The Water Field
Five large platforms float on the surface of the deep pool, four forming a diamond formation around the single platform in the center. While land pokemon can move around on this field, it was mainly built for water-types. Rules prevent the freezing of the water. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to WATER type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FIRE type attacks by 25 HP

Ram leaned over the side of a platform, eyeing the water cautiously. Water felt horrible when contacting his body, he really didn't like it at all. And now he was completely surrounded by water. This was definately not going to be fun. Ram sent Luna a worried look, what if he fell in there?
"Aww, don't worry Ram~It'll be fun!" Luna comforted (or at least tried to) her pokemon, leaning over the rail to the trainer platform with a cheerful smile on her face. Today she would get Ram to battle his own teammate - it would be a good experience for the cranidos as well as the trainer who she had allowed to borrow Nine.
((You roll a 6 sided dice in an intro post to see who goes first. The person who rolls the higher number then can post their first attack :3 ))

Nine looked from the water to the strange trainer named Connor and back at Luna. What was this, she thought. Why would Luna willingly let this stranger use her for the battle? Luna should have known how she would feel. It was bad enough that she had to battle. It turned out that she had to fight against Ram too! Blasphemy! She barked loudly and growled in Luna's direction, all the while eying her with great disdain.
Connor flashed a toothy grin at the infuriated Nine. Unbeknownst to him, she wanted to bite his head off. Nevertheless, he proceeded to flash a thumbs-up to her and then looked up at Luna. "Thanks again for letting me borrow her, Luna. She looks great and seems really eager to begin this battle."

Laughing off Nine's agitation, Luna returned Connor's thumbs up with one of his own. "Let's have a nice battle then~!" She replied. Then, wasting no time in starting the battle, shot off her first command. "Ram! Smash a platform and use ancient Power!"
Ram looked VERY skeptical about the move, but sensing Nine's death glare, decided that he should probably do it before he got fireblasted or worse. The dinosaur pokemon smashed his tail onto the platform, shattering it into several smaller pieces. He managed to balance on one of the larger pieces that it had broken off into while a blue light glowed around the other pieces.
The concrete began floating in the air and circling around Ram like a protective shield.

((Ancient power's side affect is raising all stats as well as causing damage. I just chose to use it to raise stats this time. But I can only raise on stat at a time instead of all of the stats in one turn. I can choose for the attack to cause damage next turn if I wanted too. And stat-moves do not require dice rolls, they are an auto hit.
And if my actions kinda don't make sense, here's my bare lagic xD
Ancient power = controls rocks. Concrete = kinda made of rocks? They're the only rock-type things on the field anyways. ))

Connor dropped his thumbs-up and stared at the rocks around Ram. "Whoa... Pretty." Nine growled and Connor regained his train of thought. "Oh right! Let's begin." He slowly shifted his weight to his left leg and shouted. "Nine, use Flamethrower on the rocks!"
Nine rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth and let the fire spew out. She was about to close her mouth and stop the fire from being released when she realized that the concrete was slowly warming up. She smirked and continued until the rocks were smoldering red.

((That's not the best of moves to use. Ram's a rock type, so he has a 2x resistance against fire.
Your attack would normally hit 100, but it's -50 (type disadvatage) and -50 (ancient power boosting my defense) = 0 damage. There's actually an even further -25 because it's the water field (reduces fire type attacks by 25 HP) but you can't go below zero xD ))
"Noooooot the brightest idea." Luna commented as Ram cycled his rocks like a waterwheel to rotate them in and out of the water while taking the flamethrower attack. The field cooled off the rocks from Nine's attack, leaving Ram completely unaffected.
"'Kay, let's go on the offensive now Ram, Ancient Power!"
Smirking at his advantage so far, Ram sent one of the rocks circling at him straight at Nine's face.

Connor grimaced as he realized that the fire would have no effect. Too late. He slapped his forehead as he watched Ram cycle the rocks in and out of the water. "Nine, stop! Its not working. Dodge the rock and use Earthquake!"
Nine jumped to the platform beside her and dodged the hurling rock that was coming at her face. She growled as it flew past and starting jumping from platform to platform until she reached the platform in front of Ram. She smirked and slammed her tail on Ram's platform, sending shockwaves and throwing Ram off balance.

