Mastema found himself searching. For what, he did not know, but still he was searching. After the conversation with his cousin, as well as the strange youth from outside the lands, he really started to wonder just what was his future in the world around him. His life felt unfufilled, empty without a story to share with those around him.
And so, he left away from those around him, deciding that he just needed to get away from all of the lions and the chaos that seemed to be with such a mass. It wasn't destructive, but still, it was sometimes just too much. Settling off in the distance, with the rock small in the distance, he just let out a breath, and got a chance to think

Departing from the lands after a brief visit, it almost looked like a ghost, or a spot of snow, had left the lands. Indeed, the lioness found visits to be getting shorter and shorter to her distant-living children. After all, it was a long way to continue to travel, what with the rest of her family far to the south.
A spot of moving brown had her practically bouncing over, curious for a face she hadn't seen before. What with how many lions there were, there were a lot of those. "Hello! I don't think I've met you before!" So trusting of others, she didn't let much get to her.

He suddenly jumped, having not noticed the female moving toward him. Had he decided to keep a scout out, much like his job, he might have realized she was nearing. However, he was so mixed up on the inside, he just didn't have time to see what was going on outside of his mind.
"Huh...?" Turning, his eyes widened a moment before he let out a breath, "Oh...hello..." It was an awkward hello, one showing his youth in the fact he seemed to shy back a moment. In fact, the white cover of the female almost made him think it was the same girl as before, but as he studied her form and markings, he realized his mistake.

Stopping near him, Kohpi offered a smile. "Nice day for a walk, isn't it? Or traveling..." Her tail curled, the tip just brushing the ground. Behind her, a green hare caught up, watching the strange male. Ducking under the lioness, it gave him a wary look.

He watcher her a moment longer, before slowly returning the smile. Than, he glanced over to where the hare moved, before eyeing back to the female, "You could say that, but it seems like almost every day is paradise here in the pridelands..."
He paused a moment, before suddenly chucking, "My name is Mastema...it's a pleasure to meet you miss."

Looking back at the Pridelands, Kophi considered his words. After a moment, she looked back at him. "Too many lions for my liking..." She liked it small and close-knit, like a family.
Looking down at the hare, she noticed a disaproving look. Cubbishly sticking her tongue out at the green hare, she looked back up at Mastema. "I'm Kohpi! And this is Darshana! Nice to meet you, too!" She smiled, a happy and innoccent one.

He was confused at her comment, but let it slide by none the less. It actually helped him see a simularity between the two, and made him a bit happy that he had someone to talk to yet again. A traveler none the less, and with an interesting creature. Maybe it would be interesting afterall.
"You seem to be coming from there though, do you have family around there? I know a lot of members who had siblings who ran off to see more of the world...most of mine did just that."

Kophi smiled an almost... Sad smile. "Some of my children live here, with their father." And at least two were staying with her mother at the moment. "I think you may be the first brown lion I've seen in a while that wasn't related to me." She smiled, thinking of one of her brothers, her grandfather, as well as most of her children. It was a rather large family...

He caught on to the smile, and regretted his question a moment. However, when she started to speak, he felt a little better, as if she wasn't as sad as her smile appeared to be.
"Not related? Well that is a surprised, almost all of my family is brown, even though my father was white and my mother a redish color. I got my own color from my grandparents and other family."
He caught himself rambling, before shaking his head, "So you have cubs? That must be nice...right?"

"Most of them, yes. I have one daughter, she's a bit of a cruel streak to her..." Maybe she was describing Miira lightly? There were certainly issues in that cub's mind. She looked up at Mastema. "What about you, any children, nieces, nephews, or the like?" She paused, allowing Darshana up onto her back.

He laughed a bit at the comment, and was sure that the daughter was nothing compared to his family. Just remembering the twins, let alone his sister, sent a chill down his spine.
"I don't have any...and I'm not sure about if my brothers or sister had any cubs...I just spend each day scouting the lands.

"Aw, you should find your sibblings and catch up on with them some time! Why, one of my brothers has cubs, and my big sister's got cubs...!" She smiled happily, pleased with seeing cubs everywhere. She paused, thinking a moment. "I dunno if Mkorogo's brother or sister have cubs..." Or if Mkorogo had cubs...

"Uh...right, catch up with them..."
He almost laughed at the thought. He loved his siblings, but knew better. There was no catching up with some of them, specially his sister, who probably would maul him on contact. At least, if she was anything like the dreams he had.
"Well that's good you have family to go to...It's nice to see a big family that is intermingling with the lands."

She offered him a smile, then started to walk. "Well, I have to get back to the rest of my family now." As she walked, she paused, glancing back. "If you're ever lost... Just think of the person closest to you!" Her closest was a toss-up between her sister and Mkorogo... The former of which she had to make sure wasn't in trouble. "I'll see ya around some time, Mastema!" She turned, heading off southward, humming a pleasant song.
