one of my friends died on january 11 from meningitis. I just got home from the funeral. decided to dedicate a thread to all of those who have recently lost someone; friends, family, whatever.

Sorry for your loss, it's really sad especially when someone that young dies of natural causes

wow that really sucks. I'm sorry for your loss.
A girl in my class died of lukemia my junior year. I felt bad because I would talk to her in P.E. class my freshman year and she was really nice and I never talked to her after that besides just saying hi to her in the hallway. They had an entire page dedicated to her in the yearbook my senior year

yeah we had a similar event for another guy who died last year to gang violence. Justin had already graduated though.. it just sucks because I jammed with him a few times and was starting to develop a crush on him. booo

Two people died from my high school days. After I left, another two were involved in a near-fatal accident and one was in a coma for over a week and retains permanent brain damage and has limited functionality.
Meningitis is a shitty way to die. =[
TB is even worse. Bacterial infections ******** suck, really.

also this one kid who is going to the high school I graduated from who I think is a junior this year got hit by a drunk driver and was killed during driver safety week

sorry to hear about you loss
my friend jose died in a gang related crime
where I grew up this was normal
but I never get used to losing my friends
to things like gangs
i went to his funeral july 2nd
