OOC: Assumption of fresh meat made with Starsong's permission.
When news reached the group of Starsong and Blazing Rock's successful hunt, Peyote declared a feast was in order, and set aside all that she had going on to get all the bowls cleaned. She even asked one of the others that could send to please try to find Autumn Joy (that silly little rock shaper) for some plates and cups and spoons and a roasting fork and a pitcher for drinks. Taking a small hot coal from the fire in Llune's cave, the sun villager made her way to the beach, found a place along the cliff where the cave was, with a flat rock over looking the ocean for people to dive from, and a clear dry area for eating and access to the compacted wet sand to dance on, and a straight shot to the cool fresh water pool at the base of their waterfall to swim in. On that flat rock, against the cliff wall, she set about with the fire wood they had, making a bonfire, with a smaller side fire to cook on. As the fire was setting up, she rushed into the treeline to find anything edible, collecting an odd assortment of berries and veggies and plants in her skrits before dumping them by the fire for prepping later. Offers of aid were met with a bright smile and the naming of a task that needed to be done before the feast. From tending the fire to cleaning the Feasting Rock to washing the fruits and veggies were all listed off to whomever offered with a bubbling undemanding tone.
The one thing Peyote refused to delegate was telling everyone she knew about to come down to the party area just as soon as they could with anything they thought they'd like to bring, if they had anything she wasn't already aware of. "We're going to celebrate the feast from the forest, and give thanks to the Huntress Starsong and Provider BlazingRock! Please, won't you join us?" The very tones made it seem that all the world was invited, regardless if she knew the elf was even there or not. Peyote also refused to delegate the fetching of water and the serving of said drink to everyone that came into the area while she was there. She would hand each in turn a cup or small bowl to drink from, then pour the fresh water for them with a flourish that almost made one want to believe it were far more special a thing than simply cold water.

Blaze had helped as much as he could with the firewood and fires, but Pey's whirlwind of energy kept him from little more than the heavy lifting and actually starting the fire. He set himself neatly between the two fires, shifting a log instinctively here and there so that to cooking fire would become a bed of searing coals, and the bonfire keep it's height and light-giving flames.
At the anouncement, and his name, and the title added to it, he flushed noticably, and it was a sorry fireshaper that heat could bother. "Wasn't me that killed it. I jus' was along fer th' ride." The denial was reluctant grumble towards Pey more than anyone else, but it wasn't too bothersome. The fires well-managed for the moment, he wandered a little ways down to the shoreline to find more wood.

Savith smirked when Peyote gave him his invitation, but nodded. Playing the good messenger boy, he flew off to find Autumn Joy about the shaping Peyote needed, before returning to see what else the villager might need, but by then things seemed well in hand, so he took a quick head count of who was here and who was not so that he could go fetch the others.

Dancer would do her part as well. Going with large baskets into field and forest as far as she could collecting lovely blooms and things she thought Pey would like to decorate with. Then she would go and collect things to eat that she could find. Poor Fire Bright looking more like a beast of burden then a deadly predator. On a final run into the woods she took a smoking bit of wood and would return to Pey with a good sized amount of honeycomb. Yes she had a few stings but she was fine. Once the work was done she sent Fire Bright off to hunt. It made her sad but she didn't want him putting anyone ill at ease. Then she floated on joyful feet down near the water and waited. She didn't want that slippery fish sneaking up on her this time.

(After finding and talking to Autumn in the forest Savith gave her and the things she made a "lift" back to the party area. eek )
Opening her eyes slowly as her and Savith moved above the beach Autumns' jaw kind of fell open a bit. It only made her grip harder to Savith but she was amazed. Once she was set down in the area chosen for the feast Autumn felt she could breath again. *Thank you.* Her mind holding more then thanks for a safe ride but also his council. She took the things from him and grimaced a bit. *I cannot ask her if this is enough. It will end poorly. Someone must ask her for me.* The idea not sitting well with her but she did say she would try.

Llune had learned her lesson from the last gathering the group had, so she paced herself today, only taking on lighter tasks and retiring to rest in her quarters often.
Now that evening was nearing and the elves of the cove were beginning to convene on the party area, Llune drifted in, a large basket full of pretty party trinkets on her hip. Smiling at the gathering crowd, and the bonfire and the building anticipation, Llune wandered up toward Peyote and the others. "Clear skies and sweet waters my friends!" she said once she was within earshot.
Were one to peer inside the large basket, they would discover a multitude of small hand chimes and shakers and other general noise-maker type party favors, as well as a large number of shell and/or flower necklaces, and a large pile or some special tea herbs Llune has blended from local plants, specially made to help everyone wind down at the end of the evening (those with INCREDIBLY sensitive noses may detect the scent of dreamberries, although it's very faint and very dry).
((OOC: edited to include everyone else in the area, not JUST Peyote and Blaze...))

