Drathos, the Drathonian homeworld, is slightly smaller than the late Terra, which is why Drathonians are Slightly larger than Terrans. The lower gravity allowed them to continue with larger, heavier bodies than Terrans, but, for the same reason, Terrans are actually stronger in proportion with their size. Drathonians do, however, remain stronger overall.

The Drathonian homeworld is sparsely vegetated, and life there is hard, though the large amount of ore and minerals that were readily available allowed the Drathonians to industrialize and gain space technology fairly quickly for such a comparitively unintelligent race. Currently, most of Drathos is covered by Metropolises, large cities and the like, and is fairly polluted due to the large amount of industrial activity. Like mars, much of Drathos is a dusty red, even the plant life there is.

In 14 PT, or 4047 AD, The UTR's flagship, Battle Hymn of the Republic, Dropped an enourmous Thermonuclear warhead on the planet, causing large scale destruction and nuclear fallout over much of the planet. Current surface conditions are unknown.
