In this thread, we discuss problems we have with our writing.
I have a major issue with putting two 'L's in the word 'until'. When I'm typing I just go back and remove one but if I'm actually writing, I end up erasing one 'l' or scratching it out if with pen. I'm also choppy and sometimes have trouble finding good words without repeating ones I've already used. (thank you thesaurus.com) Words I do know I make sure to use them well.

When I'm typing I have problems not capitalizing the beginning letters of words or names and the 'I's in a sentence. When I'm writing I have spelling problems and after I'm done it's like impossible to read ((Whoops)).

My worst writing problem occurs mostly when I am tired and I write words that sound similar. For example "I'm righting a letter" that kind of thing. Sometimes I will notice it and other times I don't.

Sometimes I will notice it and other times I don't. I do something like that too. Only I'll accidentally write txt tlk or put something like "rite," for write or others too.

interestingly enough I'm too inhibited to do text talk unless it's overly used abbreviations such as: LOL, OMG and BRB.
I find LOL to be more of a bad habit though. Majority of the times that I write it I don't even feel slightly amused.
I thought of another horrible vice that I have when writing. I tend to skip words in a sentence. My friends and I concluded it's because my mind moves too quickly for my fingers to keep up xp

This is kind of late but never mind. A problem I have with my writing is the fact that I find it hard to describe scenes, events, etc using the "show - not tell" rule. I also find it hard to make my characters more vivid. xd

I have lots of trouble with character developement. I also capitolise random words, and insert random commas. I also have a problem where I hold down the "shift" key for too long and get words that look like THis. I also often use the same verbs, which really makes it hard to use the show not tell idea.

I am constantly capitalizing random letters, spelling words wrong because I type so freaking fast, and I also always seem to have a problem with staying focused after like, twenty minutes. I just need a short break before I can start writing again, but it makes me so mad! Ugh, cause then I have to go away from my writing and come back, and for some reason that turns me off writing for like, the rest of the day.

Ugh, cause then I have to go away from my writing and come back, and for some reason that turns me off writing for like, the rest of the day. You're right! There seems to be a certain "mood" that I get into that makes it so that once Si stop theres just nothing to say. Lack of concentration is the Writer's (and sometimes the reader's) curse. You want to keep going but theres that book you want to read or something is tapping in the other room....

I miss out words too, when I'm typing or writing. The worst thing I do when writing stories is to get a great idea, start writing it, but be too impatient to get to the best part, and end up making it only a few pages long, missing out important stuff D: Or I forget about the first story when I get another great idea! I have like a boxful of story plans, and character profiles, but no ending!
And I know I joined before and never posted (for which I'm soo sorry), and I intend to be a better member now, adn get involved. Nice to meet you!

I'll get a great idea, write about it for a while, get another great idea and then write about that one for a while and ending up never finishing the first idea..

I'm really bad about using commas. Really REALLY bad. Pretty much anytime I stop to think while I'm writing I just throw a comma in. It gets really annoying when I have to go through and edit them out again.

I'm bad about words ending with -able, like notable and knowledgeable... I never know whether to keep the e or not. sweatdrop
