Aylee&Kunny image here! A young girl and her twin brother are dressed in Mermaid costumes and sitting on a rock in the middle of the Foyer, although they seem to have taken it a step further and become a 'mer-Maid' and 'mer-Butler'. Upon closer inspection you realize that their tails aren't a costume! They're really merpeople! As you approach, the girl turns to you and smiles, "Welcome to the Shiroko Estate! My name is Aylee, and this is my brother Kunny. The mansion has been set up with a Halloween theme. In the left wing you'll find the trick-or-treating, staffed by many of the family and a few volunteers, and the right wing you will find the haunted house! Well. Or you will. It's not complete yet." At this she looks a little miffed, but continues, "On the third floor is the ballroom, set up with many a treat for you, as well as some games and the like. In a nearby hall there's a pumpkin carving contest for non-protectors. "Beware of the little... gnomes running and flying around the house today! They seem to have made it their mission to attack people wandering around the mansion. Uhm. Be careful not to hurt them, please. Unless they try to take out your eye or something and then feel free to smack them into a wall. "And then there might be a few traps around the mansion, as well. Two of my children have been rather... mischevious as of recent. So be careful!"

Rune entered with a grin, Yvette cradled in one arm and her staff in the other. She'd decided to go in her formal wear as a Duchess of the Tavrill family; for one thing, it fit. For another, she could move well in it, and she happened to like the look, though she'd never wear it often. Elegant breeches, embroidered boots, a woven silver chain belt with fringed ends, and a gauzy blouse with long, bell-like sleeves were topped off with a silver circlet and fluffy white wings.
Yvette, on the other hand, had very firmly insisted on going as a Ki-Rin with a Tenjutsu takrai. A small, backward-curving silver horn had been set in the center of her forehead, a horse tail attached to her little bottom and furry ears over her real ones. A suit of glistening pearly scales - tanktop and shorts - were the bulk of her clothes, while sleeves and leggings of fur the same color as the ears and tail made the illusion of her pelt. Her fingernails were painted silver, with silver shoes to match. A small blue cloth band with a metal plate - etched with the runic symbol for water - was tied around her neck as a final touch. Her eyes were wide, head twisting this way and that so her matchingly-dyed hair swished. This place was AWESOME!

Aylee grinned as someone entered, "Irassha--" and is promptly whacked by Kunny on the back of the head. "What was THAT for?"
"You're already forcing me into this stupid costume. You speak Japanese around me and you WILL get hit," snapped her brother, glaring. He clearly wasn't happy with the situation, and in fact looked extrordinarily pissed off.
"Fine, fine. Yeesh!" Aylee stuck her tongue out at him and turned to Rune, "Hiiii! Welcome!" A grin spead across her face, "Are you here for the Halloween event?" Stupid question.

Rune grinned at Aylee. "Konbanwa." She replied in Japanese, eyes teasing. "Yup, we're here for the event. Don't think we've formally met. I'm Rune - this is Yvette, Zucchini element." She ruffled the infant's hair fondly. "Nikki and Dray are my daughters, I think they're helping somewhere upstairs. And Ri -"
She turned, surprised, then frowned and glared at the door. "Riku, get your butt in here. You're already supposed to be upstairs, but at least you can introduce yourself!"
"In this thing?" Came a young male voice from outside. "Not bloody likely."

How long had it been? One hour? Two, maybe? The lamb Sin glared down at his glass sword. Even this thing couldn't keep his attention for that long--it was perfect. There was nothing more to be done. After lazily running his thumb over the blade--it came away bleeding somewhat, but he didn't mind; that meant it was sharp--he carefully slipped the sword into his belt and climbed to his feet, adjusting his hat. Lyrus was tired of sitting infront of the bloody mansion waiting for the bloody Halloween thing to bloody begin.
So he went inside. Or would have had not Riku been standing in his way.
"Get out of the ******** way, a*****e." Glareglare. So much for a cheery start to the night.

