The prince drifted through the park thoughtfully, shifting his eye among those gathered. His summoner was going over some text in her search for the blades, he could have answered her questions for her but it was more amusing to allow her to search and also not part of the contract; it would cost her more for more answers and Sam wasn't one to give away anything idly even the angel blood she held in regard almost as much as her own soul. Sam was very true to her own morals, something that amused the Prince greatly, pushing aside thoughts of the mortals he had found Seere made his way toward the duck pond.

It was almost dusk so the park was emptying but the ducks were still sitting in the pond awake waiting for some source of food. With a somewhat amused expression Seere took one of the small bags settled over a nearby machine; tapping the dispenser the pellets fell freely to the ground. After capturing some in the bag the demon Prince let the others scatter about the walkway. Stepping off to the side so the animals that may be attracted by the food wouldn't bother him he found a spot to stand that had a nice view of the city and threw a few pellets into the water for the ducks still in the pond. Watching the birds scrabble for the food was more then slightly entertaining this evening. He afterall did have many things on his mind and with his sight sometimes the more mundane were the most entertaining.

Soon he knew he wouldn't be alone, the other would come and they would meet. He knew it would happen, he just hoped that the exiled Prince wouldn't keep him waiting long.

After leaving Mischa with Cela, the demon prince stalked across the bridge. His head had been lifted to the air as if he smelled a fragrance most enticing. A smirk appeared, sliding across his face quickly. Death was in the air but it was hesitant.

The jumper was not sure about jumping.

Asmodeus walked up behind him. It was a long way down. The fellow would die. He was standing all too precariously on the edge. The thoughts the man was having teased him. Tantalizing as they reached out, fear encased waves of doubt. His lips twitched then he laughed. Getting as close to the fellow as he could, he whispered. "It's a long way down. Don't look."

Startled, the man tried to turn, losing his balance. Then he toppled over the side, screaming as he went. The demon chuckled leaning forwards as he watched him disappear into the cold black water below. Nearly as satisfying as Jeffrey had been. Glancing around he wondered what to do next.

The park was nearby he noted, then frowned slightly. Someone was there. One of his kind. But which one? Curiosity got the better of him and he was soon walking towards the place he felt the attraction. When he noted Seere sitting there, he wondered what he was about.

"Nothing better to do than feed the birds, Seere? I'd have thought you would at least have a pet mortal under each wing."

"There are much more enticing things then just mortal souls," Seere dropped a few more pellets in the water as he spoke, "wouldn't you agree." His stance and expression was that of nonchalance but he was curious about what the exile had been up to. He doubted that Asmodeus had the cunning to pull off so smoothly what had happened to Lilith but perhaps he would have at least some information. He could see much, but not all and it was those things he couldn't see that intrigued him most.

After a moment Seere looked sidelong toward the other Prince, "I've found some most amusing mortals actually...and yourself? What is it you have found as of late? Mortals? Pets?" A small twitch of the lip reflected Seere's own amusement, "deaths? To keep you occupied?" He didn't expect a straight out answer, but getting the question out there was part of the game...and the game had to get started somehow.

Deaths? Seere must have seen him scare the fellow on the bridge. He snorted in amusement.

"Mortals can be as passionate as we are, Seere. If properly trained." A wide grin broke out on his face. "And noone will miss my pet's husband. She killed him. I just ensured it by keeping him distracted and another out of the way so there was no evidence on her part. Besides I was hungry and his heart served well enough. And as for the mortal on the bridge just now, he was going to jump anyhow."

He turned folding his arms so he could watch the other demon. "Pretty little pet I have now. Raven hair and bright jade eyes. And so very young. Barely 21. Just not sure what direction to push her in yet. But I do have a plan working. I miss the gambling houses of old. And what are you up to here in this mortal world? Besides feeding the birds and fishes."

Glancing over toward the other, Seere was pretty sure that Asmodeus' ignorance was true. Not that he ever really believed that the other Prince had the cunning to kill Lilith, there were very few he would credit with such.

"Gambling houses," Seere mused slightly before speaking again, "myself I have various interests, a mortal of my own that I find more then slightly amusing and a new servant." He left out that Kyrie was of celestial blood, the other Prince would be able to determine that on his own; leaving such to the realization of others was more amusing at least to him.

"It seems you truly are cut off from the news of home," Seere paused a moment dropping the rest of the feed into the pond and standing just watching the small beasts within scramble for what floated to the surface. After a moment of consideration Seere continued, "perhaps your exile won't be as long as you might have anticipated." Slivers of information, when used correctly could be useful. Why he was wasting such on Asmodeus was simple, the other prince had power. If they could come to any sort of truce it would be good for them both.

Asmodeus raised an eyebrow. "No? Who says I did not want it? I was not summoned here, Seere. I came through on Samhain and then found my sweet pet so that I could remain." His lips twitched faintly in amusement, then he focused on Seere a long moment.

"I've heard nothing since I've been here." he finally bluntly admitted his ignorance of the circumstances at the court. "Is Zulaika captain of Lilith's guard again? I know she was very pissed at me for what happened, so I felt it best to leave."

He had no plans to tell Seere what happened, but he was certain the other prince could easily guess and understand at the mention of her name. It had been his choice to act as he had. And if he had to do it all over again, he would still.

"So what is going on back home?"

"You should know I can see whatever I like of this world whenever I wish it, I only answer the most interesting of summonings." Reaching up the Prince brushed a bit of nonexistent lint from his robe sleeve. "And what is you are hoping to find here?" Seere mused slightly watching the other as he spoke, knowledge after all had it's own power.

He wondered if he heard a bit of annoyance in Asmodeus' voice, smiling faintly at the question of Lilith's guard he paused a long moment before answering.

"Lilith has no guards now, so that shouldn't be a worry to you."

