Ten-hut! Welcome to West Point Military Academy. Well, the Barton Army's bootlegged copy anyways. In a sense, it's a down-scaled version of the Extended Discussions forums on the normal Gaia site.

Due to the nature of things that can get out of hand in an arguement, here are the ground rules:

Rules

*Be respectful of other people's opinions and beliefs. The purpose of this sub-forum is to discuss and debate topics at hand, not to discredit other people's thoughts on the matter.
*Be mindful of both Guild and Gaia rules. I will be no less diligent in cracking down on anyone that causes problems in this sub-forum, especially given its nature
*Agree to disagree. We don't all agree on the same things, for example, I think Hammi should be strapped to the bottom of the tank treads and have the tank driven around and around the base while Brandon prefers using the Ranchero.
*If an arguement becomes to heated/agressive/etc. I reserve the right to close that topic indefinitely.

In addition to these rules, here are also some topics which have been deemed to be fire-starters under many people's asses and I'd prefer not having to pay close attention to them in order to make sure things don't get out of control. This list will also include a brief explanation as to why we are disallowing these topics. Anyone that tries to start such a topic will have their thread closed immediately and will count as an infarction on their record.

Forbidden Topics of Discussion

*Abortion- This is a touchy subject to many people and due to how emotionally evolved some people are with it, I'd rather we not even think about it. Serious issue, yes, but something I'd rather not try to sort out if a problem should arise.
*Religion- Although it should be plainfully obvious, religion, like abortion, is one of those Don't-Touch-the-Big-Red-Button-or-We're-All-Dead-Via-Nuclear-Weapon topics. I, along with all other senior officers of the Barton Army, will not, I repeat, not tolerate religious crusades in this Army.
*Complaints against the Cash Shop- This is not the main forums and complaining on how certain Cash Shop items such as the GGR Wheel and the Fortune's Egg won't change anything.
*Government Conspiracies- Now, this isn't entirely forbidden, but serious limits will be placed and heavily enforced. Although a full list has not been made, one topic that is certainly forbidden is any wishing to disprove the 9/11 attacks. That's just a train wreck waiting to happen.

Other than that, it looks like everything's all set. Without further delay, allow me to declare that West Point is now open!