(For the sake of sanity until I find his picture in my sketchbooks, he does look like Riku from Kingdom Hearts, though with slightly spikier hair. And he's dressed in the dark Keyblade master's outfit, 'cause Rune's cousin made him. xd )
Riku turned and glanced down slightly to see who was talking to him. A little kid with a sword? Big deal. Probably one of those kids inside, though this one seemed to have a big mouth. Ri had told him to be polite while he was in the mansion, not in Gaia - and as far as he was concerned, he wasn't inside yet. The kid could keep his whining to himself. With a fake grin on his face, the fourteen-year-old leaned back a bit and eyed this new challenge mockingly.
"Bite me, little boy. You can get around fine, your head's not that big."

They were a little late in showing up, Sasarai had wanted to get there early of course so that he could track down his brother, figure out what all he had vollenteered for when he said he would help out in this event, he had to lose the hat he was wearing, etc. Of course though when he were wanting to be to something early you were going to be late. Its just how it was. Sasarai looked over his shoulder and gave a little snicker, the reason that they were late was Yuki was having a hard time walking in the sandles that came along with the costume he was wearing, they were raised slightly off the ground and with that along with the heavy kimono he was rather off balance. Add in that Lucien had last minute decided to come along with them, minus costume of course as his hadn't arrived yet. Besides he said he wasn't coming for the party anyways, just to check up on Solo and see if and Sasarai could quote it, 'The idiot Kitsune was still alive.' "I still don't see why you dressed like... THAT." Lucien said looking over at his older brother who was done up as a geisha, "You look like a girl, more so then normal." He just wasn't very happy at the moment it seemed. "I think I look pretty, at least I tried to dress up." Yukito said sticking his tongue out at his brother. "Not my party. I just came for a moment." He said, tail flicking back and forth. Truth be told he had better things to do... Ok maybe not but he could pretend damn it! The three brothers headed inside and gave greetings of "Hello." At the same in three different tones of voice. He had older brothers, after all. Scowling, he drew the glass sword and jabbed the blade towards this older boy's stomach, not really intending any damage, but more on the off chance tht Riku might step aside to avoid it. "******** off before I make you." ...But now more people were coming. Muttering under his breath, Lyrus turned to walk around Riku, but caught the curved end of his blade on the older boy's shirt. A short tug and it came free, hopefully leaving a hole in its wake, and Lyrus darted inside before anything more could happen, storming towards Aylee and her brother. "Where's Banda? I'm tired of waiting outside."

Riku stepped aside to avoid the blade, fairly certain that was what the kid had intended and not particularly caring. He damn well didn't want to be dressed up in some girly, skirted costume, handing out candy like a doorman. Examining the scratch Lyrus' sword had made in the stomach of the outfit, he glared. Not even a damned hole so he could excuse himself. This sucked.
"Riku, it isn't a skirt, you're supposed to be helping, get your butt in here!" Rune's tone brooked no argument, and Riku glowered. There was no point in arguing; after all, with more people coming, he couldn't exactly say the place was dead. Jamming his hands into his pockets, he slouched in, glaring. So what if he liked kids? That didn't mean he had to deal with someone else's monsters being brats. Like the little horned kid. Maybe he could figure out some way to get him. Ants in his candy? Superglued carmel apple? It was worth a thought.

Aylee blinked rapidly as this whole exchange went on, not able to get a single word in. Wow, the Sin'aeis children sure were snappy. Well, okay, not ALL of them were Sin'aeis. Uhm.
And then she couldn't help but cringe slightly as Lyrus advanced on her, "Er... Banda, Banda..." she muttered under her breath, trying to recall.
"Room 114."
It was Kunny who supplied the information, and for once Aylee was glad he had a better memory than she did. "Whathesaid." She pointed a thumb in the direction.
Then her eyes focused onto Sasarai and the bunch and she snorted slighty. Hoisting herself up onto her fish-tail, she hopped over to Sasarai, yanked the hat off his head and looked for something to torch it with, "I swear there was a candle around here somewhere..."
Kunny put his hand over his face for a few seconds, then looked at Riku and Rune, "Riku, is it? You and the kid my sister just yoinked the hat off of are helping out up in room 104. If I were you I'd try to get up there before Channa's brat kid you're helping trys to kill someone." He shifted his gaze to Rune and gave her a slight nod, "My name's Kunny, by the way."

