Crystal Meadows
Crystal Meadows is a large open plain with plenty of wildlife roaming about. This is where the Light Clan and the unicorns live. Spotted about the meadow are large crystal outcroppings. The Light Clan makes its home in caves formed in these outcroppings. The meadow will often take on the look of different colors due to sunlight and moonlight bouncing off and being refracted by the crystals.
The Crystal Meadows are bordered at the north by the Tranquil Valley and to the south by the Baliho Swamp. It stretches all the way from the Calesto Hotsprings in the east to the Lightning River in the west.

Zaria snorted, lying on her stomach. The black dragon had just woken, after hardly sleeping at all the night before. From inside the cave where she sat, she could see a white unicorn lying in the grass. Such a small, majestic creature... she sighed in her head, rolling onto her back. Zaria's pitch black eyes stared out at the unicorn, wishing she was as free as it. Rolling over, yet again, she crawled towards the opening in the cave, poking her head outside. The sunlight bothered her, this early in the morning.
Ah... she sighed, focusing on pulling shadows around her. Once she had, she looked around outside, seeing no other dragons awake. They must still be sleeping, Zaria hissed in her head. Why hadn't she left yet? She didn't know. The dragon had lived there all her life, and never seen outside their territory. The life of a Rogue mustn't be that bad, the thought echoed in her mind.

Norgad landed in the middle of the Crystal Meadows, near an outcropping of crystals. "Attor, are you in there? We need to talk."

Zaria looked up, hearing her leader's name being called. She knew he was still asleep, so she pulled herself from her cave. She saw it was Norgad, the leader of the Fire dragons. Crawling quickly over to him, she bowed her head. "Ah, hello Norgad. I'm afraid Attor is still sleeping," she apologized, still in a bow. It was strange for her to bow to a Clan leader, especially since it wasn't hers. Maybe she was afraid? She didn't really know. As she stood there, the shadows slowly caught up with Zaria, still under her control. She flapped her wings, the shadows moved forward around Norgad, shading him out of courtesy. The Fire dragon leader must've scared her. She wasn't rebelling, like normal. If it had been the Earth leader, or Wind leader, she probably would have told them to get lost, that Attor wasn't awake yet, and that Zaria would give him the message. Only to not. 'My lord... she sighed in her head.

Oh, blast... what was this one's name? Zirnia? Zora? Zaria? Ooh, that one.
"Ah, why good morning, young mistress Zaria. I'm sorry to hear that. If it's all right with you, I'll just wait over here until your elder wakes. No need to shade me, though... I rather enjoy the heat of the sun."
How very irritating. How am I supposed to act humble when her head is bowed?! Norgad thought to himself as he settled himself down a few yards away from the cave entrance.
"But enough about my needs, how have you been faring?"

"Oh, of course you do. It's a habit to shade whomever I speak to," Zaria pulled the shade back around just herself and straightened up. "I've been quite fine, trying not to get kicked out, as usual," she let out a chuckled and lied down in the field, "I'm sure Attor will be glad to see you, even if you bear bad news. Zaria yawned and let her head fall onto her forelegs.

Ryuumei came into the picture from behind some trees and walking on his hind legs. He quickly noticed Norgad, and then saw Zaria as well. Ryuu announced to the two, "Hey you two, is there something going on?" He used his tail to reach up and scratch his head.

Norgad bowed his head slightly at Ryuu's entrance, quickly straightening himself. "Oh, nothing special. I just have some inter-clan business I need to attend to with Attor."
Preparing alliances in case of an attack by the water clan, devising battle plans, y'know, the little things. If this is another wild goose chase, I swear I'll rip Raze's wings off, Norgad thought to himself, as he smiled sublimely at Ryuu.

Zaria nodded in Ryuu's direction, rolling over in the grass. The shadows around her went up as a black-tinted wall around her. Zaria yawned again, her black skin blending in with her shadows.

Ryuumei's thoughts came in order and alliance was the first to mind. He thought to himself, An alliance with the fire clan could be devastating power against the other clans.
Ryuu said to Norgad, "If your thinking of an alliance, then your thinking great things. If so, then I will make sure of it that Attor will accept such a glorious offer." He then looked up and to the right a little bit to see if he could see Attor or his cave.

Norgad chuckled softly, "Well, I'm glad to hear the Fire Clan has at least one ally, but hopefully neither of our clans will have to rely on help for defense any time soon. That being said, I'd gladly have you on my side of a fight any day of the week."

Ryuumei smiled slightly and said, "Thank you. I didn't know my assistance was valued that much, especially from a clan leader. Anyways, I bet Zaria would be an ally as well."
Ryuu looked back to Norgad, and then he looked around to see if any unicorns or anything were around.

"Yes, I suppose I would be," Zaria agreed and stood. 'It's either that, or be kicked out, most likely.' she thought as she approached the two. That was the last thing Zaria needed at the moment, to become a Rogue, to have no clan or 'family'. Her shadows dropped, the sun beating down on her black skin. Her shadows were mainly used to cool herself down.

Attor was awoken by the light of the sun shining down through the crystal cave, breaking into colors and casting a rainbow light about the inside of his abode. He snorted once and got to his feet quickly, apparently knocking Bindy off of him.
The baby dragon rolled against a near wall of the cave and blinked up at him with sleepy eyes. The rainbows danced along her white scales as the clan leader looked down at her and snorted again. So much for good mornings! But it was Bindy's own fault if she decides to sleep in my cavern every night.
He made his was out of the cave only to meet a group of his clan members surrounding the Fire Clan Leader. Politeness was usually called for when dealing with other clans. Good manners and tact could get one a long way. Except that Attor had only just woke up, and Norgad was in his territory. "Norgad! What a surprise to see you! Only you would be brave enough to disturb me at the crack of...noon. I guess I slept a little later than I thought. But nevermind, what brings you in out here today?"
Just then, Bindy made her way out of the cave as well, coming at a run (because like most children, she almost never walked). She ran between Attor's feet into the open space between the clan leaders. "Mornin' Attor, mornin' Zaria, mornin' Ryuumei!," she cried happily then stared at Norgad for a long time before chirping, "Mornin' Red!"
Bindy didn't know the clan leaders other than her own. Nor had she ever seen a fire dragon. Regardless however, her remark brought a quick touch of annoyance to Attor. Worse yet, the trouble with eggs is that they could come from anywhere. Thus he had no parents to blame the hatchling's behavior on. So he did the next easiest thing and ditched her on Zaria.
"Here Zaria," Attor said, quickly shoving Bindy in Zaria's direction. "You...make this go away for a moment."

Zaria rolled her eyes and nudged the small dragon with her head. "Come on, Bindy. Lets go play with my shadows," she offered and pushed Bindy with her head, away from the clan leaders. Zaria sat down and created a ball of shadows, the tip of her tail swinging in circles. She ball floated in front of Bindy.
