Cetus sighed, looking over his notes. It all seemed so boring now. The human he claimed as his own, he knew everything about her he could find out. How she interacted with all the wini around her, her love of cute things. No. Maybe he was going about this all wrong. These were all familiar settings. Familiar winiko! He needed something new. A partner. New test subjects, but who? He remembered a pretty little wini from a while back. She was a lovely help... Could he track her down?

Sprik sat thinking carefully. She had been living with her human for some time now and found out alot about the hyper girl. She found out that even tho the girl was hyper she had a kind heart that never seemed to lower. She frowned at this thought for a moment and shook her head. She kept forgetting her humans name for some reason and this made her frown even more. She should know it, but then again she always just called her human.

Cetus decided to go for a walk. As he was leaving, he heard a crash. "JUN!" Jun. She was the most troublesome of the little group that lived here. The object of the fight slid from the other room. An amulet. Cetus sighed, picking it up. Peridot had been prancing around with one the last few days, but this was a different one, so he took it to keep it safe. Maybe this would stir up some more interesting research.
What would a few hours out hurt?
The town was full of people who couldn't see his kind. People who didn't believe, and those with no connection to magic and unnatural occurrences. They people held no interest to him either.

Blinking and forgetting where she was she looked around. She was letting her human have some piece as she work on something or other. She didn't care much for the computer stuff the girl did. So Sprik had gone for a walk and found a nice place to sit and watch the humans that passed.
Maybe this would be more interesting if they could see her. She laughed at that idea and got up peering around for a moment and walking. She had not meet many others, well in fact she had only met one other like herself, but just couldn't place the name. She frown and knew that she was bad with names if she forgot any of them she knew.
Peering around as she walked she half wanted to go back home and bug her human to do something. She was not watching where she was going or who she was passing.

"Hey space case, watch where-" Cetus stopped when he looked at who almost ran into him. He recognized her. "Sprig? Sprint... Uh..." He knew her name was something like that. "Well lovely, how are you?" He smiled. There was a purple amulet around his neck.

Sprik turned and grinned. "Wow I have not seen you for, well from the first time we meet!" She made no comment on him not knowing her name because she had forgotten his. "It's Sprik." She laughed before her eyes were drawn to the amulet around his neck. "Oh? Where did you get that? Reminds me that my human just got one and will not shut up about it..."

"Ah, I was so close to remembering it. I should know that the loveliest women have the loveliest names." He smiled at her. "He looked down at the amulet. "Yeah, my human and one of my bond-mates were fighting, and I'm sure this was the source. So I took it. Perhaps when I get back, there will be something interesting in that house for me to observe and study." He smiled. "So, your human obtained one too, hmm? I heard the other night a pair of elders had summoned a batch, and there was a big commotion to keep them safe from the father. Say, would that have been one of them?"

Oh yes, she remembered how much of a flirt he was, but she didn't mind. "Yes I believe it was one of those. She came back saying something about a poor rat or something, and she had the amulet with her." She thought about that for a moment. "I guess that means I'm not going to be alone in the house any more." She played with that idea and didn't find it too bad.

Cetus laughed a little. Augustus had mentioned the rat. He wasn't about to tell her that he was calling that one "eggplant" though. "Nothing wrong with a little company, right?" He thought about his 6 bond-mates, and the 2 amulets. "Though I think there is a point when there are too many." He shook his head. "Come my dear, do you feel like doing some research with me?"

Sprik nodded. "I'm sure that I will not be forgotten at all. She seems to love me even tho I try to bite her anytime she is near." That was half true but she was not about to say that. "Oh I would love to help you with some research. What are you researching this time?"

"Well!" Cetus said with pride. "I've noticed that even though most human's can't see or even feel us, they can still see when we interact with the world. I was about to head down to a rather high end cafe and see what I might be able to learn about humans when they 'Panic.' Think you'd like to come along?"

"My human too is used to the antics of our kind." He started walking, making sure she was coming along as well. "She was used to us before I ever met her." The walk to the cafe wasn't a very long one. It was only a few blocks from where they were. Cetus could find this place from anywhere, having a fondness for their red snapper. As he had expected, the lunch rush had just settled in. "This is perfect."

Sprik followed close behind and thought for a moment. "Well I'm sure she sill have no problem when another child shows up." She laughed then peered at the cafe. "Oh looks like alot of fun just waiting to happen." She had never seen this place before, but that could be because she hardly watched where she walked.

"Want to borrow one of ours? I think Gin might give your human a handful." Cetus laughed and approached the fence that guarded the outside dining area. He leaped up like a cat of normal size, and stood on the railing- a feat for the lion-sized demon. "I say we start inside." Carefully, he hopped down, now inside the dining area between 2 tables of business men, some men at each table holding those silly devices that one talks into for whatever reason. It was like humans expected them to talk back. When Cetus investigated the one at Lural's home, he only heard the most horrible of tone, ringing steady and constantly.
