Annelise lied on her side snuggled up against Ohanzee, with the shake safe in-between them. She felt exhausted even though she was well rested. Her stomach was swollen as well. Before she hadn't thought much of it, but now she was sure they were going to have a family. Annelise rehearsed over and over in her head what she was going to say to Ohanzee. She lied there quietly waiting for him to wake up.

Ohanzee slowly woke from a comfortable sleep. He felt the warmth of Annelise next to him along with the cool feeling of the shake. A smile crossed his mouth as he spoke softly, half mumbling. "Good morning Annelise...good morning little shake..." He stretched a bit, though staying in his laying down position. This would be a good day.

Her smile was a bit calm, even though she felt a little scared. "Good morning Ohanzee," Annelise stretched her legs as she sat up. "Good morning little one," she cooed. Her tail wrapped lightly around Ohanzee's, as she found her voice. Annelise took a small breath, but decided against it for now. "Let's go out for a walk, I need some fresh air."

Ohanzee sat up, fixing the little nest for their shake. As he stood he stretched his legs and wings, then looked to his mate lovingly. "A walk? Sure. Who will hold our shake this time? Or will we be close enough that it'll be safe in it's nest?" He moved closer and nuzzled her cheek, purring a little.

Annelise nuzzled him back lovingly, and moved closer to him. "We won't be far, I promise," she then snuggled against him. Her wings fluttered as she felt a small thump in her stomach. "The shake will be safe and within sight," she glanced over at the shake and smiled. We'll have more soon, she thought as she smiled warmly.

He smiled and nodded, heading out of the cave. With a final look back at the shake, he flew out to stretch his wings a bit more, then stopped and watched Annelise. "Did you sleep well?"

Annelise watched him as he flew out, and followed after him. She made sure to stay low to the ground and relax. "I slept well," she said as she yawned. "I just feel exhausted is all," Annelise smiled reassuringly.
She thought about the best way to start, so she wouldn't freak him out. "Remember when you said you wanted a family?" she asked carefully, though it sounded like regular conversation.

Ohanzee tilted his head when she stayed down near the ground. When she got close enough, he gently stroked her back, feeling a tad worried. "Oh ok. Your still tired?" That explained it. He managed to relax...until she asked about his earlier comment. "Yes, I remember. And I still do."

Annelise looked up at him and met his eyes. She purred as he stroked her back. It was comforting to know he was there for her, as she would always be for him. "Well what would you do if I said I was pregnant with three little ones?"

Somehow, Ohanzee was calm. A little nervous, but calm. "I'd be nervous, but also...i'd be so happy. To have little one's with you is a dream come true." With that said he nuzzled her side, noting a bulge against his nose. She really was. His heart skipped a beat in excitment. "Annelise! I can feel it...you really are?"

She relaxed, and was scared no more to talk about it. "I feel the same way about it," Annelise felt the three little thumps as he nuzzled her side. "I am. There's three." She smiled and it reached her eyes, as she felt a little more energetic than she had before. "I heard their heart beats a few nights ago."

"Three!" Was the first thing he could say in response. He moved closer and placed his ear against his lover's stomach. Heartbeats. Three of them! Then a kick to his ear made him pull away. He chuckled softly then looked up at her. "I heard them...they have strong heart beats. Healthy babies." His heart and pride swelled at the though of so many babies and a loving mate. He could not be made happier than he was now until they were born.

Annelise just smiled, and felt a surge of happiness swell through her. "Yes they are," she nuzzled him and purred. "They're arrival will be soon, I can feel them moving more each day." Annelise let her wings stretch out more, as she glided alongside him.

Ohanzee smiled warmly as he pulled her close to him as they glided through the air together. "Mmm...we'll need more furrs for them all." He nuzzled her in return, lovingly. "I could not be happier..." He licked her cheek.

Annelise snuggled into his chest and nodded. "You and them, there's nothing in the world that I love more," she purred. A slight pain shot through her, as she nearly fainted for a moment. "I think they're ready," she managed to say as a few sweat droplets appeared on her forhead.
