Dawn Mountains
The Dawn Mountains are the home of the Wind Clan dragons and the griffons that they protect. There are some plants that grow on the mountain, but they are usually hardy grasses and shrubs. This mountain range is home to mountain goats, which the dragons and griffons like to hunt. In the Tranquil Valley to the north, herds of buffalo roam which dragons may feed on when they need greater sustenance. The Wind Clan nests on the high mountain cliffs, out of the reach of most dangers. The areas between one mountain and another have powerful wind tunnels that are difficult to fly through, unless of course you're a Wind Clan dragon.
