I just want Slumdog Millionaire to win something. That was the best movie I saw last year, hands down. The score was brilliant, the cinematography was top notch, and the cast was very talented.

I think The Dark Knight should win for best sound editing, makeup or production, with Hellboy II coming as a close second for makeup. Wall-E needs to win Best Animated Picture, too. It was adorable, and I haven't met a single person who didn't like it. I haven't seen a lot of the Oscar noms this year, and I know I should...but I'll wait until they come out on DVD and watch them all one right after the other razz It'll be a big geek fest.
I really wanted to see Milk and The Reader, but I know The Wrestler is still playing in my town.

Wow, rambling over XD
