Rokurou wondered near a pine forest. Not really doing anything, he walked and zigg-zagged between the trees and hopped over rocks. He was nearing his favorite spot. There was a ledge that had a steep underside but when you look up at the dead of night, lights dance in the sky.
'Good. I'll get a good seat!' He mumed a little and he sat down to wait for the light show. '...but it's not like anyone else lives around here anyway...' He sadly thought. Poor fox lives all alone. He sighed and watched the sun set vanish over the horrizon.
It's not like he has anything better to do...

 "Well, come on Ryo, we're gonna miss the show." Lucien grumped back at his younger (by five minutes) brother.
The other day, Lucien had come across this awesome cliff where one had the perfect view of the night sky, and the dancing lights that streaked across it. And they were going to miss it if Ryo didn't hurry his fuzzy butt up. "Calm down Lucien, I'm coming. You're such a jerk sometimes." Ryo pointed out, putting on a small burst of speed to catch up with his twin brother. "Besides, it looks like someone has already stolen your viewing area." Ryo nodded towards a blueish-purple fox with white spots.

Rokurou's ears twitched by some new voices. His head looked behind him to see two foxes cexactly allike! He couldn't help but smile at the new people. He sat up and his tail swished side by side, his eyes slighly aglow.
"There is enough room all of us. It hadn't started yet, your just in time!"
He moved more to the right so that the two twin foxes can have a good view as well.
'I never knew that there were other foxes living out here. Maybe I just live way out in the boonies and never noticed...Heh, I wouldn't be suprised...'
"It's nice to have company, Do you both live around here?"

Cari trotted through the snow happily along side her new friend, Hoshika. The sun was setting and night was creeping up on the two rather quickly, but Cari knew enough about the snowy land to find her way home after dark. She was just about to ask Hoshika where they were going when she came across an unfamiliar fox scent and trail.
"Oh! Hoshi, look at this trail! I wonder who made it... You wanna follow it and see who it leads to?" Cari hopped up and down in place. She was alway too eager to meet new foxes.Hoshika walked along side a vixen she had met earlier that day on their way around the mountain. She looked out at the scenery in awe. The snow was so beautiful. She had never really seen snow before now. She was observing a snow covered log as Cari spotted a trail.
"Oh cool! Yeah, let's follow it!" Hoshika was all up for a new adventure.

Rokurou humed to himself, his own breath mingling in the cold air. Snow was falling and the tiny snowflakes had glow as the sun set. He loved this place, just watching the day turn into night.
Unconsiouly he rolled some snow into a ball. When he noticed, he breath on it and it turned into a solid ball of ice. He tosses it between in paws, still humming. Then on impuls he wacked it with his tail and it went flying into the pine trees! He stood there of a moment and blushed.
'What is the world was I thinking?'
The ice ball cotinued to roll and gather snow, then it hit a tree which caused the snow to fall down, the same happened to another tree, and another. Untill it reached the two females, one blop of snow landed on Hoshika's head.

Lucien watched as the fox bounced up and invited them to stay and watch the show with him. He smirked at Ryo; his twin was so antisocial sometimes, though Tsato just said the male was shy. Lucien nodded to the male and joined him on the cliff overhang.
Ryo glared at his brother who ignored him with practised indifference. Once again, the brat had left him to do the introductions, and he hated to talk to strange foxes.
"Hello," Ryo said politely but softly, ears laid back, "I'm Ryo and that's my older brother, Lucien. We don't live around here, exactly, we're just passing through on our way to visit our cousin. Thank you for letting us join you."

Elysia's ear twitched as she heard a chunk of snow fall. She glanced at her sister, Eponine, wondering had happened. "What do you think that was?" She asked curiously. It was a slightly rhetorical question, but Elysia asked those often, anyways. "You want to go check it out?" That was amore practical question.
Eponine heard the snow fall as well, turning to her sister at about the same time as she was turned to. She shrugged in response to Elysia's question. "It could have just been a branch collapsing under the snow," she suggested. "I wouldn't mind taking a look, anyways, though." Eponine decided to head in the direction they had heard the snow fall from. Not long after starting to walk, Eponine saw two other foxes, one with snow on her head. The other, pink fox looked slightly familiar. Eponine immediatly recognized the Kousetsu Tribe Tattoo. Eponine and her siblings should have had those tattoos also, having been born into the tribe, but for some reason they never got one.