"Romm 114," he repeated, eyes flickering towards Kunny. After a moment he nodded and, slinging his sword lazily over one shoulder, started for the stairs and up to torment his guardian. And maybe get some candy and such along the way. Mmm, candy...

Wow, so they weren't insanely late. Anvion thought they would be. Of course, she wouldn't MIND being late, so no one could see her in this stupid outfit. Ugh. And how in the ehlls had Flitch decided he wanted to do Sailor MOON?! Anvion certainly didn't own a TV. But it didn't matter now, did it? Anvion was dressed as Sailor Moon and Flitch had done himself up as a blue version of Sailor Mini-Moon. He didn't want to wear the regular pink outfit that Sailor Mini-Moon wore, because he said it was girly.... and yet he was happily prancing about in a damn miniskirt. Anvion had yet to figure out the logic of that.
Flitch, on the other hand, was etastic. It had taken a ton of convincing to get Anvion to agree on doing this, but at last he had managed to win her over. Of course, she was still complaining about the ridiculously short skirt... but oh well. She couldn't back out now! And besides, the halloween party was going to be SO cool. Flitch was betting everyone was going to be there, so it was guaranteed to be awesome. He could play with everyone!
At last they entered the mansion. Being that it was Anvion's first time here, she let out a low whistle. Damn! It was huge! No wonder Flitch liked to come here all the time. Forgetting her embarassment over her ridiculous Halloween costume for a moment, she pushed open the doors and escorted Flitch inside. "Hello!" she called out, her blue gaze sweeping out across the room. "I hope we're not too late..."

Gillian wasn't so sure where he was to meet Yuki. While Gabriel was gone on buisness he was to be with Yuki. He'd gone on ahead so he really had no idea what kind of costume he'd be in. It was a new thing for Gillian, the concept of dressing up like something else to get candy was a strange but fun thought. He'd not seen anyone but Master Chaco and he'd just been dressed in purple. Maybe he was a grape? He'd not been exposed to the same kind of media as the others- a lot of the costumes would likely be something new to him. Of course, he had time to catch up. He was still a toddler.
Making his way from where he'd seen Chaco- who really seemed too busy to bother- Gillian inched his way along the wall to keep himself standing. It wasn't polite to crawl around in public. A genglemen did his best to stay on his feet... and he didn't really want to be considered an infant anymore. His sister was older, he thought as the big brother he should at least act more mature.
Slowly he managed to pick his way into the foyer and look around, no one he reconized but enough to get an eyefull. He'd never seen so many in his life!
Let's see.... a lovely young lady with .....a....bug?, He didn't reconize Yuki- for all he knew, he -was- a girl. As for Lucian, he didn't at all like the look of that claw or tail. Then again, he probibly scared people too...he quitely scolded himself and went back to looking about.
Fish people! Gabriel told me about them... whom else... another girl...two of them?, She looked familiar too. Flitch wasn't as decieving as Yuki but but the fact that girls wore girl clothing and gentlemen wore gentlemen clothing (or so he thought from his short life of experience) it just couldn't be. Oh, there's that... other one with the horn..., he wrinkled his nose a bit. He'd never actually talked to the lamb-boy but he had heard him spout off a bit of a temper towards Yuki and the shortly met Aarad.

A skull yoyo in one hand, her candy bag in the other, Parvana came running threw the foyar. Skidding to a stop, she looked around, waving over at her gaurdain who was sitting in the cornor of the room. Shanara chuckled waving back, Shanara decied to sit back and let Parvana enjoy herself. She knew her daughter and if Parvana needed anything she would come find Shanara.
The butterfly couldn't believe all the stuff going on in the Mansion tonight. She turned, thinking she had seen Yuki walk around a cornor and down a hall way. She had wanted to show Yuki her costume.
