I usually think staying of of politics is wise but since its the start of a new president's term I figured it was safe to start this forum. Congrats to our new pres and lets just hope he can turn our economy and poor international image around.

But yeah, lets face it, he can't really do much worse than Bush. In fact, I've sort of wondered at how busy he'll be just trying to clean up after him.

It's not really if he can clean up what Bush has done, there is not much to clean up, but its what he can do with what is already done. In a really crappy metaphor Bush has made a pimpmobile and its paint is black and Obama wants a purple pimpmobile just because it's color has changed is it the same car???? Hell yeah!!! a presidency is a presidency and bush forgot to fill up the gas tank biggrin I don't care about politics only if it affects me i or someone i love I DON'T CARE biggrin

I'm actually very happy that Obama is president. I just watched W. last night and honestly... I couldn't be happier that he's not president anymore. I'm especially happy that he is, because he's travelling all around the US and seems to be everywhere at one time. I honestly think this is what the country needs =3 Now we just have to clean up this crap with the octuplets and it'll all be okay... (sorry if that offends anybody... )

OH SOMETHING HILARIOUS WAS ON THE NEWS!!! It was 60min or something about how Obama is better for science than Bush was. And the most hilarious thing, they played a segment from THE COLBERT REPORT, they showed where he was saying "If Bush was so bad for science, then why did we go through 3 CSI's?"
