If your heart is good and pure, you'll go up to heaven, but if you've done sin full evil things you'll go to hell, so to speak. But what would happen if you were a cruel person and wanted god to forgive you so you could go to heaven, but you died before christ had a chance to forgive you. Would you just go to hell?

Well, I think you would be good. I mean...you regreted them, didn't you?

Oh, the person in question was regretting them. Sorry.

God forgave us when Jesus died on the cross, we just have to accept the forgiveness. If the person wanted the forgiveness, he would go to heaven (well, as long as he wanted it to be right with God, and not just so he wouldn't go to hell).
