My guess is this, "Are you a good person?" If the person is a good person, off to heaven they go. Then again, I don't know what God will say, and I won't attempt to judge people here on Earth. I don't believe just because you are gay means you are going to hell. I don't think God is that cruel.

Well, I don't know if people are born gay like some people say, but I think they'll be ok as long as they don't act on it or commit adultery in their heart. If a guy is attracted to guys, or a girl to girls, I just consider that temptation, but if they act on it, then it turns into sin. I might be wrong though, I don't know everything about God.

Being homosexual is a sin, and like any sin, if you confess it you're all good, but God's sad whenever we sin, it breaks his heart, just like when I lie it hurts him like when someone kills another it hurts him. The response is pretty much the same in all cases, I think.

Homosexuality is just like any other sin, the Bible says it is punishable by death, but when forgiven you are clean.
Basically.
I could go on forever... biggrin

Getting pissed off- sin. folowing one of "god's" fist orders to the universe-sin. with everything in life that adds flavour and experiance being a sin i can't figure out how you guys live.

I don't believe that people are born gay. Being sexually assaulted and other horrible situations can make you gay. With our society today, being gay is almost worshiped now and people will want to try it out. I bought a book from my church about gay people and it said that so long as you don't act on your lust for the same gender and confess your sin, you will be forgiven. God created man and woman to be together.

Ok then how do you explain people from good and loving homes that report knowing that they were gay since as early as five years of age? nothing can truly make someone gay. the most easy evidence of this is that no heterosexual person has ever made the concious decision to be attracted to the opposite sex. why do you bible thumpers always assume that people actualy chose thier sexuality? as for your church book on homosexuality, (not generaly the first source i'd recomend trusting considering the obvious bias) the advice given can just as easily be flipped to hetero teens as well. and just for the record if your God had created man and woman to be together then were hermaphrodites a cruel joke or something?

It's same-sex intercourse that is the sin, not actually being gay. So as long as they avoided acting on their feelings then actually, then really he's not going to say anything.

broken_joker It's same-sex intercourse that is the sin, not actually being gay. So as long as they avoided acting on their feelings then actually, then really he's not going to say anything. that is a greater sin. It is absolutely self-destructive. Human beings need things in their lives like love, affection, and physical intimacy. In fact physical intimacy is instrumental in the cultivation of a long term relationship. also i have a question, can anyone find me where it says that two WOMEN can't be together?

Well I am Bisexual and my take on it is it is not indeed a sin.In Duteronamy it say that if a child disobeys its mother or father that it should be stoned to death and we certainly dont do that any more.It also states that we shouldent eat shell fish.I used to belive it was a sin until I saw the amazing movie Prayers for Bobby. It completly changed my view because i thought i was living in sin and had no choie about it like Bobby but i didnt take my life yet. Then I saw this movie and it made some very strong points about Gayness and I recomnded it to everyone.
so long Your sister in Christ

I abosoluty agree with you.I come from a christan family and I am bi sexual and lean more toward being a Lesbean.I know i didnt choose this and i havent come out to my family yet but I think for sure i was made this way by no other factor than God.Again ill say Whatch Prayers for Bobby.

One Question: When did someone's sexuality become someone's identity?
I hear more people today when I meet them tell me what their sexuality is first, which is mostly Bi or Gay, I even heard Hetero once because of the institution of this new practice. Why?
I think its ridiculous. Not an insult to anyone, just an observation.