Cari instantly froze when her heard a loud crack nearby. It kind of sounded like something hard had collided with a tree. It seemed that whatever it was had started a chain. The snow was falling from the trees ahead of them, covering some, if not most of the trail. Cari stood and watched as snow feel in front of them and then as a branch over Hoshi's head gave way and the snow feel right on top of her. Though she knew it had to have stung a little, Cari couldn't help but laugh.
Once she had stopped laughing, she noticed that two vixens were on their way towards them. Cari looked at them intensely for a brief moment. Had she seen them before? Maybe... She couldn't place them so she shrugged it off.
"Hi!" She yelled chreerfully at them as she hopped over their way.
Hoshika gave a startled jump at the loud crack from the trees. She watched, along with Cari, as the trees shed their snow one by one. She thought the tree in front of them would be the last in the chain so she turned to ask Cari what had happend. Just as she opened her mouth, a pile of snow landed on her head. The snow was cold on her ears and she shook her head to get it off. She didn't mind Cari laughing at her because she was sure she would had laughed to if their roles were switched.
She hadn't noticed the new foxes approaching until Cari had yelled out and excited 'Hi' to them. Hoshika simply turned and smiled at them.

Rokurou smiled at Ryo. His happy exitement elumanating from the snow fox was an understantement. Rokurou was very happy to have company, he couldn't stop smiling! He noded to Ryo as he said hello and the reason for passing by.
"I'm Rokurou. Nice to meet you. Now we're not stangers anymore Ryo. What's your name?"
He tilited his up a bit to look at the other fox. He smiled just the same as he did Ryo. He was making another snow ball with his one paw again. He loves to play with snow.

Lucien lifted an eyebrow in amusement of Ryo having to deal with the happy fox. Finally, he decided to take pity on his younger brother. "I'm Lucien. It's nice to meet you Rokurou."
Ryo watched in interest as Rokurou made another snowbal since the first had gotten away from him. "How do you do that?" Ryo asked, taking a small step forward.

Up ahead, Elysia noticed the pink vixen laughing at the other's predicament. Elysia walked a little ahead of her sister, now. They seemed friendly enough. "Hello!" She yelled back at them. Finally she stopped in front of them. "I'm Elysia," she decided to introduce herself, "and this is one of my sisters, Eponine." She indicated to Eponine behind her with a flick of her tail.
The red and white fox followed after her sister to the two vixens. "Hello," she greeted them after Elysia introduced them. She decided not to say more, as it seemed Elysia would handle that.

Rokurou blinked and look down to his paw. He chunckled to himself.
"Well...you have to start with a lot of snow. Then you squish it togeath like a ball, but not to hard! It'll fall apart and you'll have to start all over again!"
He showed Ryo the steps as he told them, but he messed up twice and just made a bigger one. Then he smiled at the size of the mew snowball, it was the size of a small rubber ball.
"I like snowballs...but Ice ball is my favorite..."
He lowered his head and let out a cool breath and the large snowball was caked in a layer of ice. Rokurou tosses it between his paws befor pushing it gently to Ryo.
"Now it won't fall apart if it hits somthing!"
He beamed a smile at Ryo.

"O-oh! That was cool, what you did with your breath." Ryo said, warming up to the new fox. Tentativly, he reached out with a paw and batted the ice ball. Smiling widely, he whacked it a little bit harder and sent it rolling back to Rokurou, his tail wagging happily behind him.
Well, would wonders never cease, Ryo has made a friend. Lucien thought, lowering himself till he was laying in the snow. He watched contentedly as the other two foxes played with each other.
Suddenly, he lifted his nose to the wind as the scent of multiple modis reached his sensative nose. "Ryo, stay here I'll be right back. Rokurou, may I ask that you watch over my little bother for a short time?" Lucien asked before walking back the way they had come.

Rokurou tilted his head to the side but noded anyway.
"Sure, no problem."
He batted the ball back to Ryo after his older brother Lucien went back into the pine trees. He smiled and trotted a little closer to Ryo.
"But if you ask me, if he doesn't make it back in time, the light'll show before he gets back."
And to show Ryo, he looked up twards the sky and you can see the many millions of stars litter the black blanket. Barely any orange and yellow streaked in the horrizion and it was fadeing fast.
'Wonder what's up...Non of my business, for sure...'
Ignoring is ceriousness he tilted his head to Ryo and smiled.
"Have you ever seen the lights here before?"

As the two vixens continued toward them, Cari stopped bouncing and simply wagged her tail happily behind her. The two seemed friendly enough. It was always nice to make some friends. She listened to Elysia introduce herself and her sister. Well, one of her sisters. Cari wondered how many she had.
"Its nice to meet you, Elysia, Eponine." She nodded at each as she said their names. "I'm Cari! And this is my friend Hoshika!" Cari turned to Hoshika and gave her a big smile. Then the turned back to the sisters."You both look somewhat familiar. Have I seen you two before?"
Hoshika smiled at the two vixens as they approached. She nodded to them as they were introduced and gave a warm "Hello." as Cari introduced her. As she waited for them to reply, she gave a knowing smile to Eponine, knowing all to well what it was like to have a sister that always handled the situation.
