Salazar sat with his feet propped up on the stone dais of his desk, waiting for his newest student to arrive. Tykier, a Wrath and Abstinence boy, with Wrath prevalent in his preteen age. Salazar sighed softly. How come he had gotten a wrath kid two out of three times?
Still, it never ceased to amaze him what this facility could come up with. For all he knew, this kid could be a cyclops with wings on his arms.

Tykier walked up to Salazar's apposed door, knocked, and opened it, "Hello..?" He saw Salazar at his desk, with his feet propped up on it, "I'm Tykier... It very nice to meet you..."

Salazar paused for a moment. By Bresaeleraum, I was right. He thought absentmindedly, wondering how he had managed to get that one. He jumped to his feet and walked over to Tykier with a grin.
"Very nice to meet you too, Tykier. I am Salzama--Salazar, as I am called here." Salazar nodded, wondering why he had nearly said his Dymarian name. That was odd, definitely. Maybe he needed to take a break and renew his energies back in his home world? Or maybe it had just been too long since he had been in the company of another Dymaria and needed the familiarity of old traditions and rituals.
"Well, shall we begin?" Salazar asked, summoning up the customary twelve flickering dots of magical light, patting the little Life one affectionately. The little white light bobbed at his touch, the tiny creature within making a small 'kyuuun' in pleasure at his attention. He decided that he would send that one third, just to see...

Waited patiently as Salazar summoned up the twelve sources. "I wonder what type of magic I'm going to learn..." He calmly stated, watching Salazar pet the white light.

"It all depends on which one of these little misraelens can find your 'thrum' first, nothsen." Salazar said, unknowingly using Dymarian terms for the attuned constructs that flittered around him like sprites. He also used the affectionate title for a student, only realizing it a bit after he had said it.
"Err, well, basically, I'm going to send one of these little sprites over to you. You can pet it, do pretty much anything you want except hurt it or kill it. It will find out what Source you're attuned to by either increasing its magic output to balance it out, which would make it glow brighter, or lower it to neutralize it entirely, which would make it dull. If one sprite stays the same, then it's attuned to your Source, and I'll be teaching you in that one." Salazar explained in normal terms, motioning for the Thunder construct to go near Tykier. It grew bright, blindingly bright. Salazar covered his eyes and called it back, shaking his head.
"Obviously not that one."

Ty was blinded by the light(wrapped up like a douche and was rolling in the night~lawlz!), and rubbed his eye. "Ack!"Then, he heard what Salazar said, "What's a nothsen..?"

"Erm....well. It's a word for a student back where I came from. I don't know why I'm using all the words from there all of the sudden; I think I might need to take a vacation for a bit and go back." Salazar said sheepishly, sending the next construct forth.
This time he picked the Air construct, and when this one grew dim enough to see the little serpentine body with its twelve flittering insect wings, he called it back before it shut itself off, not wanting one of his little assistants that had been with him for over a hundred years to fall to the ground and possibly shatter. They were a bit fragile, these little constructs.

"Currently working on that." Salazar said, patting the poor little Air construct that sat on his shoulder, making a tiny noise as it moved. He'd need to recharge it; that tune-down had drained it pretty badly. Reluctantly, Salazar sent forth the little Life one, his favorite construct.
"Reminas, shotari vencaerel." He murmured to it, telling it in Dymarian, the only language it understood, to pull out fast if the situation that had happened with Air repeated itself. Salazar wasn't about to lose his very first construct. It nodded its white-gold head and flew forward, its delicate wings keeping it in the air with a serene grace as it flew close.

For some reason, Ty liked this little constrict. As if he felt as though he loved it..! Tykier held out his index to pet it...

Reminas, the little construct, curled around Ty's index finger, making a small purring noise as it slid into place, its four little legs gripping Ty's fingers with a touch light as a feather, and a little bit ticklish. Its white-gold scales shone in the light that the small crystals under its metal back gave off, and its tiny gemstone eyes glittered with pleasure. Salazar grinned as he saw that his favorite construct was safe, and that they had found Ty's Source.
"Well, looks like you're going to be learning Life magic, then."

Tykier smiled very happily at the little Life constrict as it made purring noises, it was actually kind of cute. "I'm glad," he warmly said.
