You'll never believe what happened to me on Friday!
It was an average school day, yada yada yada, when I go to History. Then my teacher (a Whovian too!) shows me a book from '85 he got from a garage sale! "The TARDIS Inside Out" by JNT, and so I read a bit, then give it back, and he says I could keep it! Love it!
It's a good, but short book, gives a good behind the scenes of Doctor Who at the time, with lovely artwork! That really made my weekend! mrgreen
Just felt like sharing that!
So happy! mrgreen
btw has anyone else read this, I'd like to hear their opinions!

I remember hearing that title & might have seen it in a store, but I don't have it. I do have Gary Downie's Doctor Who Cookbook from 1985, though. mrgreen

Oooh, lucky! I've got a few old Target books & my dad says he has maybe 7-10 in the garage somewhere from college, but that's about it. smile (isn't complaining)

I saw the Doctor Who Confidential about the legacy of the Doctor and the actors.. they showed a clip from right where I was at in the book. mrgreen

The old non-fiction ones are pretty hard to come by, though. They weren't really common in bookstores even back then.

I have the Doctor Who Technical Manual from 1983! smile I was lucky enough to find a copy in real good shape years after I had first discovered it at my old HS library.
Has complete instructions on how to build your own TARDIS out and of paper and cardboard. rofl

I am so happy for you, even though I have never read a Doctor Who book! Your teacher is so cool biggrin You could possibly remember him for the rest of your life if you still like Doctor Who when you are at 60 to 70! You can pass that book to your grandkids heart