He was silent as his head broke the surface of the water. Tidalwave was the first wavedancer to arrive. He was in the place Pey had chosen for diving and looked over the beach. He could see the landing of the glider and an elf he hadn't met as of yet. Zayn also spotted the others fussing with various tasks as party time approached. Then he grinned spotting the waiting cat elf. His mind locking to Crosscurrents and giving him the heads up. He waited for the others arrival before making himself seen.

Savith settled to the ground with Joy, and dipped his head in a nod at her thanks. He relinquished the items to her without comment as his mind heard her faint grimace. His eyes flicked to the villager, and a smirk bordering on the semi-cruel, alighted upon his face. He whistled sharply, the pitch rising as the blast rang out, before calling in a loud voice, "Pey! Shaper's got something for you." Then, without waiting, he took a step away from Joy and lifted himself up into the air. It was time to find Starsong and Dewpaw and get them to the party too.

Peyote started at the sharp whistle, eyes growing wide as she turned to stare at the source. eek She'd never heard a Chosen whistle so closely before. She blinked until he called her over, and a smile overtook her face. She made her way over, one hand collecting her skirts, as if it would hasten her steps, and her eyes settled on Joy. "Thank you," she bubbled, seemingly undisturbed for the moment at the lack of understanding between them. "You actually made them? Oh, how wonderful! Thank you so much!"

Handing over the things to Pey Autumn nodded. She smiled lightly as she leaned over to pick up a small rock. She held it out to Pey and before her eyes it shifted and moved turning into a little flower. Autumn placed it in Peys hand then walked away. Best to end on a good note then to stay and let things go down hill fast. If Pey took the time to look at it closely she would see a small bee sat on the edge of a flower petal and there was a small hole in the back for her to slip something through should she choose to wear it.

Peyote was too busy with the various items to notice when Autumn Joy bent to reach for a rock. The villager thought she was just going to get another useful. It was when the rock shaper morphed the stone before her eyes, the motion slow enough for the dim-witted elfess to process it that the smile faded into a wide-eyed look of awe. She even inhaled, trembling hands reaching out to take the gift. She blinked a few times as Autumn Joy turned and left, leaving her with the delicate little charm. Turning, she made her way to the cook fire, eyes on the gift, with a surprised expression of wonder.

Blaze, rooting through the few logs and jetsam of the tideline, had come acrost a small half-shell, fan shaped, and battered. He sat at the edge of the waves, crosslegged, and looked to the sea. How he wondered, did such a small, fragile thing live under those waters? From what he saw, the sand simply dropped off out into the depths. Then was not the rest of the seafloor sand, a drowned desert? His revire was broken as a dark crest of wet hair rippled the surface, then submerged. He thought for a moment, then grinned, and sent the shell skimming out over the water towards the swimmer's ripples, a strong, jovial send following it. **Oy! Fish! Git yer tail up out o' the water. Nobody parties that don't bring something to it, eh?**
So sending, he grappled with the nearest few lengths of driftwood, growling with exertion as he drug them laboriously back up the sand. If the Wavedancer wouldn't reply, the fire elf wouldn't mind. Some weren't the most social type. Seeing Joy coming the opposite direction, he grinned and nodded, his hands full. **Hey, Wolfrider. What's the plan?**

Dew had attempted to help with the party, at least she intended to. She no longer had a headache and she was actually excited to swim in the vast deep with Airana, although the smell of salt still irritated her. She had helped gather flowers, whenever she wasn't distracted by something else. She had watched Blaze for a time, with the fire, and wondered around the forest, glad ot be out of the cave. And the smell of rain still hung in the forest, a smell she would always love. Soon, after gathering just a few berries and flowers in a leaf-bag, made by Llune, Dew returned to the beach. She put the bag down near Peyote and smiled, "Hiya Pey!" she called to the desert elfess. "I got some flowers! Not a lot. There's a lot to see in the forest just after rain. And it smells beautiful. Sorry. i meant to get more. But I can help now. If you have something for me to do that is."

Peyote's expression of wonder faded into a brilliant smile as Dewpaw came near.
"Yes, actually. I have the MOST important job for you," she cooed lightly, handing over the pitcher. "I need this filled with clear water from the waterfall, so the top. Can you manage?"
As she held out the pitcher, her other hand moved to get the flwoers. "These are perfect! With all the rest of the flowers this place is going to be specatular!"

The red head tilted to one side as the send from Blaze came to her mind. *The plan it seems is to enjoy yourself this night as it is for all of us.* Her send was light but not as happy as it could be. *Do you need some help with this?* Autumn moved to help him heft the wood to where ever he was going. She felt herself get a bit happier around the other red head of the group and it puzzled her slightly.
