Ugh. Flopping down onto the sandy ground below her, Kipepo groaned a little, blinking her steel-gray eyes sleepily. Exploring was definitely not for her. She knew where she'd come from - it wasn't a case of that she was lost or anything. More than she was lazy, and didn't enjoy walking. And had only just discovered this, after a good wander from her home. Now she had to get all the way back again.
Deciding that home could wait for a while, Kipepo slowly pushed herself to her feet, turning her gaze in each direction, in search of something interesting. A drink of water might be good. Suddenly, however, the wind changed. A with it came a smell...a strange smell. One the cheetah cub hadn't smelt before where she liked, in the jungle. It was the smell of cats...big cats. And a lot of them. Thoughts flashed through the young seer's mind of what her mother had told her - about these things called prides, with lots of lions in them. Like a big family. Was that what it was? Curiousity seemed to get the better of the cub as she slowly began to travel in the direction of the smell, unaware that it was Firekin territory was she heading towards.

Jiwe often wandered away from his family's den, especially when he was in moods like this. These moods usually happened when he'd lost a challenge of some sort. Which... happened often.
The cub kicked at small pebbles and rocks, his head bent low in brooding embarassment. He didn't like being the worst at something- or even the second. Yet his brothers always seemed to out do him... Heck, almost everyone seemed to out do him. Sure, he made excuses left and right, but in the end he knew... He just wasn't good enough.
With a huff he climbed up over a large boulder. Maybe he could get a better view of the lands... He'd never been this far out, and even though he was brooding, he was still curious.
It probably would have worked well... If his large paws hadn't slipped on the rocks. He tumbled down the boulder and... continued. There was a slope, so he continued rolling down the rocky hillside until he landed with a flop on... Something warm and fuzzy.

It was with a loud yelp that Kipepo's legs gave way, mostly due to the large red mass of fur and bones and...organs and stuff that landed on top of her. Panic was the first thought to reach her, and with a loud yowl she lashed out with her claws, shoving roughly at Jiwe in an attempt to kick him off, claws only partially sheathed incase scratching was needed. After one particularly hard kick, however, she realized that it was a cub - a cub about the same age as her. Pausing, a frown crossed her expression, Kipepo wriggling out from underneath the lion and standing beside him, watching him rather sulkily.
"That HURT!" she spoke, pouting as she glared at the male, clearly expecting him to apologize.
