The library was in absolute silence when a dark haired woman and her two children walked through it's entrance. The main hall had looked all but abandoned sake for the old receptionist not ten feet from the doorway. Even she didn't seem aware though, with her glasses slipping down her face as she was nose deep in a book that seemed to heavy for her to be holding up. Silence was probably best though- maybe Shira could teacher her bickering kids to keep their mouths shut for one.
"Okay Demos, Arthur," Shira grabbed the hands of both young boys. Green and blue eyes glared at each other before staring into their mother's gray ones. "This," She tilted her head up, "is a library. And in libraries, people have to be quiet."
Arthur started to protest. "Why-"
"Because we have to be respectful of people who are reading, as they do the same for us. That means no fighting while we're here. " A meaningful glance made the boy close his mouth. Demos nodded towards his mom and she led them to the kids section. Arthur scrunched his nose at the sight of so many books in one place. "Stay here while I go look for something, and i'll be right back." The children clung to her, both for different reasons. The bond between her and Arthur didn't allow him and her to be too far from each other without causing him discomfort. Demos on the other hand was just purely shy, and would very much prefer to have his mom by his side. "I'm not going far, and I'll only be gone for a few minutes." When she de-clawed them from her sleeves, she walked out and a few bookshelves from the kids.
"Tch." Arthur folded his arms and glared at the happy colored decorations and library rules that were posted on the walls of the children area. He didn't see a point of being in such a boring, dusty old place. Reading was a waste of his time. "This is stupid." He spoke his infamous line, and Demos found a need to roll his eyes. "There should at least be other people here." Demos shrugged and walked over to where the picture books were, seeing as how he could read well all that much yet. He figured if he just stayed away from his brother, he could be less angry and not find a need to yell and embarrass his mother. He clutched his stuffed bear closer to him and walked down an aisle.
