I kept using that ultimate Dark dueling technique against Ansem, the one that hurls around six Soul Eaters at it's target. I'm thinking it's called Dark Barrage. Anyway, it was doing very little damage because THE DAMN THING COMING OUT OF ANSEM'S SPINE KEPT BLOCKING ALL BUT ONE OR TWO OF THE SOUL EATERS! I fricking love that attack, but it was barely doing anything! So then I think to myself "Okay, you wanna play that way?" and fire up a Dark Aura attack. This, I'm positive, would drop Ansem. You know what that little freak did? He pulled his guardian thingy out in front of him and blocked half my charges! It looked like he was spasming, he was turning so fast to block them. Then, when his guardian gave out, he FRICKING ZEROED MY DARK AURA! Total damage done to Ansem using Dark Aura: 0.
I still beat him without using a single Mickey card, but it was rather aggravating that my favorite moves were being rendered useless. Perhaps I've underestimated Re:com Ansem a bit...Has this happened to any of you guys, or is Ansem's life ambition now to beat me at least once?

I can't say. I've never actually fought him in any of the games. Knowing me, though, I'm gonna have a hell of a time with him. *debates pulling out KH1 and playing it some for once*

I almost died when fighting XehXeh at level 68...but hell, I timed the attacks to JUST when the Guardian was about to go back. Hee hee. I hit the b*****d in the face so many times it was awesome.
But yes, it's happened to me before. =A=

The little punk put his Guardian up front just after I started Dark Aura. If he only needed a card to do that, I would've smoked him right then and there.

Actually, that was already on Beginner. Next mode is standard. Like I've been saying, if I do the hard crap first, Beginner will bore me out of my frickin mind.

My OCD only applies to collecting things, like pins in WEWY or cards in Re:COM.

My OCD: collecting things, killing everything in sight, all difficulties (still going through DoC on very hard)... Everything but max level except when I get it anyway from killing everything. sweatdrop
