly wouldn't know.... I'm sorry...." Her ears drooped a little.
"Oh, hey it's okay! No worries!" ^^ He smiled brightly.
She slowly looked up at him, her hair messing a little and getting in her face. "Oh, alright...."
"You can hang out with me if you wanna!" ^^
Her face immediatly brightened and she nodded. "I would really enjoy that!"
He smiled, glad to see her brighten up. "Awesome!" He bobbed his head as his theme song played in his head. He always had a song in his head. "I'm not doin too much, just walkin around and stuff..."
"Pardon for asking... but why are you bobbing your head?"
He laughed. "Got a song in my head. I was listening to music." he held up his iPod to show her.
She looked strangely at the iPod, curious as to what it was and how it could make music.
"Hm...you want to listen?" He asked her, as he noticed she looked curious.
"I just don't understand how such a small device could make music..."
"Hmm..." He tilted his head. "Well...that's technology baby!" He laughed. "Here, try it!" He gave her an ear piece and smiled.
Carefully, she fitted the strange peice into her ear, blinking, wondering what to expect.

Corabell nearly jumped out of her skin in surprise, but she couldn't help but keep listening to the music.
Devi chuckled softly. "Is it too loud?"
"N-no! It's amazing!" Her head began to bob a little as she listened to it.
Devi smiled brightly. "Glad you like it!" 8D
She smiled and wagged her tail a bit. "Is there more of this?"
"Yeah yeah! Hold on a sec." He shuffled through the music for another song. Devi found a song he liked and played it. "Here, it's by the same band." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J5TPXUrj-0
Cora's tail continued to wag a little more. "They have very good music..."
Devi smiled and bobbed his head and wagged his tail too. "Yeah, I like them!" He looked through his music some more for some other good stuff.
She watched him as he focused on shuffling through music, then she peered over his shoulder.

"This music... this is so adicting. Do all devices have the same songs on them?"
Devi laughed. "No...there's all kinds of different types of music."
"Really?" She looked at him, wanting to know more.
"yeah yeah...like...soft stuff...heavy stuff...up beat stuff...sad stuff...all kinds. Uh, they are usually in genres. Like...Rock, punk, metal, hip hop...stuff like that."
"I see... what genre do you like?"
"I like upbeat stuff like this! Rock and alternative, some popular stuff."
Cora nodded her head. "I like it too... it's kinda funny listening to some of the words though."
He cuckled. "Yeah yeah...some of the words are pretty funny. Some lyrics some people think are funny, while others might find them offensive...these lyrics are pretty good though." He smiled.
Cora loked up to him and smiled warmly. "It certainly is good music though."
"Yep! It can put you in a good mood when you're feeling down. Ya just gotta listen to something happy."
She laughed a little. "For certain.... Thank you for sharing this with me, Devi."
"You're welcome! My pleasure!"
"Perhaps... Devi would be my friend? I haven't had any to far, since I'm still so new here..."
He grinned and nodded his head. "Yeah! I'd like that!"
"You should come to the clearing sometime and hang out! Lots of Namrah hang out there all the time!"
"I don't... do well with numerous Namrah.... One or two others I can handle, but I dislike large groups...."
"Oh...well there's places where not many gather around. I mean, you can still have privacy there too. But it's a nice place also to meet new namrah and stuff."
"I... I suppose...." She looked down, feeling rather silly. She just didn't do well around a lot of other people. It was just how she was.
"Hey, it's cool, there's other places to hang out!" He chuckled softly. "You don't gotta go to the clearing if you dun wanna."
She looked up at him and smiled softly. "I'm.. sorry, I really am just afraid of large crowds..."
"It's alright, no big deal." he smiled warmly, wishing she'd brighten up again.
Cora fiddled with the end of the fabric that wrapped around her. "Will... I get to see you again if I don't go to the clearing?"
"Of course!" He said. "We can meet up here whenever you want to!" ^^
"I... I would really like that... if that's ok, I mean...."
He smiled and patted her on the shoulder lightly. "Yeah yeah. I'd like that too." ^^
"Really?" She perked up, looking at him, blinking a little.
He tilted his head, wondering why she was surprised. But he was happy to see her perk up a little. "Yeah...you're neat." he smiled.
"I...I... thank you..." She smiled warmly back to him. "You're really fun to hang out with as well, Devi."
He grinned widely. "Thanks! I try..." ^^
"Well, you certainly succeeded this time around."
He chuckled. "Well...that's good..."
"So what else were you planning on doing today? is it alright if I accompany you?"
"I don't have any plans, so lets plan something together!"
"Oh! Ok....." She smiled softly. "What would you like to do?"
He thought for a moment. "Hmm....I dunno, you got any ideas?"
"I... don't really know the area.. so perhaps you could show me around?"
"Yep! Let's go!" He stepped forward, a happy bounce to his walk and started to walk along the edge of the forest.
Corabell quickly did her best to keep stride with him.
Devi made sure to keep pace with her. "That's the forest. It's big, and comes out at the beach if you walk straight through! And east of here is the great river, we're headed that way now. And if you go back the way we came you'll come to another beach. And the other half of the island, across the great river is mostly mountain and desert."
Cora nodded her head, listening to him and imagening where all the places went to on the island. "I see...."
Soon they came to a small river. "This isn't the great river. The Great River has many small ones flowing out of it."