((Ohh, you don't have to list the attack unless you're using it as a stat.
The only reason I keep putting [Ancient Power +50 Def] is to remind you I used ancient power so thus all your attacks from now on are reduced by 50 damage unless you increase your stats/decrease mine with some move xD
And uhm. Ram's platform is a small rock that barely supports his body because he broke it to pieces before to attack you with, but we'll ignore that and make do xD
And for educational purposes. Your attack:
[100 HP (Base damage) + 50 HP (Super effective)] x 2 (critical hit) = 300 HP damage - 50 (ancient power defense) = 250 damage. Ouch D: ))
Ram's eyes widened in surprise as his platform was flipped over and he landed in the water flailing around with his two short forearms. Spluttering out water, Ram barely managed to hear Luna calling out "Grab onto one of your rocks!"
Focusing, Ram summoned one of the many pieces of rocks left over from his smashed platform he controlled to come to him and grabbed onto it for dear life. Then, glaring at Nine, he sent yet another rock that was floating at her side straight at her body.

((Oh s**t! Sorry about that.))
A huge grin formed on Connor's face. "Yeah! There you go, Nine!" He flashed a premature thumbs-up at Nine until he saw the rock hurled at Nine. "Watch out! Dodge it and use Extrasensory." he exclaimed.
Too late. Nine was too close to avoid the rock and it hit her stomach with force. She groaned and was thrown into the water. Coughing and sputtering, she swam to the nearest platform and clambered on. She regained her footing and focused. Her eyes shone and a multi-colored beam shot out towards Ram.

((Your HP is actually at 850 since I used ancient power as my last attack which is rock, which is supereffective against fire types so it has a +50 ATK added onto it. ))
"Ram, shield as much as possible!" Luna said half heartedly, knowing it would be pretty difficult to do so when he was busy clinging for his life on a piece of rock in the water.
Ram ordered another piece of rock to come between him and the beam, but it soon broke under the force of the powerful psychic attack and the beam hit his rock, flipping it (and him) over in the water.
Dizzy and disoriented, Ram continued to glumly cling onto the rock (which had been reduced to half its original size now) with an even more irritated face than before. He focused on a piece of concrete from the former water platform he had smashed that had floated to behind Nine's back and commanded it to shoot at Nine from behind with another ancient power attack.

"Nine, watch out!" Connor said a little too late as the rock smashed into her again.
Nine turned around and caught a glimpse of the rock right before it smashed into her. "Nine!" she yelled as she was thrown once more into the water. Tired, she hung onto another platform and began to get up. Slowly, but surely, she neared Ram. Snickering, she hit Ram on the head with her nine tails. She seemed to be enjoying herself.

Ram's last rock from the ancient power defense broke because of Nine's tail lashing and the cranidos's rock was pushed backwards from Nine's platform some. Luna muttered a low "crap," the extra layer of defense had been helpful. Now they had to take the full brunt of Nine's attacks.
Still, this didn't stop the Cranidos's onslaught of rock throwing. The cranidos believed that the best defense was a good offense anyways. Another piece of platform hovered in the air and shot at Nine.

Connor watched as Nine took the blows. He felt so helpless as he stood on a platform away from the action. He could do nothing but watch. After the onslaught of rock throwing ceased, Connor recollected his thoughts and pulled himself together. "Nine, jump on a different platform and use Solarbeam!"
Nine, wanting to get out of the ring of fire, quickly obeyed and jumped to the platform furthest from Ram. She didn't want to be near his hard head. Focusing on the battle and her desire to win, she began gathering energy from the sunlight until it formed a glowing beam that she shot at Ram.

"Ram, chuck a platform at 'em!" Luna ordered with a large grin on her face. She always wanted to see if this would work on the waterfield.
Ram grinned, he was too tired and full of adrenaline to think properly and the crazy convoluted idea now seemed like a brilliant one to him. Ram focused on the center platform of the field, making it glow and slowly lift off the water with his trained ancient power attack. Not only would this make it harder for Nine to jump between platforms, the platform would also be pretty painful if it hit. Nine was stuck on a platform surrounded by all sides by water, it would be hard to dodge afterall.
With a loud final cry of "DOOOOOOOOS!", Ram chucked the platform at Nine's solarbeam attack. The solarbeam shot a hole through it and blew the rock Ram was clinging to into nothing as well as forced the cranidos underwater. Luckily, Ram was able to use his strong hind legs to kick back to the surface of the water and cling to a larger more solid platform as he got a good view of the giant platform he threw drawing closer and closer to Nine.
Hopefully his trainer wouldn't get too mad if he smushed his teammate.
