You don't have to have played Luigi's Mansion to play, but it sure would help! If you want to play a character, pm me! I added some things about them, so they have more personality. I'll add all the characters a few at a time.
Note: The rooms are only were they sleep and usually are found. That doesn't mean that they only stay in that room!

Characters:
Neville- the book nerd father. He likes to read in the study all day long. He is very strict and hard to please. He is married to Lydia and has three sons: Henry, Orville, and Chauncey. Grimmly is his brother. Age: 42 Room: Study

Lydia- the mirror gazing mother. She is the sweet mother and loves her family and brushing her hair. She can sometimes turn very aggresive. She is Neville's husband. She has a secret fortune. Age: 34 Room: Master Bedroom

Henry and Orville- twin brothers who love to play hide and seek. They are afraid of Sue Pea. They like to listen to Weston, Jarvis, and Van Gore. They are the sons of Neville and Lydia. Henry wears red, and Orville wears blue. Age: 5 Room: Twin's Room

Sue Pea- a guest of the house. She has a crush on the twins. She went to take a short nap and died. No body except Melody and Jarvis (sort of) can really stand her. She likes to be called "Sweeet Sue Pea" and was the one who started calling Weston "Sir" Weston. Age: 7 Room: Guest Room

Uncle Grimmly- the hermit of darkness. He is the brother of Neville and uncle of Henry, Orville, and Chauncey. He likes the pitch dark and loves to hang out in front of mirrors. He nags a lot. Everybody strives to avoid him Age: 45 Room: Where ever he dang pleases!

Shivers- the wandering butler. He is very creepy. He is smiiten with Melody, but she doesn't notice him. He is always looking for Neville's will. He is very secluded. Age: 72 Room: Butler's Room

Nana- an old lady who loves to knit. She watches the children and is like a nanny. She likes to tell stories about when she was young, but it's rare when some one listens. She is knitting a scarf that is currently over 800 feet long. Age: 75 Room: Nana's Room

Spooky- the guard dog. He likes to eat. He's some sort of bull dog. He has to guard the cemetary, but he's afraid of Bogmire. He likes to bite people. Age: 4 Room: Backyard (Because a backyard is totally a room)

Miss Petunia- a bathing "beauty." She took the form of a large pig when she died. She's in denial and furious that she lost a beauty contest so many years ago. She sings loudly in the shower, which bugs Van Gore who is one floor above her. No one knows this, but she is Weston's cousin. Age: ??? Room: Bathroom

The Floating Whirlwindas (Johny and Kitty)- a dancing couple. Kitty likes to flirt with people and Johny hates Jarvis and Weston. They also like to make out randomly. Kitty will dance with anyone she meets in the hall. Age: ??? Room: Ball Room

Slim Bankshot- a legendary pool shark. His best friend is Weston. He is usually found playing pool. Biff Atlas likes to beat him up. He is very quiet and is very supportive of Weston, though sometimes when they are talking, it sounds like he would like him to leave. Age: 29 Room: Billiards Room

Melody Pianissma- she is a beautiful pianist who is in love with Weston, though he has no clue. Shivers has a crush on her, but she ignores him. She has a rivalry with Kitty, which Kitty started. She plays music according to her mood. Age: 26 Room: Conservetory

Vincent Van Gore- a ghost artist. He is very cranky and takes pride in his art. He is constantly arguing with Jarvis and hates Petunia's singing. He wishes everyone would leave him alone. Age: 59 Room: Artist's Studio

Boolosuss- a jumbo ghost made of fifteen smaller boos. The ring leader is named Boolosuss. The boos have a strict set of rules, two of them being that they aren't aloud to help anyone but themselves and they aren't aloud to be conflicted. They like to dance on the balcony. Age: ??? "Room": Balcony

((Okay! Intro!))
The huge mansion on the hill loomed over the forest that surrounded it. Not a single light was on. They didn't need to be. Everyone in the mansion was dead. Ghosts. The mansion was filled with ghosts.
Each ghost was usually secludeed to his or her own room. These rooms could tell a little about the ghosts' person. The house was peaceful, but the ghosts were restless. Something made of pure evil was coming to the house. And they could all feel it.

Spooky made his way around the ghost mansion, growling and barking at each noise he heard. Spooky prepared to bite anybody that came near and he settled down at the cemetery's entrance, waiting - just waiting - for someone to try to pass.
If they did...well, they wouldn't live long, now, would they?

Melody was in the conservatory, playing the piano softly. She was playing a song that didn't really sound like anything.
She was confused. And she didn't know why.

Spooky cocked his head as the sounds of the piano reached his ears as Melody played a haunting...well, melody. Melody's piano music was the one noise he didn't growl at. Instead, listening to the light notes, he threw back his head and howled in unison.

Spooky closed his eyes happily, noting that Melody's music was a little louder this time. He howled with excitement, increasing his volume as Melody increased hers, decreasing it when Melody did, and finally, coming to a stop. He opened his eyes again and barked gently.
