Did anybody else notice various rooms/subforums that can be created in other guilds? I wonder if it's a new change that affects all guilds, and it's something we can have here too? Not that I'd know what we should do with that ability, but we can brainstorm, or just try things.
Hmm.. maybe I should check the announcements.

I picked a room only for the gold because if we would really want a sub-forum, it would cost 2,500 gold from the guild account. We have the gold, but I don't think we need another forum yet. Does anyone agree or disagree?

Oh, if it costs, then it would be something we'd have to really want or need. Too bad we can't just create them willy-nilly. razz
I think having other sub-forum(s) would be useful if we had many topics in different catagories that we wanted to organize better, like all the Neopets/Sims/Maple Story/Animal Crossing etc. threads in one place (would we be able to move threads from here to there?), and all guild raffles/lottos/avi contests/holiday events in another, and maybe one for the guild links, houses, siggie pets, purkle closet, and other gaia guild things, and then the main for chatter and random threads about what we did that weekend or whatever.
Just some ideas! If it's something we wanted to do and didn't have the gold for, I could certainly donate.

Well let the purkles decide what they think about it. We can even make a forum for guild council only. But right now the need really isn't there. I'm heading over to the captains guild to read more about it.

GGN 2.0 has had subforum support added!
Subforums cost 2500 gold and can be purchased through the moderator panel if you are a captain or vice captain.
In addition, you can change the name of your forums at any time, and you can specify a forum as "crew only".
Yes, you will be able to move threads from one forum to another, it is currently unfinished.
Report BUGS in this thread =]. Pick another thread about subforums if you want to feedback about the price or anything like that. Only report bugs here so I can make sure and fix stuff quickly =3.
Current bugs:
* Can't lock threads in subforum
* Can't delete threads from subforum
* Can't move threads from one forum to another
Please include the URL, any error messages, and/or screenshots to help me understand the bug

Must be a mod thing They're subforums that can be created within the guild, like they have the word games within one of the main forums, and charity/quests within Commerce. It's not a mod thing, and the only reason I figured it's new is because Poll Central suddenly has a bunch of subforums.
