It's time for me to prove myself
as Santos Aiden Rose, a seperate person from my father. Santos Aiden Rose, a man who's been through a lot in his life. His father was a rapist. That's where Santos came from. His father raped his girlfriend, causing her to get pregnant, and out came Santos. It angered his father, and every week he would come back and abuse him. Black eyes, broken limbs, it was all normal life to Santos.
One night his father went too far. Santos was a pre-teen, about 12 years old. His father had moved in by now, and beatings had become a daily thing. In school his injuries were blamed on skateboarding accidents, but at home it was every bit a reminder of what he did wrong every day. This day, Santos had back talked his father, and his mother had stuck up for him. They were beaten harsher than usual, their wounds much deeper than they'd ever been before. His mother was beaten until she could no longer move, and then his father fled. She bled to death on the floor of their small apartment.
A month later Santos's father was locked up and he was put into the loving arms of his father's sister, who could never quite look Santos in the eyes for shame of the terror her brother had caused. Santos was happier, but he couldn't quite get comfortable in the home. His body healed well, and he was intelligent, succeeding without much effort through highschool. With the help of his aunt he got a decent job, and she helped him afford his first apartment. After a few months he was able to keep up on the cost by himself, with plenty of money left over. He was a well functioning human being for the first time in his life.
Now it was time to prove that he could be something his father could not. A good Daddy.

I'm out to get known for who I am
and failure is not an option when it comes to raising my kids.  Name. Santos Aiden Rose Age. 26 Race. Caucasian Human Special Skills. ... Description.Hair. Black hair with white tips, worn short but straight.
Eyes. Light, icy blue. the kind you can stare into for hours and still never see past.
Skin. Pale. It never seems to absorb energy from the sun.
Distinguishing marks. A black, tribal-ish rose on his upper arm. No one is sure if this is a tattoo or a birthmark.
Style. Santos has picked up a bit of street style. He wears what looks good and is comfortable at the same time. Often times this is a pair of skinny jeans that have been cut at the knees (black is his preference), and a white wife-beater. Sometimes he wears chains, but he ALWAYS wears a silver rose on a silver chain around his neck. Shoes are usually of the skater persuasion, but he's recently grown attached to a pair of red and black Nike vandals. Personality. Santos is a very easy-going guy, despite his history. He gets along with his co-workers well and any normal person would have no idea what he went through just by looking at him. He's got a decent social life, as he's a pretty fun guy to hang out with. He's intelligent, and probably the guy to go to if you have a real problem on your hands. History. While most of Santos's history is in the first post, what you don't know is that he's grown very attatched to his aunt. She helped him find his current job, and she even helped him pay for his apartment until he was financially stable. Most days he forgets she even had a brother. Santos got his job at 20, and have been working there 6 years now. He's not exactly big boss man, but he's working his way there. He's made quite an impression on his company, and he's earning a lot of money because of it. Even with his money, he hasn't even thought of moving to a larger house. He's just one person, and he's grown rather attatched to his two bedroom apartment. Not much else is important in his life. All his scars have faded into nothing-ness with his growing age; yet another sign of his healing. He's considering finding a girlfriend, but hasn't really found a reason yet. Perhaps he could find someone who might help him raise his boys. Important Family. The only real important family Santos has is his aunt. He's never known anyone other than her, besides his deceased mother.

This is my home.It's not much, but I'm comfortable and happy here.
I'll be changing the room next to mine for the boys to live in. I think they'll be comfortable here as they grow, assuming they get along. When they get older and need a little bit more space I'll just do some simple consruction. I don't need all that storage, so I can demolish some of that and extend the bedroom. My apartment is really a condo, so changing it like this is my decision alone.
One bathroom should be fine for all of us, men don't really need bathrooms too much right? Haha.
The kitchen is a pretty decent size. I've got plenty of cabinets and go grocery shopping every friday after work. I eat like a kid, anyways, so I always have plenty of cereal and little snacks like dinosaur gummies. I don't think I'll have any problem feeding them. I also home-cook a meal every night, and with three people in the house I might not have such a hard time with leftovers anymore. I hope they'll have healthy appetites.
The neighborhood is nice. There's a childrens playground by the building, and a mile or so down the road is a skatepark. We live near the beach so family time shouldn't be that hard to come-by. There's lots for us to do.
