Oooooh how cold it was!

Porsche shuddered as she walked along a frozen trail. She felt unsteady and uncomfortable as she moved since the ground was deceiving and white. Ice and snow kept appearing everywhere she went and the memories of spring and summer felt far far away. Every day she hoped that a warm front would somehow make an appearance through the land. But sadly each day was filled with a familiar chill that never seemed to vanish or disappear.

Despite the revolting weather Porsche refused to keep her attitude down. She knew with time her favorite seasons would appear again, but for now she'd keep on hoping and remembering the memories she had of the warm and sunny days.

The trail she walked along was barren and dark, and her instinct was the turn around and find a new place to walk. When she stopped herself to examine the forest she was in, she wrinkled her nose and realized she was lost. It was common for her to get carried away in her travels, and with a sigh she decided to move forward and hope that she would make it SOMEWHERE by the end of the day. So, for now she kept walking forward and imagining that the landscape around her was full of life, rather then cold and grey!

The stallion appearing in front of her was very surprising, but Porsche wasn't complaining! Quite oppositely, she smiled as she stared in awe at his own appearance. He was also a flutter, and his colors were as vibrant as hers! How exciting! And, he had asked her a question? Maybe he was as chatty and friendly as she was!

"Oh hello!" she then said, while watching as he came closer. It really was interesting- he was much bluer then her pinker tones. But he was just as bright and unique as her. "And the river? Well..." she lowered her ears then and shuddered with a grin. "I'm afraid I'm lost! But maybe we can find the river together?" Hmm, was the stallion also lost? Maybe it was a flutter trait or something!

She hoped that he'd like that idea. Maybe the two of them working together would get them somewhere at least? "I'm Porsche by the way! What is your name?" as she asked the question, she continued to stare at the stallion's wings. How beautiful they were!

So he was called Raedyn? What a lovely name. She bowed lightly after he introduced himself and acknowledged that she would remember it well. She did feel sort of bad that he was so lost, so she decided to take advantage of the situation to cheer her new friend up. "Well don't worry, it's easy to get lost! And hey, if we hadn't of gotten lost in the first place we couldn't have met like this." Porsche believed that every circumstance had great meaning, so she was thankful that she had wandered around that morning.

"I usually spend my days exploring, but today I think I went a bit too far off." she looked from side to side and noticed how unfamiliar the area was. "But you know, if we start to head onward I'm sure we'll find something that looks familiar. We just have to enjoy ourselves along the way!" And she would make sure that the both of them would! Bringing fun and cheer into any situation was her favorite hobby, and she knew she could be great company for her new traveling companion.

The cold was indeed awful and Porsche shuddered in a natural response. She hoped that spring would arrive soon, her wings couldn't take the frost anymore! "Well, we might do some exploring today without even realizing it." she then admitted with a bright smile. "Sometimes being lost is the best way to experience and see new things." And, having a companion made it all the more fun. She hoped that eventually she'd head Raedyn in the right direction. But at this moment Porsche really couldn't tell where they were.

When he made a suggestion for which direction to head, she could only giggle at his confusion. "Ok, let's go that way!" she nosed towards the south and walked forward to bring Raedyn along with her. When they were walking and on the trail, she bounced her hair happily and gleed that they were off and moving. "So, tell me more about yourself, Raedyn! What kind of things do you like to do for fun?" There was so much to learn about this stallion, and Porsche couldn't wait to hear what he had to say.

She giggled at his response while trying to think of her own answer to the question. Raedyn was indeed right- it seemed like everyone was trying to just stay warm and safe in the colder seasons. But Porsche still found ways to keep herself entertained and busy. That was just her way she supposed! "Well, I spend a lot of time with my family! And I usually try and drag my siblings out on the ice to go ice skating with me. We aren't very good, though." she then admitted, with a light nod.

Doing little things with her siblings kept them tight-knit and close overall. She loved every opportunity she could get to spend time with them. "When the wind isn't too bad I also like jumping around in the snow." she then added, while watching the trail ahead of them. "And, lastly I like meeting new people! Like you today!" Hehe, she was a lucky girl indeed!

"Have you met a lot of others in this land?" she then asked, while glancing at him with a usual grin. "There are a lot of interesting creatures here-Plus with your personality I'm sure you'll make lots of friends!"

She was puzzled by his question, and in response she could only giggle lightly. It took her a moment to think about a proper answer! "Well, I do believe there is a fairly large flutter population. When it comes to running in to one another... who really knows! Sometimes I think some of it can be nature while other times I think good old luck comes into play." She flapped her own wings as she considered his question further and wondered how it was that she always seemed to run in to flutters. Could it be destiny? Meh, who knew!

"Oh I have a large family, there are six of us children to keep our mother and father busy." she nodded lightly while missing them dearly through her speech. "At this moment in time I have no idea if any grandchildren have come into play, but I know with time such a thing will occur." she then glanced at him lightly and tilted her head once again.

"How about you? Got a mother and father of your own?" She had met quite a few Soquili that hadn't, and she didn't find that strange or weird. It was just life! "The nice thing about this land is that Soquili come from all different backgrounds- some even being mysterious!" And hey- those were mysteries that could be solved even with time and patience.

Oh my! Him not remembering these things sounded rather shocking for Porsche. She couldn't imagine not knowing or thinking about such manners as constantly as she did. But then again, everybody had their own quirks and personalities in life. If this was the way Raedyn had to live his life, then Porsche could understand that hardship. And, maybe it was easier for him not to really consider it that much?

"I don't think that makes you mysterious." she then added, while glancing forward with a calm disposition. "Sometimes things happen that we cannot explain. If anything with my situation in comparison to yours, I'd say I am very spoiled." She felt sort of bad for brining the whole family thing up. She didn't meant to make him dwell on an issue that may have been difficult for him!

At his very wise and comforting statement, she could only beam up again and remove any unsettling thoughts. "Yes, that is very true! It seems you have a great appreciation for the memories we are creating even now!" She closed her eyes then and tried to quietly take in everything around her. "Ok, I think I have this current memory all set." And thank goodness for that. "You must be very wise. Or at least, from what you've said I think that!"

Indeed, her family was special to her! She was thankful to hear that she didn't come off as spoiled at least. She always wondered how others read her. But, so far Raedyn was proving that there wasn't a problem! "Haha, well of course you are wise. You seem very comfortable in your own skin. I like that! I try to live my life in a similar way, you know? We flutters need to have fun and put ourselves out there as the best breed ever!" Well, she wasn't that obsessed, but it was fun to play around!

When he spoke of his enjoyment with memories, she wanted to copy him and appreciate them in the same way. "If you are this considerate with memories then your brain must be very big!" No wonder he was so wise! "I'm sure you have all sorts of things to remember- and soon you'll have even more with the many soquili you meet."

There were a LOT of soquili in the land... would Raedyn be able to memorize them all? She certainly believed it so! If he was as accomplished as he seemed, then he'd certainly gain more memories as times went on.