"If you know so much, then you should know why I'm here." Asmodeus replied, smirking faintly but then shrugged. "It's not that hard to figure out. Mortals can be quite passionate if properly guided. Most interesting, huh? More than likely a challenge that you cannot see in its entirety." He watched Seere for a moment. "I'm after power here. I'm tired of taking orders for awhile and I'm making this my home for now. I intend to have a gambling house where I set the rules."

"As for Lilith, why would she need no guards at all? What happened to her?" A frown flickered across his face as he shifted slightly. Seere knew something from home he did not. He wondered briefly if his entanglement with Zulaika had provoked something more.

Seere smiled faintly, "a gambling house, it has promise at least idea wise. A good way to gain sway over the souls of mortals." He didn't doubt that Asmodeus would do well with such a thing as his base of power.

He let the other have a moment to consider his words and smiled faintly at the response. "Ah dear prince, Lilith has no need of guards anymore...because she is dead." His tone was thoughtful and considering as he spoke not giving away any feelings over the outcome if he had them.

"Yes, I built one long ago but had little opportunity to these last ages to even consider one. And that's exactly what I plan. With the money my pet inherited, it will not take long to gamble in another house and to her advantage. November is my month of power, afterall."

Asmodeus scowled suddenly, his jaw clenching tightly. "Dead? How? Someone took advantage of Zulaika being gone. She'll be doubly angry at me now." Then he grinned widely, suddenly smirking. "I guess it was a good thing to take the opportunity that presented itself to come here then."

"Things may not be as simple as you remember, if you would want any. I may be persuaded to lend some assistance if you desire it, for acceptable terms of course." The gambling house sounded like a worthy investment, and though greed and lust would be strong there; his own power could be raised by it as well. Gathering mortals in one area could almost always be profitable to him.

"Hmm, if that is the case it seems someone has been playing a long game. But considering their target I wouldn't expect less." Smiling faintly Seere paused before speaking again, "when given the chance there are many opportunities one can find here."

His eyes simply gazed at Seere for a long moment. Of any he would trust, it would be Seere. He would have the knowledge to help with this and would most likely enjoy it. Together they would be much more powerful than alone. Suddenly he nodded.

"It could very well be of benefit to both of us to ally together, Seere. I do not plan to return for a long time. Of course, we all return at some point." His grin widened as he spoke. Asmodeus fully expected to be sent back to hell at some future date. But he was not going to make it easy for whomever attempted to do so. "And this way, we have an advantage over the others. One is within and one without. Let them guess what we do and be wary of us."

Folding his arms, he asked, "What are your terms? I'd be willing to share the gambling house with you and to stand at your back with you at mine should the need arise." This was turning out to be an even better day than expected.

He knew the other was considering his proposal, he also knew it was a good one. Finding an ally was always useful amongst their kind, it would take time to actually gain some semblance of trust but it would benefit them both.

"A share in the gambling house, though you will want to call it a casino now a days. And backing one another sounds good..." he let his voice drag a moment before continuing, "there is one small favor I will want from you, it likely will also require the help of your lovely mortal as well."

Seere smiled slightly before speaking again, "the mortal that summoned me is looking for some very particular weapons, each needs a bearer. And your girl likely could easily be one, I purpose the two meet and Sam gets the idea that she should be a bearer." Seere steepled his fingers in front of him slightly before continuing, the bit about being a bearer should be easily enough especially if he and Asmodeus worked together; their mortals were bound to meet, however he had very specific needs as well. "Should your mortal become a bearer, she'll allow me to examine the blade she receives...Sam doesn't need to know that I'm taking such an interest." The magics covering the blades were like a low hum he couldn't get out of his ears, and it made him want to master them even more.

"Casino. Hmm.. A good enough word until we have it built and a name for it. Her name is Mischa Renaude`, but you more than likely know that already." Asmodeus grinned, then chuckled. "You are always looking for more knowledge." It was a statement and not a question he aimed at Seere. He understood some of what drove the prince as he himself was driven at times. After a moment watching him as if judging motives, the demon prince nodded.

"Agreed. If she is one, you will see the blade without your Sam understanding. I am assuming they are magical in some fashion or you would not have such an interest. Relics of the past I would think from long ago. There would be some out there waiting to be discovered. Men knew different things in the past than they do now. Perhaps even something we can use to gain more power. Then it becomes our choice on what we want to happen here and to some degree even there."

"Mischa needs to learn to pamper herself a bit. She's had nothing but abuse these last years married to that man. I want her to want them but to scorn them all in the end." He grinned wickedly. "I've plans for her later. Perhaps."

Seere nodded slightly, "each of the blades is magical. In additions to the magics they were originally given there is another enchantment that keeps them from being touched by infernals...most likely wouldn't be able to find them either; fortunately that is not a problem I don't have." He smiled slowly listening to Asmodeus, the prince had the right idea of what he was considering even if he put it much more bluntly then he would have.

After a moment of consideration Seere spoke again, "perhaps with pampering at least when it comes to material things, your Mi should meet with Sam. She is use to it, perhaps not in the traditional sense but she has always had the money for pampering." Seere smiled faintly, "a possibility also for where we can acquire what Mi doesn't inherit and perhaps mortal contacts as well."

After a thoughtful adjustment of his sleeve the Prince mused again, "I'm guessing you are going to want to run prostitution out of the casino as well?" He asked with a somewhat amused expression on his face but his voice was serious, "if you are looking to make a power center, I'd suggest it. And pull in the local talents. Offering the usual protection, a nice place to stay. In exchange for loyalty and a cut off of their nightly earnings. I'll even see to having one of my girls set in with whoever we find to keep an eye on things." The girls were part of his legions more specifically those devoted to his own personal pleasure, though it would take from his harem he was willing to offer at least that.
