For those of you who where worried, Warner Bros studios and 20th Century Fox (who have been locked in a law suit over the upcoming Watchmen film) have settled their differences out of court (a lump sum was paid to Fox) and the Watchmen movie is back on track for a march 6th release. WOOT!

Incidently, less than two days after Fox recieved the sttement, the announced some extensive reshoots of their summer superho movie, X-men origins: Wolverine.

I think we should go to the watchmen together. Even the people who live out of the area should go on the same day so we can hold an all out conversation and dissection of the movie.

That would be pretty aweseome, there'll be a lot to dissect, of course if the regular IM chat RIVlen's set up becomes regular that shouldn't be a problem. :reminds self it's 8PM THIS saturday:

While I highly reccomend the book, those of you who haven't read it yet may want to wait and see the great spectacle the movie is bound to be before going back to the comic. 3nodding

You could always borrow Renton's copy. His is an older print but it's virtually identical to the newer version I have. Enjoy.

Oh. My. God.

The first trailer was spectacular, but when I saw the second trailer in theaters... I've never gotten such chills from a simple movie clip.

Check it out!

This movie is going to be simply stunning.

It depends on the comic Renton, you have to admit, a magnum opus like Watchmen is NOT typical of comic books. Dawn's view applies to MOST comic books, she's more than willing to accept that there's some excellent fiction in the medium, but same as any medium, there is also a lot of tedium.

I think we're all going to LOVE this film, but that doesn't mean it's going to turn us all into hardcore Marvel buffs like you. wink
