Subtitle Fun!
Hello and Good Morning to you all!
By now I'm sure many of you have had a chance to watch the DVD, and love it tons. But I wonder if anyone noticed the flaws in the Subtitle Track?
For Example:
In 'Infected'-
Actual Line: "He says I have her eyes, Do I also inherit his shame?" Subtitle Line: "He says I have a right to, Do I also inherit his shame?"
In 'Zydrate Anatomy'-
Actual Line: "I can't feel nothin' at all..." Subtitle Line: "I'll keep a lock on it all..."
In 'Everyones a Composer'-
Actual Line: "You've turned this house into a tomb." Subtitle Line: "You've turned this house into a zoo."
In 'Let The Monster Rise'-
Actual Line: "Then let the Monster Rise!" Subtitle Line: "Then let the Monster Run!"
I didn't keep the subtitles on long, and didn't see all of these myself, but they've been circulating around.
Share any others you might have happened across, I know there's more.

I can't believe they'd get something wrong like that. It wasn't even a translation issue. Strange.

8D Perhaps it's best I left the subtitles alone. Or maybe I'll put them on just to lol at them. XDD Wow. LGF really put the nail in their own coffin on this one.

I have no idea why they'd mess something like that up... Maybe they changed some of the lyrics in the actual movie when so many subplots were cut out?

Actual Line: "See your knife" Subtitle Line: "To your knife"
Actual Line: "I'm the masked horror" Subtitle Line: "Remember horror"

TONIGHT WE ARE BETRAYED: Actual Line: "On Marni's grave" Subtitle Line: "All man is grave"
AT THE OPERA TONIGHT: Actual Line: "Repo Man, come take my eyes" Subtitle Line: "Repo Man, come take my hand"
BLAME NOT MY CHEEKS: Actual Line: "Though pale with love they be" Subtitle Line: "The pair with love they be"
CREDITS: Actual Line: "I'm here to earn my cure" Subtitle Line: "I'm here to learn my cure"

<_< I watched REPO! with subtitles last night...and sweet God. Talk about funny. XDD; I think the mistake in "Thankless Job" is by far my favorite. I don't think I'll look at that scene the same way again.

I've made my peace, I hold no grudge. I'm gonna sing my final song...
Either LGF had a stroke or they did that on purpose. I am going with the second choice only because every other line is not what is being sung/said, which would be extremely stupid to do even for LGF's standards.
They are hilarious, though I have only seen them posted and have not watched the DVD with them yet. xD
...At the opera tonight!
