How long did it take them to give it back to you?

It was when my Christmas break started - December 14th - at 8pm I got an email saying that my account Katsoyu had been permanently banned for hacking/profiting from hacking. I sent out a ban repeal, then the next day tried to file a hacking report - but apparently there's two ways to do that and I filled out the wrong form. The official "HACKING REPORT" and then the customer service hacking repeal form (?) which I got an email back saying "you need to file a hacking report here's the *link*" and I freaked out thinking "I just freakin' did that!
It's a different link... >_<;;;
So January 5th I finally filled out the right form and I got my account back Friday (23). So that was relatively fast. All my items are here and everything. I just have no clue what happened. I know earlier on that day I tried to log into my account and typed my password in wrong twice then it said I had a temp. ban for 15 min so I think someone just broke my password. >_<;
